The breakfast was excellent: incredibly generous, varied, with a huge selection, and every item was refined. The hotel staff are simply amazing, always attentive and professional. Housekeeping was impeccable every day. I was even pleasantly surprised to return from an excursion to find my room spotless, with my clothes neatly folded. This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at, if not *the* best! I will definitely return on my next trip to Oman. I highly recommend this establishment: it was faultless from start to finish, and heaven knows how demanding I can be.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended I had a wonderful stay at InterContinental Muscat Hotel from 21st to 23rd January. From the moment we arrived, the experience was smooth and pleasant. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the hotel has a very nice, welcoming scent throughout the lobby and common areas. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the bathroom was spotless. The pool area is great, with different depths (1.1 m and 1.3 m), plus a dedicated kids’ pool around 30 cm, which makes it ideal for families as well. One of the highlights is the direct access to Qurm Beach, which is a big plus. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good buffet selection, and the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Overall, a great stay and a classic, reliable 5-star experience in Muscat. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay again.

Excellent location, many restaurants Shisha bar nearby, also is in the middle of everything. To all attraction everything is within 30 minutes taxi including airport. If you want to do boat trip or see activity, maybe it’s better to leave closer to the port. Before us the extra 20 minutes on a taxi is not a problem. Very clean, very spacious, providing quiet luxury vibe. Breakfast is a little bit smaller selection than I expected, but the food quantity is good. The room is very spacious and comfortable layout, the best bed I’ve ever slept on in any luxury hotel. Only problem I had was in the room, they might need to do some quality checks, a lot of appliances does not work, for example the steamer didn’t Work, need the time to change it, also scale doesn’t work, it doesn’t read a matter for me but everything adds up just a small little disappointment. On the first night, there’s some really loud noises from the air-conditioning throughout the whole night, raise this in the morning, second day afternoon already fixed it. It was a quick fixing, but I would have expected the room wouldn’t have such noises when I check in. The spa is amazing!! highly recommended to do at least two hours treatment, this is definitely one of the best spa experience in any hotel. Servicing overall is very good, specially the room cleaning stuff super friendly, the ladies in the spa also very nice, everyone on the servicing are super friendly, helpful. Just a front desk reception with a little bit of colder attitude. Facility wise is enough, good size pool not the biggest but is enough. Unlike most of the luxury hotel,This MO hasn’t got their own private beach, it’s a beachfront property, however they have a small sessions on the beach with hotels own beach chair for the guest. Is not a usual larger luxury resort, only 150 rooms, I will say the facility is okay but I would expect a little bit more. Also, there is no information to pre-book any activities or any special activities going on in the hotel unless you ask. Pool size service m may be need a little bit of improvement. The stuff is very nice to lay down the towel the moment you reached the pool or the beach area. But this level of hotel should automatically bring some water, ice bucket, or sunscreen available to the seat. They are sunscreen only laying around at certain spot and you need to stand and use it. Overall experience has been amazing, also it is top three best and luxurious hotel in muscat. But for this price everyone will expect a little bit more. I’d definitely rate 8.5/10 of the 3 days stay here.

The hotel arranged a taxi for me, but it was much more expensive compared to the one I took from the airport. I also found the food prices to be quite high. Overall, the stay was fine, but I felt that the transportation and dining charges could be more reasonable.

This is a typical transit hotel. They wouldn't accommodate us and only allowed check-in at exactly 2:00 PM, even though our flight was in the morning. The room has all the necessary amenities to comfortably wait for a layover. I'd recommend basing your decision on the price; there are four hotels of similar quality in the vicinity.

The apartment suites are basic, the furnitureis ancient, photos are much deceiving. There was a constant smell in the upper floors especially on our 4th floor, stinky fish smell as soon as you stepped out of the lift. On the last 2 days of our stay only one lift was operational and the 2nd was stationed on 5th floor. The pool is basic and with heat, kids pool needs partial shade.

Not far from the airport, about a 10-minute drive. There's a large parking lot at the entrance with plenty of spaces. The room was incredibly spacious, even with an extra bed, it still felt very open. The air conditioning, a Gree unit, was excellent and cooled the room down quickly. About a 10-minute walk (700 meters) from the hotel, there are many restaurants, including a fantastic Turkish kebab place that you can easily find on Dianping (Chinese Yelp). There's also a big supermarket nearby where you can buy things at good prices, including many Chinese-made products. However, you'll need to cross the road a few times, and the traffic can be fast, so be careful. The price was very reasonable. I recommend staying here.

I felt it was worth the price. The facilities were reasonably clean, so I was satisfied, and the staff were generally nice, so it was fine. However, there were three things that bothered me. 1. I stayed for two nights, and neither night were there any towels provided, so I had to ask them to bring them each time. I was surprised as this was the first time that towels had been left behind two nights in a row. 2. The bathroom had a slight sewage smell, which bothered me. 3. I had signed up for a tour, and was meeting someone in the lobby, where I was approached by someone pretending to be from a tour company. I eventually realized it was a fake, but the woman at the front desk had seen the whole thing (and even talked to me), and instead of scolding me, she continued to talk to me in a friendly manner. The way I was approached was ”Are you signing up for a tour?” When I answered ”Yes,” the scammer asked me, ”Are you going to Nizwa? I'm the tour driver. How much is the tour?” Even though I said I had already paid, the scammer asked me how much it cost and insisted on taking me there. Please be careful if you are staying here.

Arrived at the hotel at 5 am for a transit period for next flight. Checked out at 12 noon. The distance fro. The airport was a 15 min ride in a taxi. Used airport taxi and only cost 8 dirams. Check in was fast and team at reception were polite and expedient. Opted for 2 single beds. Checkout was smooth. Managed to get some sleep and a shower. Very clean and tidy. Basic room facility but jist what i needed for my transit. Would use again.
