Nanjing Qinhuai District Hotels

The location is super convenient, not far from any major tourist destination. There are mnay restsurants and cinemas and shopping crntres nearby. The service is also very good, with free flowing drinkings for everyone to enjoy on the first floor. The only shortcoming is the space of the room is a bit tight. Overall, it feels very comfortable to stay in.

I asked the hotel to get a non-smoking room. The hotel staff was so friendly and helped me with my wish. A big plus point is that the hotel staff can speak english very well. I can only recommend to stay here at Tiafeng Hotel, especially as a foreigner. The location is great. Breakfast was amazing and the room clean and with a good smell! The hotel's location is perfect, right by the Qinhuai River and very close to Fuzimiao Metro Station. It's a mere three-minute walk from the station to the hotel, and just four minutes to reach the scenic area itself. Despite being right at the entrance, it was surprisingly quiet at night, ensuring a good sleep. One of the best aspects was being able to pop back to the hotel for a quick rest when we got tired from exploring, and then enjoy the beautiful night views of the Qinhuai River in the evening. From this location, all major attractions are easily accessible via the metro. The young lady at the front desk was also very polite and helpful. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

My wife had booked a hotel nearby this one, but the rooms were only 16m2 to 20m2. This is way too small, and they were expensive. Then I found the Hotel V and the rooms were cheaper, but much larger. My room was 45m2, and it came with a den area in a Japanese style setting. We have 2 kids, so they went directly into that area and never left. Both kids did their homework there and played there. This left the main room for the adults. The staff were exceptionally friendly and incredibly helpful, and most of all polite. There is spacious underground parking that was clean and not old, dusty, and smelly. The location is great, in a food plaza, directly across from Starbucks and near two subway lines. I used the subway to travel to and from Nanjing South Railway Station. No taxis needed. The cost of the hotel room was very reasonable, rather awesome for the type of room I had. This is a 5-star, even if it is not a 5-star!

The hotel location was close to Xinjiekou and between 2 Metro stations. Joyce helped us check in and was very helpful during our stay and tried to make our stay as pleasant as can be. She even helped move us to a room with a street view as our original room faced another building. Some improvements can be made by the hotel management: 1. Lobby can be made more attractive. It's outdated and not really welcoming. 2. The food display had barely anything displayed. There was even a plant that needed watering. 3. I found the coffee machine needing some TLC and the water dispenser nearby. 4. The chef can be more pleasant. 5. The space outside the hotel can be cleaned up, the planter boxes are in disarray and even have withered plants. Even the chairs and tables outside can do some TLC. 6. The cleaning lady accidentally took our small pillow even on the first day she properly placed it on the bed after fixing our bed. The good thing is that the bedsheets were still waiting to be picked up, and they were able to recover the pillow. If it were not for the warmth of the rest of the hotel staff, it would be hard to recommend staying here. I hope Hyatt Management does more to take care of the hotel property because your staff can only do so much. We booked this hotel because of the high rating, and we were disappointed, to say the least.

The hotel room is dated, requested for non-smoking room but was given smoking room; need to air the room on the first night to get rid of the smole smell the room paid for with breakfast, but on the last day we had to check out early morning; we requested for to maybe change to a welcome drink or fruits baasket, the front desk gave no response and after 2 days of the low quality breakfast, we lost interest in pursuing the matter. comparing this international brand hotel with the other local brands hotel of similar star ratings, the local brands hotels are newer with better facilities and most friendly staffs; and much better breakfast spread The hotel is located conveniently to a subway station

The pool and gym are an outside company fitness center that guest can use. No respect for lane swimming - although plenty of room parents and kids, they blocked the outside lane where 4 swimmers were doing laps. The gym was packed and unavailable to use. I was looking forward to doing a few laps and relaxing and my partner was looking forward to the gym. The main reason we booked this hotel. The coffee was disgusting!!! Even through it was an expresso machine??? Maybe unfiltered water was used - had a terrible taste

The hotel is conveniently situated in the pedestrian street so it is pretty easy to go around. Night is always crowded and it is easy to find food around. The metro station is just close by. U can do ur laundry here for free and the front desk can offer you more water even though they provide you 4 bottles in the room. Though the room is not too big but they are clean n comfortable

I took my kids to Nanjing and initially booked another hotel, supposedly the Confucius Temple Hilton. However, it was a world away from the temple, extremely remote, with road construction nearby, and very poor amenities! I didn't look carefully enough at the room and booked an interior window room. When I tried to upgrade, they said they had sold out, so I had to cancel! Fortunately, I got a full refund, which was a plus! I had to search for hotels on Ctrip and found this one, but I wasn't sure if it was good. When I first arrived downstairs, I was disappointed to see the small entrance. But then I went up to the second floor and it was like a completely different world, instantly brightening my mood! The staff were all handsome and beautiful, with great service, and check-in was quick! The room was on the same floor as the lobby, a first for me (and the next two days, I found it incredibly convenient to be close to the front desk). The facilities were all new and clean, and I loved the ambiance. There was a refreshment area right outside the elevator, offering free snacks and drinks! Confucius Temple and Jinling First Garden are right downstairs! The hotel has everything, including plenty of restaurants. It's also close to shopping malls and the subway station. The experience was fantastic. I couldn't have chosen a better hotel when visiting Nanjing. I'm so glad I changed hotels! The area is incredibly scenic, and the room was perfectly sized, perfect for two people with a child! The room had a large round table, which was very practical for me since we love eating in hotels! Breakfast had everything you could expect! They even gave me a small gift box of snacks when I checked out. Choosing this hotel was the best decision I made during my trip to Nanjing, so I absolutely have to give it a thumbs up! Recommended!

Pros - very good location with shopping, metro station and restaurants around the hotel. Strong hot shower pressure, fast WiFi, clean room and no smoking stench. The aircon is cool and windows can be partially opened for ventilation. Front desk staff provided snacks during check out. If the price per night can be cheaper, it would be perfect. Cons - hotel entrance has steep stairs not friendly for those with big heavy luggage. Room pillows are too soft and cannot support the neck well during sleep. Toilet seat bidet not working.
