SSharonWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

GGuest UserThe experience of this homestay is great! The location of the Binfenli B&B is excellent, the surrounding scenery is beautiful, and the travel is convenient. The room design is unique, the layout is warm and elegant, the facilities are all available and the quality is excellent, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and it makes people sleep well all night. The hotel staff is warm and hospitable, the service is thoughtful and intimate, you can feel the warmth of home here, I highly recommend it to everyone, I will choose this homestay next time!

MM21404****The owner was very welcoming. After booking the room, they added me on WeChat for one-on-one service. Upon arrival, the staff proactively helped with our luggage and even gave us free bottled water and carrying straps. Best of all, they upgraded our room type for free! The upgraded room was much larger, had a bathtub, and a floor-to-ceiling window facing the sun. It was also very clean. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

JJ ZuoThis resort is perfect for a relaxing vacation. The environment is first-class, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff service is polite and thoughtful.
So why did I give it 3.5 instead of 5 stars despite such good service? Because the very last moment at check-out was a huge flaw that made me feel unsafe and disrespected.
I was checking out at the front desk. I'm a man, but the female receptionist addressed me by a woman's name. Then she asked me to wait a moment. My backpack was still on the seat, so I went to pick up a package nearby. When I turned back, two strangers were consulting with the receptionist right in front of my backpack. The receptionist didn't turn them away, which meant I had to wait next to them.
There's a potential safety hazard here. My backpack was on the seat, and those two people were blocking the receptionist's view, creating a possibility of items being stolen. Secondly, it was unprofessional; she hadn't even finished serving me before attending to other guests, which shows a lack of respect for the customer.

The guesthouse has extensive common areas, including a book bar, tea room, and a terrace, all fully equipped. In the afternoon, brewing a pot of Wuyi rock tea and just gazing at the mountain view is incredibly relaxing. Returning in the evening, the warm yellow light outlines the gentle contours of the building, immediately giving you that comforting feeling of coming home. Whether you're traveling solo to clear your mind or with family, this place will provide you with perfect holiday memories.

CCatttttttHygiene was inconsistent; the bathroom smelled and had noticeable hair. Service was inconsistent; a few staff members were nice, but the short-haired staff member was rude, rushing to leave and trying to impose rules on people. Staying in a guesthouse isn't about being told what to do; they had absolutely no service awareness. They urged me to check out at 11 PM, something I've never encountered in all my hotel stays. Soundproofing was poor; there was construction noise nearby early in the morning and during the day, and the neighbors next door would jump rope in their building until 10 PM. Of all the guesthouses I stayed at in Wuyishan, I gave 5 stars except for this one—it ruined my experience.

The front desk lady was very warm, attentive, and helpful, answering all my questions and even upgrading my room for free. The room was very spacious, clean, and odorless, and the air conditioning was quiet, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. The breakfast was also rich and satisfying! I'll definitely choose Baina Hotel again if I come back to Wuyishan.

MM514914****Great, met my expectations. It was clean and tidy, and the reception was very welcoming. They even gave us a map of the scenic area, which was a thoughtful touch. What my child loved most, and what was perfect for them, was the Xiaodu smart robot. It could answer questions and even play videos, clearing up a lot of knowledge gaps for them. You could say it's a hardcore popular science little expert!

GGuest UserThe environment is quiet and beautiful, and the rooms are immaculately clean. The owner and her family are incredibly kind, making it feel like home. Everyone there is so friendly. They greeted us as soon as we entered, making it feel like home, and we enjoyed tea and chatted whenever we had time.
The location is also convenient, with easy transportation, making it hassle-free. You can take bus No. 9 directly from Wuyishan North Station, and the bus is free, which is a real relief!
There's also a restaurant where you can order dishes, with clearly marked prices. The dishes are delicious, and the portions are generous, making for a satisfying meal.
Highly recommended!
