Hotel Terrace the Garden Mito Reviews

A very nice and clean hotel, with a convenient location. It is literally just next to Mito station, and there are ample restaurants nearby. The staff are very friendly, and they speak decent English. The onsen in the hotel is very nice.

The hotel is well located with the train station & shopping near by. It has only 1 restaurant. The hotel probably expect the guests to make use the abundant f & b in the surrounding area. The rooms are comfortable but the furniture is abit old and loose fitting. The staff was friendly and helpful although their understand of English is quite low. Overall, I enjoyed my 4 nights stay and will probably use the same hotel if I am in the Mito ( Ibaraki) area.

Location is excellent as it is next to the mito station and room is spacious. But public bath is small and piano in the lobby was not allowed to be played while some functions are held

The room was on the side of the station rotary. The window was about 20cm wide, so I was able to put my book or smartphone on it, or sit down and look outside. It wasn't a very large room, but it was nice to be able to spend time there without feeling closed in. The large public bath ♨️ had a strong chlorine smell. Also, there was no staff at the entrance to the breakfast venue, so I was confused when handing over the ticket. The breakfast buffet had both Japanese and Western dishes. The selection was just right. The room was generally clean, and I was very satisfied with the price. I would use it again if I had the opportunity.

The large communal bath is under construction and cannot be used. Guests who smoke in the smoking area get on the elevator, so it smells strongly of cigarettes. The renovated rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom remains old.

It's very close, 1 minute walk from Mito Station. Mito Station itself seems to have a lot of bad students. Other than that, it's really good. I also used the public bath. It's a really good room for the price.

Of course, the staff were also polite at check-in, so it was stress-free. I didn't use the restaurant this time. If I have the opportunity to visit Mito again, I would like to use it again.
