Guest UserThe room was comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent. The blackout curtains were a real highlight. Parking is free. The breakfast spread was quite good, and the staff were all very friendly. We stayed for three days. It's very close to both the airport and the mosque. There's a gas station right outside.

Ellie OrtonI enjoyed my stay, the staff made it very easy and were accommodating.
I do reccomend management replace the washing machine and dryers as the condition is poor.
Also, someone charged hotel items to my room. Perhaps verifying the person would solve this issue.

XuxuPros: The room was stylish and the kitchen was fully equipped. There's a supermarket about 100-200 meters to the right of the hotel entrance. It's also quite close to the Grand Mosque. Getting to the hotel from the airport by A1 bus was a bit tricky with Google Maps, as the walk from the stop was a little绕 (long/indirect).
Cons: The room had a strong perfume scent, which, to a Chinese person, would definitely feel like the smell of poor-quality renovation materials (I recommend they stop spraying perfume). The shower water temperature was inconsistent – sometimes good, sometimes not hot at all. Also, the water pressure in the sink was very low.

A solid stay that lives up to Novotel standards. The staff were very nice, check‑in was smooth, and they helped with my suitcase and getting settled in the room. The room itself was clean and comfortable.
The location is convenient — about 10 minutes by taxi to the airport, which was perfect as I had a very early flight. Check‑out was fast, and the staff helped book a taxi for 8 OMR. It’s more expensive than using OTAXI, the local taxi app, but expected for hotel-arranged transport.
I also had dinner at the hotel, which was good, though priced at a premium compared to outside — again, normal for hotels.
Overall, a very good stay and I recommend it.

This hotel offers incredible value for money! From the polite and friendly male staff in hats and robes at the front desk, to the equally courteous boys in shirts and trousers in the restaurant and guest rooms, everyone was wonderful. The hotel is quite close to the airport, so you do see planes flying overhead occasionally, but overall, it's surprisingly quiet. I was even given a free upgrade to a partial sea-view room. We had dinner at the hotel, and their seafood paella or fish rice (the fish rice was slightly spicy) was absolutely delicious and huge! It was packed with large shrimp and fresh, boneless chunks of fish. The rice grains felt two or three times longer than regular rice! When we checked out, I asked the front desk to help me call an Uber, which ended up being so much cheaper! Thank you!

The hotel's location is great, but the service was a bit slow. Parking is available in the B2 underground garage, but there's no direct elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up one floor, which is quite inconvenient. Breakfast on the M floor was just okay; the fruit selection was poor – overripe watermelon, very sour pomelo, and decent cantaloupe. Room cleanliness was subpar, with noticeable black stains on the pillowcase. The bathtub drain was clogged, so I had to turn off the water frequently while showering to let it drain.

Guest UserThis hotel is located downtown and is quite close to the airport. However, the main road doesn't lead directly to it; you have to take a detour through a smaller street. There's ample parking right at the entrance. We arrived in the early morning and checked in quickly. The room was well-equipped, and the service was good; they even gave us a high-floor room. Breakfast was plentiful and very satisfying. Overall, it's a very decent and well-run hotel.

Room and bed are comfy. Breakfast is great, nice to experience Arabian food. Hotel is located in centre of Muscat near Ruwi bus station where you could get the bus no. 4 for visiting Mutrah Fort and market, or bus no. 1 or A1 to visit Sultan Qaboos Grand Moque, which is located along the way back to airport.

I really enjoyed staying here.
My room was spacious & clean.
Great facilities- teas, coffee, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, bottled water etc replenished daily.
Bed was big and comfy.
Great location- 5-10min walk to cafes/restaurants (some local shops next to the car park).
I relaxed around the pool everyday in the winter sun. Just what I needed.
Staff were friendly.
Breakfast -had a huge variety, cereal, cold meats, cheeses, omletes, pastries, etc
I would recommend this hotel (&would stay here again).
I stayed here from Boxing Day to New year's Eve- they had a decorated an Xmas tree inside & outside the hotel, how fabulous! 😊 Great effort.
I ate/drank at the Irish pub, it was nice enough (typical English food lol)
I'm a female solo traveller i never felt unsafe here, in fact, I was looked after, from going out in the evenings to catching a Yango. Thank you Muscat, Oman 😊
Superb stay

I felt it was worth the price.
The facilities were reasonably clean, so I was satisfied, and the staff were generally nice, so it was fine.
However, there were three things that bothered me.
1. I stayed for two nights, and neither night were there any towels provided, so I had to ask them to bring them each time.
I was surprised as this was the first time that towels had been left behind two nights in a row.
2. The bathroom had a slight sewage smell, which bothered me.
3. I had signed up for a tour, and was meeting someone in the lobby, where I was approached by someone pretending to be from a tour company. I eventually realized it was a fake, but the woman at the front desk had seen the whole thing (and even talked to me), and instead of scolding me, she continued to talk to me in a friendly manner.
The way I was approached was
”Are you signing up for a tour?”
When I answered ”Yes,” the scammer asked me,
”Are you going to Nizwa? I'm the tour driver. How much is the tour?”
Even though I said I had already paid, the scammer asked me how much it cost and insisted on taking me there.
Please be careful if you are staying here.
