The hotel is really old like 45years and looks a like they have not done any refurbishment since then . Beds smell of damp and also not very comfortable.

No early check in when I took 2 days flight and just arrived

Not even a 3 star hotel. Very dirty. No water, tea or coffe in the rooms as well as the shop at the lobby is never operating. Having issues with drainage that gives bad smell. Shower cabins are too small and getting flooded after 1 minute of use. Nothing is good about this place but location.

Planeta is quite outdated in terms of amenities and rooms. The location is superb but other than that, i believe there are better hotels in the city

Loved staying at this beautiful hotel! Former US presidents have stayed at this hotel as well. Loved the view of the city from the upper floors. ❤️👍

Very good location in the city centre, clean and cosy room, nice and helpful stuff.

It is a good 3 star hotel near the centre. It is perfect for a short stay to visit Minsk on a budget.

Located near WW2 museum, old soviet style is a plus, nice staff and reasonable priced.

Disaster. The hotel is stuck in the 70s, no doubt. Cons: 1. They will look at your check-in documents only after 2:00 PM, even if you arrived at the hotel at 7 AM, they will not look at your documents at all, let alone early check-in. Wild. 2. The technical condition of the floor (we got the 11th floor) requires repair, there was broken furniture and doors lying around in the hall on the floor, it was disgusting to look at. 3. The cooler only worked for cold water, hot water is not provided. In the corridor there was a half-broken electric kettle on a cardboard box, which had to be watched in order to turn it off manually, since the lid was broken and it was bubbling like a boiler all the time. 4. The room. There are simply not enough words to describe this. Broken furniture, chipped plumbing, moldy shower, non-working ventilation, torn out sockets.... Gloom 5. The air conditioner leaves puddles in the room, we slipped. 6. The price. Are you serious, 6000 for this? It's better and 2 times cheaper in hostels. 7. When leaving luggage, the service is paid. Not worth it, at the railway station it's 2.5 rubles per bag. Everything is fast and well-organized. Pros of the room: 1. We were in Minsk impromptu and had a place in the hotel. Now I understand why no one likes this hotel and there are always places. 2. The bed linen is clean and white, the mattress is comfortable. 3. View of the avenue. Not bad. Service staff: The daytime screaming of the maid to someone under the door of the room was very irritating. She always has a vacuum cleaner in the hallway, you can't walk normally. What kind of upbringing do these people have? We have not heard about the quality of service in this hotel. Conclusion: The hotel requires renovation and staff change!

The hotel front is OK, but please note that this hotel cannot provide you with visa on arrival. If you need to stay for more than ten days, remember to change to a 4-star hotel. The hotel was established very early, the facilities are relatively old, and the environment is average.

The hotel is not bad, it is close to the center, it is convenient to get to tourist locations on foot. The hotel itself is a little tired, in my opinion, but quite comfortable. The hotel is located within walking distance from the city center. The Soviet interiors of the hotel are maintained in a well-kept, high-quality condition. The bed is comfortable, the linen is of high quality, it is good to sleep. There are good dishes at breakfast, but in general the breakfasts are quite meager. A hotel employee who comes out into the hall during breakfast and asks visitors what food to bring to whom is very strange. The coffee is bad, but this is probably the only minus of the hotel. In general, everything is quite interesting and it is comfortable to stay at the hotel.

How can this be called a four-star hotel? It's completely inferior to the fast-food hotels in China! The facilities are old and the cleanliness is average. The location is okay, a bit out of the way compared to the Big Y Hotel. The most incredible thing is that it costs 5 white rubles per suitcase. The front desk staff acted like they were owed money and had a terrible attitude. My Russian is indeed average, but couldn't you speak more slowly? Don't book here again!

For a three-star hotel, everything is at a good level.
