Mountain View Hotels in Nanping

We were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended. The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour. The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

Facilities: Great, perfect for escaping the daily grind. Hygiene: Clean and hygienic. The unique tea fragrance is incredibly refreshing. Environment: Just look at the pictures – everyone who comes here instantly falls in love. Service: The whole family is wonderful. The dad is very trendy, the mom is incredibly wise, and the son is very enthusiastic. I drank various teas personally brewed by the owner and ate genuine tea eggs. When I couldn't join the group activities due to personal reasons and was left alone, the owner's family warmly invited me to have lunch with them. Highly recommended, I'll definitely come again.

1. On the very first day of booking, an 8-person group chat was set up for us – truly VIP service! They patiently asked if we were driving and helped arrange parking and rooms. Upon arrival, someone was there to guide us to the parking spot. 2. We received a complimentary upgrade to a king-size room. The room's amenities were dazzling and extensive, truly impressive, from a large toilet seat for children to small cotton swabs and nail clippers. 3. The restaurant's food and breakfast were also delicious, featuring Wuyishan specialties. Tea and fruit were provided free of charge, and the tea eggs at the entrance were absolutely amazing. 4. Umbrellas were thoughtfully placed at the hotel entrance for guests to use freely. Remember to go to the first floor to enjoy tea with the lovely lady there.

Extremely satisfied with this hotel, just a minor issue with the showerhead holder being a bit loose. Everything else was perfect. The environment is quiet and peaceful, and the breakfast was abundant and delicious. I would choose to stay here again when I visit Wuyi Mountain.

The room is spacious, super clean, and thoughtfully designed with minimalist touches. The natural colors and materials create a calming atmosphere that feels like home — perfect for slow living. The bathroom is large, spotless, and well-equipped with amenities. I especially loved the beautiful natural light in the room. On the ground floor, there’s a vibrant tea shop where young locals drop by, creating a lively atmosphere. You'll find historical exhibitions and curated objects that offer insight into both Wuyishan and the rich heritage of Chinese tea. And don’t miss meeting Xiaobai, the friendly resident dog who’s always happy to greet guests. The 6th floor features a cozy tatami-style common room, complete with a go board and a tea table overlooking stunning panoramic mountain views — an ideal place to unwind. What truly sets this place apart is the host and the staff. They’re warm, welcoming, and always ready to share tea with you — each time you return from a walk or come downstairs. I stayed two nights and tried at least 6–7 different kinds of Wuyishan tea. Even as a solo traveler and a foreigner, I felt included in conversations and easily connected with other guests. Pro tip: If you know a bit of Chinese, it’ll help you dive deeper into the stories behind the place. But even if you don’t, the language of tea will still make you feel at home. During this trip, I stayed at Wuyishan Guanlan Shuyuan Space and experienced their butler service. The butlers, Xiao Guo and Xiao Chen, were warm and attentive. From sending travel guides in advance to helping resolve travel issues at any time, they saved us some unnecessary expenses. The hotel environment is exceptionally nice; the courtyard design is elegant, and the lighting and arrangement are great for photos. You can easily capture stunning shots, so photography lovers shouldn't miss it. The restaurant is also very good—the dining environment is clean and bright, and enjoying the scenery while eating is extremely relaxing. I was quite satisfied with the food, accommodation, activities, parking, and location. Highly recommended for self-driving trips, whether traveling independently, in groups, or with family!

The hotel's hardware details are thoughtfully designed, with effective blackout curtains in the rooms and instant hot water. The public amenities are comprehensive; after exploring Wuyi Mountain, it was great to relax in the gym or do laundry and drying, which made the trip much more convenient. The facilities definitely deserve five stars.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The room was big and sunny, very silent, the bed comfortable, the heating worked really well and the shower gets nice and hot if you wait for a while. It’s off season right now, but we were still surprised to see that the hotel was practically empty, it deserves more clients. It’s one of the few hotels inside the park which is very convenient, and much nicer than the ones outside of the park that look really sad and ugl. We much preferred waking up with a view on the tea plantations. The staff doesn’t speak English at all but they’re very kind and will try their best to understand all your needs through translation apps. We ended up staying a day less and they were kind enough to give us the breakfast for free. They will also offer you to taste their local tea in the hall, which is delicious and served in the traditional way which is fascinating to watch. The furniture and overall look of the hotel might be a little dated, but we actually liked it, it gives character compared to all the ultra modern, aseptic hotels. The breakfast was really abundant and delicious, typical of the area which we loved. The only real inconvenience is that didi won’t be able to leave you at the hotel entrance, it will be stopped at the park entrance which is a 10 minutes walk on a road busy with all the park’s buses. The solution is either booking the car directly through the hotel, or ask the hotel to register your didi’s plate so it can enter the park. We did this when we visited the nearby Xiamei village and it worked.

The room was great, and the stay was very pleasant. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and genuinely helpful. They even assisted us in planning our itinerary for the next two days, as we had no idea where to go. We're so grateful! The location is perfect, right inside the scenic area, which is super convenient – you'll see what I mean when you get here. The bus stop for the scenic spots is right next door. Loved it! (●♡∀♡)

Choosing this hotel in Wuyishan was absolutely the right decision! We were traveling with elderly family members, and the front desk staff proactively helped us plan our sightseeing routes in the scenic area. They also recommended some authentic local restaurants tucked away in the alleys, which we thoroughly enjoyed and found to be delicious. Our room was spotless every day, and yesterday when I requested extra hangers, they were delivered within minutes of my call. My mom especially loved the Wuyi Rock Tea eggs at breakfast. We had such a comfortable stay that we extended it for another two nights. I've already recommended it to my friends, and we'll definitely be staying here again next time!
