Mountain View Hotels in Kutchan

This is by far one of the best hotels we've stayed at in our whole trip to Hokkaido. The location was unbeatable as it was right behind the Hirafu Welcome Center. It's also walkable to the quite a number of restaurants. Service was impeccable. They thought of everything, including providing guests with a shuttle to and from the KIng Gondola and many other key points within the town, and we could see its status and movement around town in real time. Our room was a two-bedroom unit, and it was really spacious with any and all kinds of amenities, including a washing machine, dish dryer, stove, microwave, etc... In particular, our unit was accessible to the ski slopes via a back door, and the view there was amazing. Just a few steps from the back door, we could already see the view of Mt. Yotei. The hotel also has a complimentary onsen (public and private options), which was a welcome treat after a day at the slopes. Breakfast had a lot of variety, so you can surely find something to your liking. All in all, we had a really great stay at Skye Niseko, and we willl definitely come back here the next time we're in Niseko.

My experience at The Terrace Niseko was outstanding! The property is stunning, with spacious, modern apartments offering breathtaking views of the mountains. Everything was impeccably clean, and the amenities were top-notch, perfect for a relaxing getaway . What truly made my stay unforgettable was the exceptional staff. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, from assisting with ski rentals and transportation to providing great local recommendations. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made me feel genuinely welcome. I highly recommend The Terrace Niseko for anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and world-class service in Niseko. Can't wait to return!

I spent a pleasant end of the year in Chalet Ivy Weiss, everything was fine, the bed and meals were good, the hot springs were comfortable, my staff was also very enthusiastic, and I also helped to set the car to arrive and leave the hotel. I will stay in skiing next time.

Wonderful ski in/ski out location. Lovely family accommodation with everything you need. Close to convenience store and restaurants. Sunday was extremely helpful and transported us to the local train station at the end of our stay. Gustav was very helpful via email but the resort was uncontactable on arrival to arrange hotel transfer from the bus drop-off (reception phone switched to after hours message). Also could not get a taxi (none available on the app) so had to walk up the hill dragging luggage. That was our only complaint.

A very comfortable and clean apartment with amazing views and in a great location. The apartment had a well equipped kitchen, with plenty of space to relax with friends on our nights in. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly and proximity to Yama Sports was very convenient. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is new and clean. The room is small. I had no place to put my two big suitcases. It is like the Four Seasons Hotel in China. But the price is 15 times that of the same level in China. It is really expensive. With this budget, I can live in the most luxurious hotel in China. The room is like an apartment with a simple kitchen and no daily cleaning service. Check out at 10 am, but check in at 3 pm.

Right at the centre of Hirafu - you have to walk a bit upslope to the ski lifts. Check in is at another building / hotel so beware if you're not driving. The space is well equipped with a full kitchen and washing machine, as well as heaters. There is also a ski locker on the ground floorwhere you can pit your ski equipment. However we noticed a smell of fresh renovating works once we entered the room - though we're not sure where that came from. If you're driving, beware they only have 2 parking spaces in front of the building which are not designated for guests. So if someone else parked that space, you have to find somewhere where you're not considered a hassle. Note you are not supposed to park behind the building nor the space next to the 2 parking spaces.

Hinzan was amazing for our ski vacation in Niseko! The location is super central, but they also have a shuttle that can take you to the lifts and around Hirafu so you don't have to walk with your gear. There were ski lockers and a room in the lobby with boot warmers. The in-room washer/dryer was also very convenient. While the front desk times were limited, they were very flexible about arranging for staff to stay late/come early for check in and check out. All the staff were amazing, going out of their way to make sure we had a good stay! Would definitely stay here again!

Room is very modern and has plenty of amenities, including a private bath and toilet. Bed was comfortable. WiFi and heating worked well. This is a self-service accommodation. No reception or staff onsite. They’ll send you a code for the lockbox that the room key is in. The resort condo is attached to the office for the RV Park that shares the parking lot. They seem to be used to people coming in there to check in. Location is not very central. About a 15-20 minute walk to restaurants.

The room is beautiful and perfect for spending time with friends.
