We offer reasonable accommodation as a hub for traveling in Aso instead of offering large hot spring baths.
"Overall clean, nice, spacious room and staff service is good and we the special pillows ‘True sleeper’.
Only issue is that the room we stayed faces the main road and the windows are not sound-proofed. We could hear noises from vehicles driving passed in the night."

GGuest UserThe sauna is very comfortable, there are small crabs next to the cold spring pool, the air is clean, the water quality is sweet, the room is well maintained, we use washing machines and dryers, convenient and comfortable.

HHuangbenbendemamaThis inn was amazing! We even added an extra night. Our room had a view of Mount Aso, and dinner was a BBQ with Japanese side dishes. The innkeepers, a loving couple, were incredibly attentive and caring, especially considering we had a child. The four private hot springs, each with its own unique style, were fantastic. This small inn had everything you could need, with impeccable attention to detail and impeccable cleanliness. Even the slippers we wore each day were labeled with the guests' room names. Staying at the foot of Mount Aso allowed us to explore at a leisurely pace. With the extra day, we also visited Takachiho, ate Miyazaki beef, and enjoyed a great inn!

The best thing in the hotel is the horse and the four dogs. The service is also trying to do well. It's okay.

เเปรี้ยวไปเรื่อยIt was actually pretty good, not as bad as some of the Google Maps reviews suggest! Our triple room was huge; we could easily open three suitcases and still had a sofa area to relax. The room was clean, even the AC vents in the bathroom were dust-free. All the toiletries were provided. They have a karaoke room, a common lounge for reading, a gym, a ping-pong table, a walking track, and massage chairs. After dinner, I even went to burn off some calories by playing ping-pong. There's an onsen with a public bath and six private onsen rooms, all free and available all night without booking! The front desk staff were polite and friendly, and they communicated well in English. Even though there were three tour buses full of Thai and Korean tourists, it wasn't chaotic at all. For dinner, the all-you-can-eat crab wasn't huge, but it certainly wasn't tiny and meatless. And there was a wide selection of free alcoholic drinks, so it's probably a drinker's paradise!

SsatsumatableTo be expected in such a small town, the hotel is quite old and dated. The tatami room can accommodate four futons for a family of four, but there is almost no room left for anything else. The public onsen on 1F and roof are included with your stay. This hotel is great value for money if you know what a traditional Japanese onsen hotel is like.

GGuest UserThe rooms were spacious and offered fantastic mountain views. The bathtubs were large enough to stretch out in, which was great. A refrigerator was also provided.
The only downside is that the reception is located near the golf course and is difficult to find. The building where you stay is quite high up in the mountains. Allow about 15 minutes for the check-in process.
However, the view is excellent, offering stunning mountain scenery. There aren't many lights at night, so it's best to arrive early.
There was a bench with lights on below, which created a nice atmosphere.
Also, as a note of caution, most restaurants on the nearby main street were closed by 7 PM, so we bought our bento boxes from Hirai. If you're planning on having dinner, early check-in is recommended.
