Mountain View Hotels in Hat Yai

This is my second stay here, and I'm still impressed. The room, a condo-style unit, is fully equipped the moment you step in. It's spacious and clean, perfect for families – you really feel at home. There's no gym or pool, but the room itself is excellent. It's located directly opposite Hat Yai Technical College and close to Hat Yai Village.

Clean and the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom's wet and dry areas weren't well-separated. Overall, though, it's okay and good value for money. It's a bit tucked away.

The location is great, right next to the Greenway, and you can walk straight to Central Festival. However, parking is limited if you're driving, and you'll need to make a U-turn. This road section tends to be quite congested. This feels like a family-run hotel. An 80-something-year-old lady checked us in. The service was excellent and friendly. I booked the hotel just 5 minutes before arriving, and even though the system couldn't find my reservation, I was still able to check in smoothly. The room was clean, had a large fridge, a hairdryer, shampoo, and soap. For this price and location, it's highly recommended.

I stayed at Subanan Resident in Hatyai and had a really good experience overall. The cleanliness is the first thing that stood out — the place is spotless, probably one of the cleanest I’ve stayed at in this price range. The service was also impressive. When I had an issue with the WiFi, I just gave them a call and the staff personally came over to hand me the code face-to-face. Check-in and check-out were both quick and smooth. Even on my first visit, the parking service was clear and well-organised, which made things easier. Location-wise, it’s not in the busy tourist area, which I actually liked. It’s surrounded by local houses, so the vibe is calmer and more relaxing. Within walking distance (about 4 minutes) there’s a Big C Mini, and a 7-Eleven about 7 minutes away. It’s a nice balance — not too far from convenience, but away from the tourist crowds and heat. As for amenities, they’re average. One of the rooms came with a Netflix account, while another didn’t, which was a bit inconsistent. Also, setting it up wasn’t the most straightforward — you need to switch between the TV remote and the Xiaomi box remote, which takes a little figuring out. Overall, if you value cleanliness, friendly service, and a calm local atmosphere over being in the middle of the tourist spots, Subanan Resident is a solid choice. Btw the coffee n tea pastries is just a cupcake and milo powder

The hotel's location is a bit far from the train station, commercial area, and night market, so it might not be convenient for everyone to walk back and forth. However, you can easily walk to the nearby Green Road Night Market to explore and grab a bite. The room is spacious, but the downside is that I had to re-enter the Wi-Fi username and password whenever I was offline for a while, which was quite inconvenient.

My stay at TonAoi Grand Hotel was unfortunately disappointing due to several maintenance issues in the room. Upon check-in, I discovered that both the room door indicator light and the toilet light were not working. I reported the problems and requested a room change, but the reception informed me that the hotel was fully booked and no alternative room was available. The maintenance team came promptly to inspect the issues. While they managed to repair the toilet light, they were unable to fix the door light. Later, I also found that the hair dryer was faulty and could not be used at all. In addition, the air conditioning was not performing well. Even when set to the maximum cooling level, the room never became sufficiently cold, making the stay less comfortable than expected. I appreciate the responsiveness of the maintenance team and the staff's efforts to assist. However, it was frustrating to encounter multiple equipment failures in the same room. I hope the hotel will improve its maintenance checks and room inspections to ensure all facilities are in proper working condition before guests arrive.

This hotel is ok with the price , I can see it is well maintained . Even they had gone through the largest flood disaster last year . I chose not to haveng breakfast with my stay here because there are many good foods surrounding 😅 . I hope you do all the best , fighting ....🤟

Although the hotel has a long history, the rooms are clean and hygienic, the front desk staff are very friendly, and there are many places to eat nearby. It's just a bit far to walk to the city center!

The view are nice, the staff are friendly, send us up and down from the mountain. But after sunrise not suitable to stay in room, cause very hot.
