Hotels in Train Station Area, Nanjing

Receptionist are nice and kind, they try to help or answer questions. Room is big enough for 1-2 persons Cleanness is the issue here, first I got the room with full of hair on the floor and they gave my new room. But still hair on the floor but less than the first one. Breakfast is good, I’m satisfied.

The welcome at the hotel was good. At least in the evening the front-desk did not speak english, but thanks to translation apps the check-in was smooth and without any problems. The location is very convenient, ca. 5min walking away from Nanjing Railway-Station (including 2 metro lines). The breakfast was ok, breakfast times end quite early (09:30), this might be a bit inconvenient for people on holidays, who would like to sleep a bit longer. The hotel seems clearly geared towards business travelers and conferences. The room itself was overall acceptable, but quite aged! One side of the bed was very much used and gave not much support. The windows in the room although small, let in a lot of noise and could not really be closed properly anymore. The bathroom was in a usable state, but also quite run down: Shower Curtain with mold, water coming up the floor drain when showering a lot of dust underneath the sink area. So overall again just very aged. In conclusion our stay was overall ok. But the room was clearly in a much more run down state than expected from the very good reviews of the hotel. The price performance is probably ok.

The breakfast is very rich and the parking is convenient. Unlike other hotels that park on the roadside, it is free parking in the Sun Palace Square. The subway entrance is right outside the door, and the transportation is convenient. It is convenient to go to the museum, Qinhuai River Confucius Temple, and the Xuanwu Lake Scenic Area. We went upstairs from Jiefangmen and walked along the city wall down Taipingmen, and we returned to the hotel along the lake! Not happy with the housekeeping aunty attitude when I ask for a bathing towel instead of small tower due to I never request for room cleaning..The attitude iof the aunty is like why should I give you when you already have 2 in the bathroom..This aunty should be fired as it will destroy your hotel with staff this kind of attitude..The first 2 days was fine that why I gave a good comment..Hope that the management look into this..Staff attitude and behavior is eat determine your hotel grades .

The hotels are located near the style department zone and close to exit no.2 of Guangzicun station. I stayed there on the last day of the year, December 31st, 2023, and the hotel was fully booked. The hotel of Nanjing Forestry University is more affordable than other surrounding hotels. The front desk staff are very considerate and will answer any questions I have. The only drawback is that the room facilities are a bit old, but it does not affect the use. The transportation is really convenient, and there is a subway entrance right outside.
