Looking out the room window or the front door, a person can see 0 ( zero ) trees. There is a lot of construction going on outside, and the sidewalks are uneven, torn up in places and occasionally blocked. The area is safe, but not representative of the city of Nanjing.
Although reassured by staff prior to checking in, the room did in fact smell of cigarette smoke.
I’ve stayed in other locations of this hotel and experienced a much higher standard of facility.
The staff were very pleasant, and the breakfast was excellent.
About half of the rooms have windows which look out onto a corridor that is carpeted with fake grass and has a fake sky. No fresh air.

All the washing machines and dryers in the hotel are broken. This hotel has no laundry room! I went there on the first day and prepared to dry for half an hour. The auntie watched every day for fear that she was using their electricity! I passed by 5 minutes later and found that someone had already taken out my clothes! I was not allowed to use the dryer! I was too lazy to use it and came back to dry it with the air conditioner.
On the third day, it was outrageous! I asked for help to dry my hand-washed clothes! At home and other hotels, they all dried for 30 minutes! They said that after 60 minutes, it was only 65% dry! It was still damp. They didn't continue to dry it for me!
I was going to wear it at night. I couldn't wear it at all! It takes at least three hours to dry a piece of clothing! The garbage dryer. How about canceling the laundry room? ?
