The hotel is located on Rehe South Road in Nanjing's Gulou District. Due to ongoing subway construction right outside the entrance, access is currently a bit inconvenient. The parking lot is conveniently located 100 meters away, just across the road.
Our deluxe twin room was 30 sq.m., and the 1.35-meter wide beds were a generous size, making it ideal for families with children. The room's overall design incorporates the brand's signature red as a highlight, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Modern amenities like electric curtains and smart room controls are fully equipped. The hotel has rooms facing either a residential compound or the main road. Given the subway construction below, the rooms facing the residential side tend to be quieter.
Service was excellent: the staff were warm and efficient during check-in. A robot promptly delivered welcome drinks to our room, and when our car was blocked in the adjacent parking lot, a security guard quickly arrived to help resolve the situation. Staying at a Mövenpick hotel, we naturally couldn't miss out on their famous Swiss ice cream. At ¥39, it was quite a bit cheaper than the ¥58 we paid at the Mövenpick Hefei two days before. We chose strawberry, and it was absolutely delicious and super sweet.
Both the ground floor coffee bar and the third-floor fitness center are outsourced. The swimming pool is divided into four lanes (children's, regular, professional, and training) and can get quite busy. Being outsourced, the gym boasts a much wider variety and greater quantity of equipment than your average hotel gym. A quick tip: remember to collect a voucher from the front desk before each gym or pool visit.
The hotel's location was perfect for shopping and exploring the city. The room size was very spacious and clean, with a well-equipped bathroom and amenities. The hot water was always available, which was a plus in cold winter . The staff were friendly, accommodating, and provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Although the facilities were good, there was some room for improvement like people smoking along the corridors by other guests and even rooms with the door wide open . Hotel security is lacking in this area . Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend this property for its value for money and location when touring Nanjing .
I must give a huge shout-out to Shine! They proactively contacted me even before my arrival, understood my needs, and upgraded me to a river-view room, ensuring all children's amenities were thoughtfully prepared. On the day of check-out, they again reached out, and upon learning my itinerary, arranged a late check-out for me. Their service truly deserves a five-star rating!
**Room:** Extremely clean, with all the children's amenities already set up before check-in. The service was incredibly thoughtful! Guest Services were very responsive and professional.
**Breakfast:** There was a conference during my stay, so the restaurant was quite busy. However, food items were replenished promptly, and tables were cleared quickly, preventing any chaos despite the crowd. The quality was good overall. While there weren't many Chinese stir-fry dishes, they offered delicious duck blood vermicelli and plain noodles. The breakfast leans more towards Western style.
**Transportation:** A taxi ride to Confucius Temple takes less than 30 minutes, traffic permitting. It's very convenient whether you're driving or taking a taxi. Facing the Yangtze River, I much prefer the comfort and tranquility here compared to the hustle and bustle of the city center.
**Fitness Facilities:** The swimming pool was clean and came with a sauna. My only minor gripe is that the pool is a bit small, and it can get quite crowded, making it difficult to swim freely.
**Suggestions:** Firstly, when searching on Ctrip for '2 adults and 1 child', standard rooms didn't show up, and if family rooms were fully booked, they wouldn't appear either. I only found this hotel through Ctrip's 'family-friendly hotel recommendations'. Secondly, given that this is a family-friendly hotel, I hope they can display the breakfast price for '2 adults and 1 child' during the booking process. Having to pay separately for a child's breakfast each time isn't a great experience.

The surroundings are elegant and peaceful. A scenic loop road winds through the area, making it perfect for cycling and exercise. The river views are exceptionally captivating – truly one of Nanjing's most easily overlooked scenic gems. The harmonious blend of a modern urban complex and natural landscapes makes for an unforgettable experience.
Facilities: worth mentioning, really tasteful display and decoration
Environment: The room is very luxurious. I admire all the lighting design of the hotel. It is really ranked among the many luxury brand hotels I have stayed in
Service: Thank you Miss Freya for the check-in service for me. The service is very good and the people are sweet. All the problems are responded to in one second. The solution makes people feel great and smiles all the time.
I especially thank the guest service manager Xiaoxiao. She was still replying to my questions in the early morning because I really like the music in the hotel. I want her to help me with my problems. She helped me solve them and kept them in mind.
I hope some international star-rated brand hotels can learn from this. I think if I come to Nanjing again to choose a hotel, I will come back to the Lalu💕 because I think the two ladies are really great. There are very few hotels that can insist on service like this these days.
Acceptable but not outstanding, especially from a service standpoint. Staff were mostly standoffish and very unwilling to discuss anything outside of the script. For example, I asked if it were possible to have a late check out (I wanted to check out at 3, the standard time is 2); the front desk told me that all check out time is 2pm and cannot be changed. Absolutely no attempt to check if the room was immediately required or if anything can be done, for a single hour difference…. Like I said, acceptable but not outstanding.
We to the the bar on my first evening and was told I have to sit at the bar as I was on my own (white, male). The following two customers were also on their own, but female and Chinese, and they could sit wherever they wanted. Not quite sure why the difference in treatment.
In terms of hygiene, it is clean and refreshing. Xiaomi, the customer service staff at the front desk, has a very good service attitude. He will ask us if we need hot water and if the room needs to be cleaned if we extend our stay. This is more considerate. The weather is getting colder, but people are warm. The facilities are complete, and it would be better if the room space were larger. Overall, I am quite satisfied, not bad.
I wanted a quiet room, but was arranged in the breakfast room without communicating with me. I expressed my dissatisfaction, and the waiter's attitude immediately became unhappy, and he changed my room to a room next to the elevator. I expressed my dissatisfaction again, and he arranged a room with windows that could not be closed. I don't know if it was intentional to make things difficult for me. I have stayed at Atour Hotel many times, and this experience was the worst!

