The key and only reason I booked this place was because of the cats - Jiu Yue and Xiao Du. These babies are extremely adorable. Well apart from the cats, the place is quite charming. The hotel is located in a quiet corner, just across Laomendong and a short walk to the Grand Baoen temple. I would love to stay here again 🥰

Excellent stay in downtown Nanjing. Can't go wrong with this hotel!
Great service and facilities. Room is equipped with smart toilet and Nespresso machine. Laundry area & gym at the topmost floor. Free drinks and snacks with bottled water in the room and lobby area.
Breakfast is good. Plenty of restaurants and convenience stores within the vicinity.
Would definitely stay here again, whether in Nanjing or in other cities.

I stayed in a twin-bed room for two nights in late December. The hotel is very clean, lobby is tastefully decorated and classy, location is convenient as it is just next to a shopping mall, and with many eateries in the vicinity. The room is big and spacious (no smoke smell) and I enjoyed the little details like electric window blinds and clothes line in the bathroom. Reception and housekeeping staff are very friendly and courteous with fast service levels. Concierge staff are knowledgeable and able to provide accurate information on various tourist attractions.

The second hotel to complain about
The air-conditioning outlet was full of dust. As long as there was a big movement in the room, the dust would fly all over the sky like snowflakes. The front desk arranged to clean the air outlet and provided a negative ion air purifier, but it still couldn't solve the dust visible to the naked eye. The worst thing was that the room was not cleaned properly, the bed was not made, there was a large puddle of water behind the wash basin, and tea bags were not provided every day. The wash basin drain was leaking and was not dealt with.
The biggest problem was that when I checked in to another room for my daughter, the front desk said that her room did not include breakfast, so she ordered takeout on the first morning, and only found out on the second morning that it was included in the breakfast. When we checked out, we raised the issue of not giving the first breakfast again, and the front desk waiter paid ¥20 out of his own pocket to compensate my daughter. It's not a matter of money, it's a matter of principle.
The instant water heater in the room can get as hot as 99 degrees, and you can't use tap water, only bottled water, which is not very environmentally friendly.
The hotel is close to Yuhuamen subway station, but there are no supporting facilities around and no place to go.

Nice hotel in a convenient location (basically right next to 夫子庙) and a really nice bridge that's on a lot of online itinerary recommendations。 However, there were weird yellow and red stains on the towel with someone's maroon hair (I have black hair). I even threw the towel on the floor before housekeeping came to try to get a new one but even the newly rolled up one had a yellow splotch in it.

There is a one-way, single-lane road in front, so there is little traffic. It is quiet at night.
The building and facilities are brand new and kept clean. The keys are card keys. Two complimentary plastic bottles of water are provided every day. Toothbrushes and slippers are provided.
Language support is only available in Chinese, but Japanese is available via smartphone translation.
The nearest bus stop is Zhonghuamen, a one-minute walk away. However, the nearest subway station, Wudingmen Station, is a 15-minute walk away.
The staff were happy to help with any quick questions we had.

Absolutely fabulous hotel for our family of 5. We had two rooms next to each other and the amenities were great with good room size with space for luggage and a place to sit. The staff were the highlight of our stay and it makes all the difference, they were gracious and polite and friendly and despite my very poor Mandarin attempts, they were always helpful with no eye rolls or patronizing tones. All the front desk staff were amazing from helping us to order late suppers to organizing some medicine for our sick child. The location was perfect for a morning stroll by the canal and close to one of the main gate wall. Highly recommended and we would come and stay again.

Hotel Review: Manxin Hotel, Nanjing
My stay at the Manxin Hotel in Nanjing was average overall. While the room was generally fine, there were some noticeable issues. The walls in my room showed damage from moisture, which detracted from the appearance and comfort. Additionally, the bathroom had an unpleasant smell from the unclean drain, and some basic supplies were not replenished during my stay.
On a more positive note, the rest of the experience was satisfactory. The breakfast was decent and provided a good start to the day. Despite the drawbacks, the hotel has potential with some improvements to maintenance and housekeeping.
Definitely worth mentioning is the great location in Nanjing.

Great location close to both bus and metro options, with a large selection of restaurants nearby. Amazing service and very accommodating with late check in and even some snacks. Highly recommended!

