ATTENTION !!! Be aware of the big black dog: I was bitten on the road - just in front of the hotel - by the black dog!! 18.10.2023 Nobody was there, but the dogs, belonging to the hotel, were running free .... I WAS BITTEN!!! NO CROWNING - JUST BEING ATTACKTED FROM BEHIND!!!

I stayed in this hotel on the occasion of the Varola festival in Melfi and I had a great time. Very spacious, comfortable and clean room. Friendly and welcoming staff. Very varied breakfast, both sweet and savory and plentiful, excellent service. Excellent location near the Montecchio lakes, immersed in the greenery of the forest.

beautiful place, surrounded by nature a stone's throw from the Monticchio lakes.. we had lunch here and we are happy to have done so, exquisite cuisine, well prepared dishes and very friendly staff! I recommend this place, of course you could also stay overnight with a reservation

After two summer stays at Borgo Villa Maria we express our total satisfaction with the elegant and well-kept structure, the absolute cleanliness, the kindness and helpfulness of the owners and all the staff. Excellent breakfast and well-kept and clean swimming pool surrounded by greenery. We will certainly return, highly recommended!!!

Hotel 200 meters from the small lake. Very convenient for trips to the lakes. Large and clean rooms. Slept great. Beautiful swimming pool with bar. Rich breakfast. Very friendly staff. WiFi almost non-existent, I would say the only flaw.