In the old campus of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, there is a subway station right outside the school. I have to say that the environment in the school is really good. Now it is spring and the cherry blossoms, crabapples and pear blossoms are in full bloom. The trees are all decades old and lush. The environment in the room is also very good, the bed is big and clean, and there is a large living room. The most convenient thing is that there are two bathrooms, one of which has a bathtub. The service attitude of the front desk is very good, and the aunt is also very good
Not happy with the housekeeping aunty attitude when I ask for a bathing towel instead of small tower due to I never request for room cleaning..The attitude iof the aunty is like why should I give you when you already have 2 in the bathroom..This aunty should be fired as it will destroy your hotel with staff this kind of attitude..The first 2 days was fine that why I gave a good comment..Hope that the management look into this..Staff attitude and behavior is eat determine your hotel grades .

TTianbaobei123Highlights:
Convenient location: In order to go to the Japanese Military Memorial Hall of Invasion in China, this hotel is set. It's too close and convenient. The hotel is located around the Wanda business district, with a lot of dining, shopping and entertainment options. Metro stations are also usually within walking distance, making it easy to reach various attractions or transportation hubs in the city.
Standardized experience: As a new version of Hanting 3.0 hotel, the decoration is modern and simple, the lobby has a self-check-in machine, the room is clean and bright, the bedding is comfortable, and it meets the brand's consistent reliable level.
Cost-effective: Hanting offers a stable, clean and safe accommodation experience in hotels of the same price range, making it a safe choice for business travelers or budget travelers.
· Efficient service: Front desk staff are skilled in business, check-in and check-out speed. Luggage storage service is provided.
The fly in the ointment:
· Compact space: The room size follows the standards of budget hotels, not spacious, but the layout is reasonable, to meet the basic accommodation needs without pressure.
Summary: If you are looking for convenient travel, cleanliness and cost-effective accommodation, and do not have high requirements for hotel additional facilities, Hanting Hotel (Nanjing Wanda) is a very reliable and wise choice.

GGuest UserThe receptionist at the front desk was very warm and polite. The suitcase I brought helped open the door and said hello. The check-in was fast and efficient. The room was spacious and clean. The TV could cast a screen and I didn’t want to go out and I could lie on the bed and watch a movie. The takeaway can be delivered by robots. The room facilities are very smart. You can automatically open and close the curtains, the toilet is automatically flushed, the hotel's newly renovated environment is very good, from the lobby to the room is very clean, I like a hotel very much!

ZZhanghaifeng1982The hotel rooms are spacious and bright, and the beds are comfortable, allowing people to fully relax and rest. In addition, the hotel's breakfast is also very rich, giving people enough energy to face the new day. I’m not satisfied with this. Water flows out when taking a shower in the shower room. I suggest waterproofing the cracks in the shower room door.

MM43473****It was much better than I expected. The streets were lined with beautiful sycamore trees. Although the soundproofing was not very good, everyone would be quiet at night... I slept well. The bathroom is also separated into dry and wet areas, which is very satisfying. I came here with a big suitcase, and the girl at the front desk helped me move to the 7th floor. Thank you very much❤️The view outside the window is nice. I will look at it for a while every day when I wake up. Nanjing is really a nice place.

MMichael ZargarovThe hotel is great for the price. Good location across from a park with a lake. Beds were comfortable, and clean. The room was cleaned daily. Bottled water provided. The towels were soft and absorbent. The buffet breakfast, at 30 RMB was good. Coffee! A good selection of choices. You can fry your own eggs. Steamed buns and fried noodles. A good choice. Friendly staff. A convenience store right off the lobby. One peculiarity: The toilet was immediately behind the door, which always hit it when entering. The shower is small, and the water escapes to soak the bathroom floor... But towels provided. Toiletries provided are good.
