Charming, peaceful escape in a tiny hilltop medieval village with stunning views and a private terrace. Claudia was a fabulous host. The infinity pool is beautiful and the grounds are impeccably maintained. Our apartment was clean and comfortable. Not luxurious but we weren’t expecting it to be. You get the feeling you are living in an old castle. It’s the closest thing to a fairytale! Montisi is a quiet spot with limited facilities and things close down on weekends so stock up ahead of time and do make reservations for the only 2 restaurants. Otherwise it’s a drive over to the next village.
