Mountain View Hotels in Pingtung

We received a warm welcome from the host. The location is perfect as it's a couple minute walk to the Kenting Express Bus stop and our day tour pickup point. The building is a short walk to Kenting's Main Street so the setting is quieter and nicer than many of its competitors. The room is very clean. Last but not the least, the breakfast is fantastic. It's freshly cooked, healthy, and the food appears to be locally sourced. Overall it was a pleasant and great stay at MaMaLuLu.

The owners are incredibly thoughtful and the hotel itself is beautiful. It's really close to the beach, and they even provide instant noodles, snacks, coffee, and milk tea! I hope their business flourishes! They also helped me with directions, which I really appreciate. Waking up to cute cats downstairs in the morning was such a heartwarming touch. It's a very cozy guesthouse.

I was very satisfied with this stay. It was my first time in Kenting, and I chose the Caesar Park Hotel. I pre-booked the shuttle from Zuoying, Kaohsiung, and everything went smoothly from the start. We arrived at the hotel in over two hours. Although it's 40 years old, the hotel is very well-maintained, the decor is modern, and the service attitude was excellent. Upon check-in, the front desk gave us dining vouchers for the Little Bay Bar and the hotel lobby bar. Sitting on Little Bay Beach opposite the hotel in the evening was very pleasant. The food at the lobby bar was also delicious! The room came with new flip-flops, which were quite comfortable. All the facilities are new, there's a coffee machine, water dispensers on every floor, and self-service washing machines and dryers. The room also had complimentary drinks and snacks, and the soundproofing was excellent! Even with a garden view, it was still very beautiful, and you could see the mountain scenery. The hotel's location is superb, within walking distance of Kenting Main Street. The lobby has bicycles available for rent, and there are also Ubikes outside. Taxis are also quite convenient! You need a ********* ID to rent a car. Breakfast was also good and quite varied. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience!

Wonderful place, can't fault it. Perfect location, about 90 seconds walk from the bus station. Lovely room, very spacious and clean. Nice to have a relaxing chair, plus a desk and chair for sitting at. My room had a balcony, nice view and enjoyed relaxing sitting out there one of the nights. Breakfast isn't on site, but instead is vouchers for a nice café a few minutes up the high street, and I enjoyed their food a lot. Reception were very helpful and friendly when I arrived, and said hello every time I came in and out of the hotel. Will definitely book here again when I come back to the area.

Hotel Review (Accessibility & Safety Concerns): The location of this hotel is very convenient — it is close to the beach and within walking distance to the night market, which is definitely a plus. However, overall my stay was not very comfortable. Inside the room, the floor is not completely even. While it may not seem like a big issue at first, it could easily become a tripping hazard, especially for older guests or anyone not paying close attention. The bathroom is also not separated into dry and wet areas, which makes it more slippery and less convenient to use. Another important point is that the hotel does not have an elevator. Carrying luggage up and down the stairs can be quite inconvenient, particularly for elderly guests or those with heavy bags. Although the interior design may look quite stylish or luxurious at first glance, in reality it feels impractical and raises safety concerns. There are other small details as well, but I will not go into them here. I understand that different properties have their own limitations, and I am sharing this from a personal perspective. I hope this information can be helpful for future travelers when making their decision.

We contacted you in advance to arrange luggage storage, yet when we arrived there was no one there and it took a long time to get hold of anyone. Why couldn’t an access code have been provided before our arrival so we could store our bags without unnecessary delays? When we eventually managed to contact someone, it turned out that only the cleaner was on site. We were repeatedly told to leave the front door open with all of our belongings in plain view while there was no reception staff present. How is that a reasonable or secure way to treat guests? We returned at 4:00 pm for check-in and once again spent around 15 minutes trying to reach someone because there was still no one available. Another resident even told us that no staff member would be coming that day. When we finally got through to someone, there was no apology whatsoever for the inconvenience. To make matters worse, only one towel was provided for our stay. The noise on the first floor was excessive, and the door lock did not feel secure. I have stayed in many budget hotels, including some that were unclean or poorly maintained, but this has been by far the worst experience due to the complete lack of customer service and the apparent absence of even the most basic procedures for running accommodation. Is this really how you treat your customers?

What can you say? It’s the only hotel in Kenting that’s directly on the beach. The facilities are a bit dated, but if you run out of food options at the hotel, there’s always a night market within walking distance.

A very beautiful guesthouse with a great location. It was perfect timing for the Taiwan Festival, so it wasn't noisy at night. It's close to the main street, so even if the road is closed due to the event, it's still very convenient; you can walk to the main street.

Just across the street is the beach, and the place is beautifully designed, clean, and comfortable, with a great location near the aquarium. Breakfast was simple and nice with sandwiches. The owner is extremely kind and helpful. We arrived late and nearby restaurants were closed, but the owner kindly helped order seafood dinner from a local restaurant for us — and it was delicious. A truly warm and lovely place to stay.
