Mountain View Hotels in Athens

Absolutely fantastic! The breakfast was amazing, especially the super sweet fruit – the kiwi and mango were already peeled, which was a nice touch. The desserts were delicious too. The bathroom counter was huge, perfect for women. My room had a small desk right by the window, from which I could watch the changing of the guard at Syntagma Square. I stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed sitting there and reading. Being so close to Syntagma Square, the X95 airport bus stop is just a 2-3 minute walk away, about 200 meters. The path is flat with no inclines or declines, making it easy to manage with luggage. All the major attractions are within walking distance. Across the street is the National Garden, and there's a metro station nearby – incredibly convenient! The rooftop cafe and balcony offer stunning views of the Acropolis, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the Parliament building. I even spent New Year's Eve on the rooftop watching the fireworks. I highly recommend this hotel!

Double standard room is a basement that smells of sewage. Definately not a garden its a tiny corner wth 2 chairs and some plants! Take Care! 😡😡 When we we went to their titchy reception he said he cannot do anything and we need to call reservation office! So we were trying to get a hold of them and called 6 times. Nobody answererd! We were willing to pay to be moved to a normal room they called back about 3 - 4 hours later saying they would see what they can do. Surprisingly within the same call they changed what they had initially said and said they can’t. The room was horrible and definately not 30 m2. At most 18-20m2. The room is clean but thats about it, all in all a TERRIBLE experience!!

The room was small despite being told it was an upgrade. next to no storage in the bathroom nor bedroom. We had a balcony but no furniture at all, pointless. Poor view of a derelict building. Nothing to be able to hang wet swimsuits on. Holder for shower gel had broken and not had not been repaired, bottle was positioned on the floor! Swimming pool was heaving and very noisy. We observe groups thet were not guests.Not enough shade for 36 degree heat. Even the restaurant was noisy for dinner in the evening. Great view of acropolis spoilt by the loud music! Busy hotel, wouldn't visit in July!

We had a bit of difficulty locating the hotel as there was no signboard. However, we were delighted to find it right in the centre of the shops. (For those who are new, it’s right next to the money changer). (See photo. It’s the black gate.)   The hotel is located just steps away from the metro station escalator, the Acropolis museum and the Acropolis as well! We stayed comfortably as there were 2 bedrooms with double beds. It actually fits 6 but we were only 4.  There’s a small kitchen equipped with microwave, fridge, cuttlery & utensils and a small bathroom,  We loved the gyros and souvlaki from the shop downstairs . We enjoyed walking to the neighbouring flea market as well and renting the scooter for faster transport.  We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Acropolis Heart.  For those who are fortunate enough to get available rooms, it is highly recommended 👍👍

Excellent location, was within walking distance of the Acropolis and Parthenon. Only down side was that Acqua Di Parma amenities were advertised but was just olive oil branded amenities when I got there. Breakfast bar was small and simple but had enough for a light breakfast. The lobby area is very small and was crowded when I arrived, filled with luggage. Probably not a good hotel if you are disabled. O

Only stayed one night but everything was clean and enjoyable. We came into Athens on a red eye flight, so we were very grateful to that we could check in early. We basically slept for 12 hrs!!

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights before we move back to UK, the location is very good, outside full of restaurants and shops. The breakfast is decent too. Swimming pool is a bit small, but the feasible sized parasols are limited by the pool when the weather was windy. And towels are limited too, was told by the staff each person only allowed one towel every day. No kettle in the mini bar inside the room. And the Safe box was a disaster, very old and inside equipped with some badly aged fabric. All my personal items stored inside were covered by red fluffy bits.

The hotel was clean, with with excellent service. Just a little far from the main centre for walking on hot days. - about 30 minutes, but fine in cooler weather. However, only a short walk to the hop on hop off bus stop & taxis were not expensive, about €7.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Küstenstraße in Alimos, mit wunderschönem Blick auf das Meer. Zwar trennt eine viel befahrene Straße das Hotel vom Strand, doch die gute Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel machte es einfach, sowohl das Zentrum Athens und  die Nahe Umgebung zu erreichen.   Das Zimmer war sauber und gut ausgestattet, mit einem kleinen Balkon, von dem aus ich den Sonnenuntergang über dem Meer genießen konnte.  Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Check-in und Check-out verliefen reibungslos.  Das Frühstücksbuffet war abwechslungsreich. Das Tropical Hotel ist eine gute Wahl für Reisende, die eine Unterkunft in Meeresnähe mit guter Verkehrsanbindung  suchen.
