We were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

Stumbled upon a Ctrip gem, this B&B was a delightful surprise during my Wuyishan trip. The scenery here is stunning, easily rivaling the Nine-Bend Stream. The owner is incredibly warm and provides excellent service. They even upgraded our room for free, offered complimentary fruit, tea eggs, and health-boosting tea, and the breakfast spread was generous. Their tea factory produces delicious tea, and they even gifted us some when we left. This B&B offers great value for money, especially for someone as particular about cleanliness as I am – I couldn't find a single flaw, even in the nooks and crannies. Highly recommended!

Guest UserThe room was cozy and clean. Our family was traveling together, and we had booked two 1.5m beds. They upgraded us for free to two 1.8m beds and even gave us four bottles of mineral water. The room had lots of snacks, as well as a thermometer and sewing kit, which was very thoughtful. The Da Hong Pao show is only a five-minute walk away, and it's about a 7-minute drive to the Wuyi Mountain scenic area. The proprietress and staff were all very friendly. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Jay87Whether you're already passionate about tea or just starting your journey, Buzhichun is the perfect place to stay in Wuyishan — a city deeply rooted in tea culture.
The room is spacious, super clean, and thoughtfully designed with minimalist touches. The natural colors and materials create a calming atmosphere that feels like home — perfect for slow living. The bathroom is large, spotless, and well-equipped with amenities. I especially loved the beautiful natural light in the room.
On the ground floor, there’s a vibrant tea shop where young locals drop by, creating a lively atmosphere. You'll find historical exhibitions and curated objects that offer insight into both Wuyishan and the rich heritage of Chinese tea. And don’t miss meeting Xiaobai, the friendly resident dog who’s always happy to greet guests.
The 6th floor features a cozy tatami-style common room, complete with a go board and a tea table overlooking stunning panoramic mountain views — an ideal place to unwind.
What truly sets this place apart is the host and the staff. They’re warm, welcoming, and always ready to share tea with you — each time you return from a walk or come downstairs. I stayed two nights and tried at least 6–7 different kinds of Wuyishan tea. Even as a solo traveler and a foreigner, I felt included in conversations and easily connected with other guests.
Pro tip: If you know a bit of Chinese, it’ll help you dive deeper into the stories behind the place. But even if you don’t, the language of tea will still make you feel at home.
Thank you, Buzhichun, for turning my trip to Wuyishan into such a memorable experience.

A delightful surprise during my trip to Wuyi Mountain! Guanlan Shuyuan is nestled along the Chongyang Stream, offering breathtaking views of lush mountains and clear waters right from the window. The designer villa style is incredibly photogenic, and the private balcony is perfect for enjoying tea and the scenery. The whole-house smart system is super convenient. The bedding was so soft, I had a great night's sleep. Housekeeper Xiao Chen was very attentive and even brought welcome fruits. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Wuyi!

We received a warm welcome from the staff. Check in was straightforward and prompt. The lobby area was spacious and pleasantly furnished. The staff gave us a room upgrade and we had a spacious and well appointed room that made us feel very at home. When we arrived, it was close to lunch time and the staff checked in on us on meal requests, we took the lunch and it was a good spread of local specialties. Breakfast was freshly made and gave us a good impression of how a well prepared local breakfast would be like, also the meal was well balanced with dairy, vegetables etc. The room package also included a afternoon tea in the garden with a water feature, a tea bath and a evening Chinese tea appreciation session where we chatted with the staff. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Our family stay with the kids was fantastic! They even upgraded us for free, which was a nice surprise. The room was really spacious, and the bed was huge. Plus, the hotel thoughtfully provided children's amenities. There are supermarkets and snack stalls nearby, making it super convenient for getting around with little ones. The staff were also very friendly towards the kids. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay and definitely our top choice for family travel!

Pros: The location is excellent. You can take a direct bus from North Station to Lantang Station, and after getting off, the entrance is just 100 meters ahead. When sightseeing, Wuyi Palace is a short walk from the hotel's main entrance. From the Wuyi Palace stop, you can catch the scenic bus which takes you to all the attractions, making it incredibly convenient. Staying here eliminates the need for repeated taxi rides. The scenery is beautiful; if it rains, the misty Dawang Peak is absolutely stunning. The staff are simple, yet professional.
Cons: The hairdryer kept cutting out after a short while, which was very inconvenient for women with long hair. If this bothers you, I recommend bringing your own hairdryer.

Choosing this hotel in Wuyishan was absolutely the right decision! We were traveling with elderly family members, and the front desk staff proactively helped us plan our sightseeing routes in the scenic area. They also recommended some authentic local restaurants tucked away in the alleys, which we thoroughly enjoyed and found to be delicious. Our room was spotless every day, and yesterday when I requested extra hangers, they were delivered within minutes of my call. My mom especially loved the Wuyi Rock Tea eggs at breakfast. We had such a comfortable stay that we extended it for another two nights. I've already recommended it to my friends, and we'll definitely be staying here again next time!

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The room was big and sunny, very silent, the bed comfortable, the heating worked really well and the shower gets nice and hot if you wait for a while. It’s off season right now, but we were still surprised to see that the hotel was practically empty, it deserves more clients.
It’s one of the few hotels inside the park which is very convenient, and much nicer than the ones outside of the park that look really sad and ugl. We much preferred waking up with a view on the tea plantations. The staff doesn’t speak English at all but they’re very kind and will try their best to understand all your needs through translation apps. We ended up staying a day less and they were kind enough to give us the breakfast for free. They will also offer you to taste their local tea in the hall, which is delicious and served in the traditional way which is fascinating to watch.
The furniture and overall look of the hotel might be a little dated, but we actually liked it, it gives character compared to all the ultra modern, aseptic hotels. The breakfast was really abundant and delicious, typical of the area which we loved. The only real inconvenience is that didi won’t be able to leave you at the hotel entrance, it will be stopped at the park entrance which is a 10 minutes walk on a road busy with all the park’s buses. The solution is either booking the car directly through the hotel, or ask the hotel to register your didi’s plate so it can enter the park. We did this when we visited the nearby Xiamei village and it worked.
