The hotel is incredibly close to the subway station, just a 100-meter walk to the right from its entrance. It's situated right at the entrance of Fuzi Temple, which makes the area very lively. After a busy evening exploring, you can easily head straight back to the hotel to unwind. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the beef potstickers across the street are absolutely delicious! The front desk staff were wonderful – very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and well-maintained. I stayed for two nights and was very satisfied.

The hotel is located near Gulou Square, with good geographical location and convenient transportation. It is close to Zifeng Tower, Shiziqiao Food Street and Wuyue Plaza, which can meet various food needs. Xuanwu Lake Park is also not far away. The only problem is that it is not easy to find. You have to come in from the alley leading to the north campus of Gulou Hospital and have the same front desk as GreenTree Inn. The hotel is newly renovated, and its style is similar to that of a certain season. I booked a 1.5-meter king-size bed room, and the front desk lady helped me upgrade it to a 1.8-meter king-size bed room for free. The room is generally comfortable, of a suitable size, and the bed is also comfortable. The only drawback is that the bathroom door opens right in front of the toilet, which is a bit cramped. The glass door of the shower room does not block water very well, so there is water all over the floor after taking a shower. There is also no marking on the switch panel to control anything, so turning on and off the lights is like opening a blind box every time. Overall, I am quite satisfied!

I was extremely satisfied with my stay this time. The hotel's proximity to a subway station made getting around incredibly convenient. Being newly renovated, the hotel was impeccably clean. The smart controls throughout the room were intuitive and easy to operate, making adjusting the lighting and curtains a breeze. The layout was well-designed; the sleeping and sofa areas were effectively separated from the living space, giving it the feel of a mini-suite. Thoughtful details were evident everywhere, such as the retractable clothesline, which conveniently solved any drying needs. Truly considerate! The room facilities were new and practical, even boasting a Dyson hairdryer. The charming room decor added a lovely, cozy touch. The air conditioning worked perfectly, providing instant comfort upon entering the room, even on a scorching hot day. The expansive view from the window offered a pleasant panorama. Overall, it offered excellent value for money and was a truly pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

XXavierasyI booked a suite for 2 nights at the Courtyard by Marriott the night before I came from Xi'an because I wanted to visit Niushoushan, Jinling Xiaocheng, and other tourist spots nearby.
The location of the Courtyard is actually not bad; it's right beside the Hedingqiao metro station, and many food booths and convenience stores are just downstairs. You can buy takeaway at any time. The reception staff is nice and helpful and can speak very good English, no doubt.
The worst was the concierge. One of the concierge staff has been playing on his cellphone every single moment. I took Didi or the metro at least 4 or 5 times every day. Every time I pass through the entrance, he is playing on his phone.
The most frustrating part was when I ordered takeaway through the app. The delivery man said he placed it on the concierge cart right next to that guy, but someone took my package, and he didn't notice. YEAH, How could he possibly know if he was preoccupied with his phone ?!

Hygiene: The overall feeling of the indoor area is good, and the outdoor area is relatively primitive and needs to be improved.
Environment: Highly recommended. I went to Kuanzhai Bar at night, and it felt like Nanjing Pattaya, very comfortable; I ran a circle of less than four kilometers in the park during the day, and it was an oxygen bar in nature, and I lingered; you can walk, ride, and play in the park, and there are many projects...
Service: Active and friendly, thoughtful, very good!

GGuest UserOur trip to Nanjing left us with beautiful memories and a very positive impression. Largely attributable to the very pleasant stay at Swisstouches Hotel. We stayed in the suite from end May to early June.
1. Very clean and comfortable suite - About one of the most comfortable rooms I have had stayed in recent memory. Spacious, clean, well - kept, well - maintained. Reasonably priced. Whole place smelled good, no hint of musky odour, no tobacco smell, children had zero issue with allergy. Sound proofing was great.
I do wish the kitchenette is better equipped with microwave oven, utensils and simple crockery. Not that we cook in the room, but I guess it is more convenient to have simple utensils available in the kitchenette.
2. Courteous, attentive and responsive service - Reception was courteous, patient and reliable. Restaurant staff were obliging and prompt (requests were attended to promptly, room cleaning staff were responsible and detailed. (I accidentally left the Do-Not-Disturb sign on, they left a note reminding me about that, and took the initiative to return in the evening to clean up the room - all without any request from me. I thought of just going letting the room cleaning pass for 1 day). Such conscientious work attitude is hard to come by.
3. Food was hygienic and ample - The buffet breakfast was amply stocked and spread was decent. Not an emperor's feast, but way enough to surpass expectations for most people.
4. Location was decent, safe - The hotel is situated in the outskirts of Nanjing city. So you get the tranquil, but you wont have the hustle and bustle. There are convenience stores and eateries well within a stone's throw. Ride hailing taxis are easily available too. But if you are expecting to walk to the tourist spots, you will have to stay in the heart of the city. I personally prefer a location like Swisstouches' .
5. Facilities - I only tried the swimming pool and gym. Very decent. Good enough for exercise and workouts during travel. Gym was well equipped, albeit a little messy. But that's more of gym users rather than the set-up. Swimming pool was well maintained and monitored at all times. Great for lane swimming.
All in all, fantastic stay. Go back again? Big Yes.