Facilities: It can be seen that the decoration style is from the 2010s. Everything is good. The only thing is that the toilet is not very good, the water flow is slow, and it is blocked. Fortunately, the aunt and the master are very good and fixed it in two or three times. Everything else is good! Very comfortable to live!
Environment: It is a certain distance from the subway station, close to residential houses, elementary schools, and universities, and very quiet. There is a Swiss* coffee shop opposite the hotel, which is quite big. Other shops are very small and I didn't pay attention to them. Turn left when you go out and you will see the Ming City Wall. You have to wait a little longer to get a taxi in the early morning.

GGuest UserThis might be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The service was impeccable, the hotel was beautiful, and the location was great. It was extremely clean and spacious and they were kind enough to give me a free upgrade. It’s in a prime but secluded part of Nanjing. I felt so at peace. The bed was comfortable, they had a very fancy coffee machine in the room, I had a beautiful balcony overlooking the river, and even a tea corner. I plan to have my family stay here when they come to town. Cannot recommend a better hotel.

GGuest UserThe rich tomb can be walked for a walk, and Laomen-dong (Nomun-dong) and Zhonghuamen are far from walking and ambiguous to get on the car. Diddy can't catch it when I go to the two places. From the hotel to the entrance 900-1500m, you have to walk more to see it.
The subway station has to walk more than 600 meters.
I went on a shared bike, except for the rich tomb.
The rooms are clean and it's been a few years since it was built and it feels new.
There is noise between walls and corridors, so you can wake up the sound of people going out in the morning. I recommend ear plugs.
Breakfast is cheap, so think about eating bread, eggs, porridge, coffee and juice like McMorning and apply. Anyway, I'm going to wake up because of the noise in the morning corridor.
I think I'll find a home in plus hotel series first wherever I go in China. The price is so good.
No bathtub, no refrigerator in the room.
There are convenience stores, massage shops nearby.
Most of them are non-smoking rooms, but sometimes there were people smoking in the rooms.

GGuest UserThe room was clean and comfortable. The transportation to this store is very convenient and convenient, especially the subway is 5 minutes to enter the station, and it is very convenient to transfer to various attractions. The waiter at the front desk smiled, warm, patient, and the service was very thoughtful. It was really warm at home. Especially the waiter named Li patiently and meticulously suggested the attractions and routes and ways of driving for the occupants to go out, and the safety of the travel, etc. This dedication and service spirit is worthy of praise and praise! In the future, friends and family will definitely stay at this hotel in Nanjing.

CCinderella 888It is a quiet community, the environment is quiet, close to the subway station, whether it is by subway or taxi, it is very convenient to travel.
This homestay has the same feeling as home, there is a small dew, you can dry clothes.
The two rooms, living room and bathroom are simple and hygienic.
Open kitchen, if you can add more tableware will be better.
The landlord is very nice, very caring, and the response is very fast.
GGuest UserPlaying with my girlfriend Nanjing, I have been on the strategy for a long time. I chose to stay at Daming Palace Home Inn. This location is more convenient than Xinjiekou. There are scenic spots around the Presidential Palace. It is especially convenient to go to Zhongshan Scenic Area or Confucius Temple.
The hotel is very clean, the decoration is new, and there will be no low-end feeling of old decoration.
Mirrors and light strips, lighting is very good
I hung up the do-not-disturb sign, and the store intimately hung the towel and dental appliances that needed to be replaced on the handle outside the door. It was really special details and I liked it very much.
Before leaving, I left the luggage at the front desk. The front desk service was also very meticulous and professional. I would choose this store when I came to Nanjing.

GGuest UserI am Korean and stayed in this hotel for three nights. The first night was a bit uncomfortable due to the noise, but after reporting it to the boss, he upgraded the room for me for free, and I lived very comfortably from the second night onwards. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean, the bed is also spacious and tidy, very satisfied. The boss is very warm and friendly. Whenever there are questions or help is needed, he will handle it promptly. However, the room smelled a bit like cigarette smoke, which was a little disappointing. Many hotels now offer non-smoking rooms, but this hotel allows indoor smoking, which should be a big advantage for smokers. The transportation is also very convenient. Although you can use the subway, the bus station is closer to the hotel and it is more convenient to take the bus. Overall, I am very satisfied with the warm service and spacious and clean facilities.
