The Attalos Hotel is good with everything you need, reception is right at the front door with very helpful and friendly staff, the lifts are small, so only one person and your luggage at a time, but that’s ok. It has the most amazing rooftop with Athens’ best kept secret bar and view of the acropolis that you won’t ever forget. Rooms are good, (we stayed in 507 & 506), not too big, however Athens is old so it’s ok for what you need and I am picky. The bed is comfortable, the linen is clean and fresh towels, the bathroom is small but water is hot and water pressure perfect. Great location, just off a small street and so close to Monastiraki Square in Athens which is less than 100 meters away. Close to a supermarket, cafe’s everywhere (you have to get yourself a real Greek coffee- now that’s a caffeine hit you will need after travelling 😉) and there is amazing authentic Greek Food all around. I recommend Nikos Tavern just pass the church in the square and left up the alley. It one of the oldest, and I was there 32 years ago. You will see all the tables and chairs!! Attalos is walking distance to all the sights you need to see, like the acropolis and museums and train station are right nearby. I will definitely stay here again ever time I visit Athens on my way to the Peloponnese. What a great memory, Thanks guys!!

Double standard room is a basement that smells of sewage. Definately not a garden its a tiny corner wth 2 chairs and some plants! Take Care! 😡😡 When we we went to their titchy reception he said he cannot do anything and we need to call reservation office! So we were trying to get a hold of them and called 6 times. Nobody answererd! We were willing to pay to be moved to a normal room they called back about 3 - 4 hours later saying they would see what they can do. Surprisingly within the same call they changed what they had initially said and said they can’t. The room was horrible and definately not 30 m2. At most 18-20m2. The room is clean but thats about it, all in all a TERRIBLE experience!!

The hotel is on high ground, so if you have luggage, I recommend taking a taxi directly. Also, bring a comfortable pair of walking shoes. The front desk staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast view is beautiful, with a clear sight of the Acropolis.

We had a bit of difficulty locating the hotel as there was no signboard. However, we were delighted to find it right in the centre of the shops. (For those who are new, it’s right next to the money changer). (See photo. It’s the black gate.)   The hotel is located just steps away from the metro station escalator, the Acropolis museum and the Acropolis as well! We stayed comfortably as there were 2 bedrooms with double beds. It actually fits 6 but we were only 4.  There’s a small kitchen equipped with microwave, fridge, cuttlery & utensils and a small bathroom,  We loved the gyros and souvlaki from the shop downstairs . We enjoyed walking to the neighbouring flea market as well and renting the scooter for faster transport.  We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Acropolis Heart.  For those who are fortunate enough to get available rooms, it is highly recommended 👍👍

Divani Caravel Hotel delivered a genuine 5-star experience right in the heart of Athens. The hotel is big, spacious, and elegant, offering a very comfortable and luxurious stay. I requested a special surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday at midnight, and the team organized everything perfectly exactly as expected. The attention to detail and care made the moment truly special. We also used the spa and enjoyed a massage, which was excellent and very relaxing. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of options, the staff were friendly and professional, and the small Christmas gift was a lovely and thoughtful touch. The location is excellent, with easy access to all major attractions. Overall, a classy hotel with outstanding service highly recommended for a special stay in Athens.

LOVED staying at this hotel and would stay again if I were visiting Athens again. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Harris (the manager I think, he was constantly on reception or at the bar area) we were warmly welcomed. We arrived around 11am (check in was supposed to be 3pm but he allowed us to check into our room immediately - and also upgraded us to a beautiful room with a massive balcony. The room was gorgeous and modern and had many lovely amenities including toothbrush and toothpaste sets and lovely bathroom toiletries. There was a fridge with bottled water and the room had air conditioning and the biggest walk-in shower ever. So luxurious and modern. We were also able to store our cases after a late check out. First of all, I would like to thank Mr. Vangelis for the front desk reception. I arrived late that night. I walked around the hotel several times and couldn't find a parking space. I temporarily parked at the door to check in. Vangelis was very amiable and received him warmly. He was worried that we would arrive late and asked for consultation. I asked for some drinks/snacks and gave me a large bottle of water. I learned that I couldn’t find a parking space by car and carefully told me how to find free parking and timing. I instantly felt warm and comfortable, forgetting about the fussy scrawling of Milan hotels, and my favorable impression of Athens doubled; Unfortunately, the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not respond. In the next few days, it was not possible to notify the front desk to repair it. The location of the hotel is quite good. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the entrance of the Acropolis and a few minutes to the nearby dining area. The breakfast is also good; the room has a balcony; and Swimming pool; overall highly recommended.

The hotel is an overall nice hotel in a very nice area, surrounded by quite a few good restaurants. The staff is amazing and always ready to help. However, the rooms have pretty old furniture, almost zero electricity plugs in the room (and the one next to my bed stopped working the second day).Ii would recommend putting a normal hairdryer in every room instead of the old wall-hairdryer that's in the bathroom, it is inconvenient to use (gets very hot) and it is very slow. 

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Küstenstraße in Alimos, mit wunderschönem Blick auf das Meer. Zwar trennt eine viel befahrene Straße das Hotel vom Strand, doch die gute Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel machte es einfach, sowohl das Zentrum Athens und  die Nahe Umgebung zu erreichen.   Das Zimmer war sauber und gut ausgestattet, mit einem kleinen Balkon, von dem aus ich den Sonnenuntergang über dem Meer genießen konnte.  Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Check-in und Check-out verliefen reibungslos.  Das Frühstücksbuffet war abwechslungsreich. Das Tropical Hotel ist eine gute Wahl für Reisende, die eine Unterkunft in Meeresnähe mit guter Verkehrsanbindung  suchen.
