Choosing this hotel for my Fuzi Miao visit in Nanjing was an excellent decision! Its location is perfect – just a 5-minute walk from the subway exit and a mere 10-minute stroll to the Qinhuai River for those beautiful night cruises. No need to battle traffic!
A special shout-out to the front desk staff who were incredibly efficient during check-in. They even proactively upgraded me to a high-floor river-view room! Peeking out the window to see the lights reflecting on the Qinhuai River instantly cured all my travel weariness.
The bedding in the room was perfectly comfortable – not too soft, not too firm – ensuring I woke up feeling completely recharged. The bathroom was immaculately clean with a great wet/dry separation, and I particularly loved the soft-lit vanity mirror, which made putting on makeup so easy.
The breakfast buffet was incredibly rich and diverse. I especially enjoyed the freshly prepared duck blood vermicelli soup, which was both authentic and wonderfully warming. The service staff were always attentive and ready to help, proactively assisting with luggage storage and recommending fantastic local snack spots.
When I bring my family to Nanjing next time, this will absolutely be our hotel of choice!

A bit too much noise through the walls in the evening and early morning - I believe this was from doors being shut that need slow closing mechanisms to prevent the slamming. Luxury shopping mall around the corner. Underground shopping and food court 500m away, same entrances as metro.

GGuest UserI booked Hanyuan because it is within walking distance to my folks home. And my grandma used to work at Nanjing Agricultural University, which the hotel is affiliated with. I read others’ reviews and knew it is an old facility. I did not have unrealistic expectations.
We arrived late at night. Taxi driver dropped us off at the side entrance that has numerous stairs to the door. We had lots of luggage. As we got out of the cab, we saw some staff member in the lobby looking out. Instead of coming out to help us, he walked away. My husband, myself and our seven year old all carried/dragged multiple items up the stairs to get into the hotel lobby.
We checked in and decided that we would need to add a bed for the kid. House keeping came quickly to set up the bed but was reluctant to provide pillows for the additional bed. I had to repeatedly ask before they agreed to bring an extra pillow. Don’t understand why there is such resistance to equip the additional bed with pillow- after all, we did pay for the additional bed.
Everything else was pretty good during our first three-day-stay. We then went away to visit families elsewhere for a week before coming back to this hotel.
This time, our car drove onto the ramp at the front entrance. As soon as we entered the building, lobby manager came to offer us help. He helped us deliver luggage to our room. We are very appreciative of his assistance.
We ran into some issues at the front desk this time. They asked for our passports again and took our pictures for a second time. When I mentioned that we were just here a week ago and all information was taken already, we were told that all information has been erased as we checked out. When we checked in/out the first time, we informed front desk that we were making the hotel our base camp and will be coming in and out a few times. It’s strange that they would delete our information and redo everything all over again.
Again we need to add a bed. House keeping brought a roller bed which has a stained mattress pad. I asked them to bring a clean one, they said they could not. They said they didn’t have any clean pads. They said the only option is to remove the pad and put the sheets directly on the mattress. They further suggested that since the sheet is clean, dirty pad doesn’t matter and that every mattress pad under bed sheets has urine stains. His words made my stomach turn but I was too tired to fight so they went ahead put sheets on top of the mattress pad that has a big yellow stain. Again I asked for pillows for the additional bed, they refused at first, upon my insistence, they agreed to bring pillows. They also took out a blanket from the cabinets under television and put it on the bed.
When the seven year old was ready for bed, I opened the blanket and realized it’s cover is dirty. It’s dusty and has multiple stings of hair on it. I called house keeping, a lady quickly bought over a clean duvet cover for the blanket but refused to take away the dirty one. She insisted that we keep the dirty duvet in the closet. I did not understand her rationale but there isn’t anything I can do. So that dirty duvet cover stayed in the closet.
Maybe I should not have come back to this hotel.

CChuntianrannaifenBooked this place for a business trip to Nanjing and was pleasantly surprised. The room was very spacious, with a large bay window offering excellent natural light. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the shredded radish pancake was absolutely delicious! The lounge on the first floor was also very convenient for business meetings. My foreign colleague traveling with me also spoke highly of it. If I return to Nanjing, I would certainly choose to stay here again.

GGuest UserThe RV we booked has a separate RV barbecue area. The RV is clean and sanitary. The upper and lower bunks for children are narrow but also very delicate, clean, and safe. They are soft-padded and the children like them very much. The outdoor environment is particularly good, with a small train, a cruise ship, and a children's play area. DDidiaoThe service needs to be improved. Before entering the room, mineral water and slippers were placed on the floor at the door, and you had to pick them up yourself. To be honest, I have never seen such a thing in any hotel I have stayed in. Also, the night light in the room I stayed in occasionally flickered, probably because it was broken. Other aspects were ok, the room decoration style was good, and the decoration was quite new.

DdoomhumanMy hotel room was very comfortable, and I received a complimentary room upgrade. The service was impeccable and thoughtful. The room itself was clean and spacious, boasting a great view from the window. Staff were incredibly quick to deliver anything we needed to the room, which was much appreciated. The hotel's location in Xinjiekou city center is fantastic, surrounded by various shopping malls and delicious eateries. It's also just a few minutes' walk from the subway, making it super convenient for getting around and exploring. Overall, it's an excellent value-for-money hotel right in the heart of Xinjiekou.

CChenyuaneryi。For my trip to Nanjing, I specifically chose this Atour Hotel. I inquired about a room upgrade, and the front desk staff kindly upgraded me to a river view room. It was truly fantastic; I had a direct view of the Qinhuai River right from my room! Ever since checking in, I found myself constantly peeking out the window to people-watch, haha! The surrounding area is also incredibly convenient for sightseeing, with the Imperial Examination Museum, Jiangnan Gongyuan, and Nanjing Impressions (a famous local restaurant) all within about 200 meters. What a great spot! This stay was definitely worth every penny! The bedding was incredibly soft and skin-friendly; once I lay down, I didn't want to get up. For breakfast, I highly recommend trying the Duck Blood Vermicelli Soup, Xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), and rice cakes... (And if you're in a rush, you can even grab items to go! I took a coffee with me, haha!)

DDezigeMy stay here was absolutely wonderful! Waking up to see the morning mist drift over the lake, and in the evening, watching the sunset paint the riverbanks red – every photo you take here is postcard-perfect. Xuanwu Lake Park is just a 10-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient for cycling around the lake or taking a boat ride. It's also only 3 subway stops directly to the Presidential Palace, and you can reach Fuzi Temple in just half an hour. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bedding is soft and pleasant against the skin, and the service is exceptionally thoughtful – any request is met with an immediate response. Staying here means you can fall asleep to beautiful lake views and easily visit Nanjing's landmarks. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Nanjing!

Seeing it was newly renovated and reasonably priced, it seemed like a good fit. I booked and arrived at the hotel. Check-in was quick, the service was friendly and attentive, the room was clean, and nearby restaurants were convenient! It's a great place to stay for business trips, and the hotel room manager is incredibly helpful! I've recommended it to friends, and the value for money is excellent. I'll definitely stay here again on my next business trip.
