Perfect hotel for a family stay. All the staff are adorable and at your service. The children are under the care of TATA and mouna, you can rest assured. I highly recommend it to all visitors.

I did a search on your site for 2 adults and 2 children. I was offered 2 rooms one adult and one child in each room. When I got there, I was told that it wasn't possible and I had to add money 😕

We booked to return again before the holiday had even ended! The staff are fantastic and key to the success of Le Sultan. It’s a bit rough around the edges in places but generally a lovely hotel. We had an odd start as when we arrived in our room (269) there was a painter refreshing it and the main bed was not made up. We assumed it was a mistake and so expected to move but instead they chased out the painter and said room service would do the main bed in 5 minutes. To be fair, they did. We debated asking for a move but we were tired and figured that once we were back from the pool the paint would have dried. Which it had. It wasn’t toxic and so we just chose to remain. The room was otherwise beautiful. Bathroom shower leaked because the screen was too far forward from the edge of the shower but we found a solution in a rolled up towel. Good powerful shower and no complaint. My only real complaint about the room was the bed creaked terribly when you moved at all. Woke us up a few of times. But again, not a deal breaker. As a family room it was great. Kids loved it. Comfy beds and loads of space. The hotel in general is very clean and lovely to look at. Outdoor lounging is gorgeous at night. The entertainment team work really hard - all the staff do - and some of the entertainment is really excellent. The dancers are wonderful and the New Year Gala dinner was a spectacle. Food - if you come here and say you can’t find food to eat then the issue is you!! The food is excellent - fresh, varied and really tasty. We miss it already! Mix of Tunisian, European, Asian and Italian. Fresh salads, bread and pasta at all lunches and dinners so no problem feeding the kids. The desserts are sweet and fresh and the fruit is gorgeous, with a selection of gelato that the kids loved helping themselves to. The staff here work very very hard and deserve to be tipped. It is the culture here to do so and we tipped between 5 and 10 dinar frequently. (Google Tunisian minimum wage for a uk comparison and you will not begrudge rewarding their work!!!) If I had one recommendation that would make a marked difference it is that the waiters should carry a cloth with them and wipe down the tables more often. Especially around the pool edge. They collect and deliver glasses but there is no wipe down that we could see and the tables were often dirty. This would make a real difference. We will be returning in 27th December 2024 and already can’t wait!

Well, my last holiday was 26 years ago. This was my first in all that time and at 48 my first solo trip!!! To Tunisia!! The hotel is simply divine! Right in front of the beach!! There are staff at the beach, ready to equip you wuth body boarding, kayaks, wind surfing, pedalo boats, catamaran, snorkeling and diving! Clean room - spotless in fact, lovely housekeeping ladies, hospitable in every way, food amazing, so much choice!!! Ideal for solo travelers. I felt safe there. Actually made friends from Prague and Paris which I'll be visiting soon! Loved it so much, I will be returning in Feb (I fell in love with the country and do not care how cooler it is at that time of the year) and ill be returning in March also.

My stay at Le sultan Hotel was absolutely remarkable! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and professional staff. The room was impeccable, spacious, and elegantly decorated, offering a stunning view of the city. Room service was prompt and efficient, and the breakfast buffet was delicious, featuring a wide variety of fresh and tasty dishes. Additionally, the facilities such as the pool and spa were immaculate and allowed me to completely unwind. Without a doubt, I highly recommend Le sultan Hotel to anyone seeking an exceptional stay experience.

Definitely more a 3 star hotel. Our ‘superior’ room is nothing more than I’d expect from a hotel. Fridge never cold, water never restocked (you have to ask at the bar). Have to give room number each time a drink (including water) was ordered - no idea why as we were AI! As a woman I struggled at the bar, after ordering my husband had to go back up after 10-15 mins & reorder, the drinks then appeared straight away. AI cocktails tiny, those that pay get a decent size glass. Food ok, much better when hotel was full of Tunisians at the weekend. Once they left it returned to average food. As with lots of AI hotels food often lukewarm. Most staff very friendly. Hotel at best 1/3 full - very quiet. Pool still freezing cold. Never saw anyone in speciality evening restaurant so we didn’t book there but we ate in the Mediterranean lunchtime restaurant which was very nice - you have to book both 24 hrs ahead. Evening entertainment what you’d expect. All in all a relaxing break but not somewhere we’d go back to.

It was our first time in Tunisia - so I chose Le sultan on the amazing reviews it had . We did have a relaxing holiday & we enjoyed to the best we could but I wouldn’t go back . We travelled in October for half term and the weather was amazing - even the unheated outdoor pool was warm enough to swim every day . The views were beautiful and the vibe is relaxing - the private area of beach is lovely . October was a good time to visit as we always could find a sunbed & never an issue with this . The staff all work so hard & on the whole really friendly- to get good service though you do need to tip a lot which I understand as the wages are so low, but I often saw individuals getting better attention especially drinks served to round the pool - when I asked for it I was told to go to the bar and order - where as people next to us said just tip every time and you get the best service . We found the hotel rooms and hallways are run down they need updating especially the bathrooms but then you don’t spend a lot of time in your room - the best rooms are sea view otherwise you are facing car / park back of hotel. I complained quite a few times when using the hotels toilets in the hotel and outside by the pool always dirty & never cleaned properly and never any soap in the dispensers - I spoke to one of the cleaners one day showing her the dispensers were empty ( bare in mind this is the closest bathroom to the food hall ) she proceeded to spray my hands with the cleaner she was spraying the sinks with, I couldn’t believe it . She said “soap gone more come tomorrow” ! The restaurant is unfortunately like a large noisy canteen and for us wasn’t a nice experience- it was like feeding time at the zoo - you spent a lot of time wandering to find plates / cutlery. The staff tried their best but it was just so busy ( & this wasn’t peak season ) we always tried to eat outside but you had to pick your time wisely each night time to get a table and makesure you tipped your waiter so he then prepares for you each night . The food was good on the whole especially the fresh grilled fish but it did became boring as very similar every day - I was looking forward to some great Tunisian dishes but they mostly lacked flavour & seasoning . Some areas were never refreshed so if you arrived later when quieter 7:30/8 you missed out on areas of the food & the salad bar particularly never seemed fresh it was always dried out & looked like it had been out too long . Also dessert bar always raided & very untidy with bits of dessert flung around the area. The animation team tried their best & we joined in day activities but unfortunately the evening entertainment was not great - it’s held in a separate area to the hotel & not much is advertised about it - unfortunately the shows were prob the worst we’ve seen on holiday- I’m not sure if this was because of being out of season or a general thing , but always ended early & literally not much else to do . My daughter did go t

It is a really nice hotel can't recommend more, the staff are really friendly, it's clean and very spacious meaning it's not crowded. The pool is a good size and the beach is only 1 minute from the pool not even. The sea is so warm, warmer than the pool and its crystal clear The food was really nice and each night had a themed night with different cuisines. There are two a la carte restaurants: mediterranean and Japanese in the buffet the staff remember your drinks orders and where you sit each night. Loads of places to lounge, entertainment every night and all inclusive hotel catamaran. The staff were amazing, giving us guides on how much taxis should cost as taxis in towns will try to ask for more. They also make you aware of scams. Faultless, definitely coming again (If there's a man selling cigarettes, towels or fruit on the beach ignore them as they are not hotel staff and shouldn't be there)
