Hotels in Xinjiekou Area (Downtown), Nanjing

It was quite late when I arrived, and I didn't check in until past 11 PM. However, the staff at the guest services center were incredibly accommodating throughout, and any issues were handled promptly. The lady from guest services on the 35th floor was particularly kind and helped me move to a more suitable room. They even upgraded my room type, truly making me feel at home and ensuring my complete satisfaction. After shopping these past two days, the hotel even helped me refrigerate my desserts. A staff member brought my shopping up to my room with a luggage cart. Even during check-out, a staff member assisted me by taking my luggage all the way to my car, loaded it into the trunk, and thoughtfully reminded me that my bubble tea could be placed in the car's cup holder. They even helped me dispose of my trash. Later, I realized I had left my iPad in the room. I contacted the hotel staff, and they promptly arranged for it to be delivered to me. I was very satisfied with the service provided by HT at the guest services center. Every single staff member at the hotel was incredibly friendly and approachable. Next time I visit Nanjing, I will definitely choose Jinling Hotel again.

A friend of mine visited Nanjing and booked this hotel online, drawn by its excellent location. They confirmed its prime spot after checking in. As it was my first stay here, I found the overall experience to be great. The location is incredibly convenient, right next to a subway station, and taxis are easily accessible. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. The rooms were spotless, and the service was top-notch.

Service : excellent as i arrived at the midnight they chat me tho to ensure my whereabout. Mr Wang- King even gave us breakie coupon for 2 pax. Thats a very kind of you. Thank you Location : near xinjiekou line 2 but you have to walked for 15-20 mins, the nearest one is line 3 tianfuyuan walked for 8-10 mins Cleanliness & amenities : pretty clean, smart toilet, smart yifeiyifei🤩 Overall staying 3 nights here is pretty nice.

Excellent localization near laodongmen , good breakfast included in our choice. Hotel is clean, traditional and with very nice decoration. Near by a selection of restaurants and shops. 25 minutes from Nanjing south railway station and 20 minutes from the museum memorial of Nanjing massacre. The reception was good at the hotel and they can keep your luggage if you arrive earlier than 2:00pm or leave later than 12:00.

The B&B is conveniently located next to the Lao Men Dong pedestrian area. You can roam through Lao Men Dong with its street food stalls, restaurants and souvenir stalls. The B&B is very charming with beautiful small gardens, and antique setup of guest room and living room. Bed is comfortable and bathroom is clean. And the surrounding area are very beautiful. You can walk to the Gate of China (Old East Citywall), they have a night performance, a small immersive theater you should not miss, then after the show you can climb up the stairs to go up to the city wall top and see the Nanjing city below. From there can also see the light show from the pagoda of the Grand Bao En temple. You can also walk to the Qinhai scenic area to take the boat tour, and visit the Confucius temple. There is also a pedestrian area next to it with street snack, food, and souvenirs.

A day before our arrival, the customer service center called to meticulously confirm our reservation and provide all necessary information in advance. Arriving early at 9 AM on the day, the lobby manager and front desk staff greeted us warmly and assisted us with luggage storage, making for a very smooth start. When we returned in the evening to check in, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the 27th floor! The views were spectacular, and the room was spacious and bright – everything was perfectly comfortable. What’s more, there’s a dedicated transparent sightseeing elevator exclusively for high-floor guests, adding to a truly exclusive feel! Upon returning from the Qinhuai River in the evening, we found that housekeeping had tidied our room. We were delighted to discover they had even prepared a cutlery set for the complimentary fruit on the table – such a thoughtful and comforting touch! Overall, our entire stay felt like a high-level VIP experience. As a guest who had only booked a superior economy room, I was truly overwhelmed by such exceptional pampering. My sincere gratitude to Nanjing Tianfeng Hotel for their impeccable care and thoughtful attention to detail! We are truly thankful!

The hotel is conveniently located and easy to find. There's direct underground access from Xinmofan Malu Metro Station on Line 1, and it's just a short walk from there to the hotel. Upon check-in, the front desk informed me my room wasn't quite ready, but they kindly upgraded my room type, allowing for a smooth check-in. While the room itself was satisfactory, there was a noticeable sewage smell coming from the bathroom sink. I contacted the front desk, and they immediately dispatched an engineer who promptly resolved the issue. Kudos to their incredibly swift and effective response! Even when I woke up late on the second day, the front desk proactively called to inquire when I'd like housekeeping service. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay, and I'll definitely choose Ascott for my future stays in Nanjing!

The young lady at the front desk was incredibly sweet and welcoming. The hotel's location is fantastic, very close to both the subway station and Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple). There are plenty of shopping options nearby. It's particularly recommended for young fans who enjoy buying 'merch' (collectibles) at Shuiyoucheng mall. Ideal for families with children and elderly members who enjoy exploring at a relaxed pace.

Environment: Very close to Deji, just across the street, with convenient transportation nearby. Facilities: The room was soundproof and spacious, with a large refrigerator and cooking area, though the air conditioner was a bit loud. Service: The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Upon getting off the bus, they helped with their luggage and even brought it upstairs. I called to request two extra bottles of water, which were delivered quickly. From the moment I walked in, it felt like the Swissotel in Singapore. After checking, I realized it's part of the same group. I was very satisfied and will definitely stay at this hotel again next time I visit Nanjing.

Hotel location is good. Very near to shopping mall Deji, and metro. There are plenty of local food around. Basically, is a cozy hotel. Don’t expect luxury as this is a budget hotel. Clean and hygienic enough.  Have been to this hotel many times. Will be back again. This time chose trip.com and will be using trip.com. Easy to use and rewards points are higher. Used to use agoda for the past 15 years. However, I think management has changed and lack of integrity. Cannot believe agoda lies. Made a booking on 26Oct for 27Oct-4Nov to Guangzhou, and realised made a mistake. Cancelled by mistake and realised there was a cancellation fees of 13%, amount 700CNY. Agoda claimed that the hotel refused the refund, but the money was collected by agoda instead. They lied repeatedly and kept pushing the blame to the hotel. I booked the same hotel via trip.com and verified with the staff in person. Integrity is an issue.As such, start using trip.com.