HHazbinThe hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 10-minute walk from Deji Plaza, a prominent luxury shopping destination. It's also incredibly convenient to reach major department stores like Xinjiekou Department Store, Central Shopping Mall, and Grand Ocean Department Store. A great perk is being able to quickly return to your clean and comfortable room after grabbing a drink from one of the many popular milk tea shops nearby. Furthermore, Xinjiekou Station, a major interchange for Metro Lines 1 and 2, is conveniently located only 200 meters away. This prime access allows for direct 10-minute subway rides to key attractions like the Presidential Palace and Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple), taking all the hassle out of sightseeing planning.

GGuest UserThe hotel staff were excellent; they kindly upgraded us to a king-size room. Despite being in a busy downtown area, it was surprisingly quiet, and we slept very soundly. The bedding was extremely comfortable. We would definitely choose to stay here again next time.
The hotel is right next to Qinhuai River, just steps from the entrance. There are many dining options nearby, and we enjoyed local delicacies like crab roe noodles, BBQ, duck blood vermicelli soup, and soup dumplings.

SsteelbossI am from New York and am based in Suzhou, China. I stayed at this hotel during a busy holiday and was very concerned about Nanjing traffic. This hotel has an excellent location near the university city and many theme parks, such as Nanjing Happy Valley. The level of elegance of the rooms was comparable to the now-extinct 6-star rating. You would have to see it to believe it, including the electric toilets and beveled glass doors.
However, I decided to post a comment because of the restaurant. I have been in China for 23 years and usually travel for business. Breakfast at most hotels is not good, and nothing like in Western hotels. Because of this, I drove to a fancy restaurant and wasted a ton of money on horrible food. The next day, upon checkout, I decided to eat at the in-hotel restaurant and was totally shocked to find two interconnected dining facilities, consisting of a hot pot buffet on one side and an À la carte buffet on the other. I chose the À la carte because my son saw the grilled beef kabobs and had to have it.
Here is the best part: When you enter the buffet, you get a small card you pre-charge with money. I charged RMB 300, or about $41.66. You go through the buffet, take what you want, and swipe the card for each item. You only pay for what you eat. There had to be no less than 80 items on the buffet, from vegetable dishes, soups, pasta, beef (tenderloin), rib steak, short-rib steaks, fish, shrimp, traditional noodles, eggs, omelets, various bread, fruits, and many traditional Chinese dishes. There were four of us, and we were stuffed. Ultimately, I returned the charge card and was refunded RMB 35. This means I spent RMB 265 for four people or RMB 66.25 ($9.20) per person for a spectacular buffet.
This was hands-down the best hotel experience I've had in China, for room, and dining.
I really did not like one thing. A workstation outside deals with tiles, marble, masonry, and maintenance. It does not look good, and that was my view. The laydown area uses part of the parking lot. The yard needs to be cleaned up, and the work site covered or contained in a shop. This is a major management gaff void of marketing awareness. I still rate the hotel a 5-star.

GGuest UserFor my recent business trip to Nanjing, I chose to stay at the InterContinental Nanjing Zifeng, and the entire experience, from check-in to check-out, far exceeded my expectations. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the Zifeng Tower area, within walking distance of the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for both business travelers and those wanting to explore attractions like Xuanwu Lake, Jiming Temple, and Laomendong. The room was well-appointed and meticulously maintained. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline and the lake, creating a truly atmospheric ambiance when the city lights came alive at night. The bedding was perfectly soft, allowing me to quickly unwind and fall asleep after a busy day. What truly impressed me the most was Alice from the front desk and her thoughtful service during a swift check-out!

MM896076****I was on a business trip to Nanjing, and my company's reimbursement wasn't very high. Upon arriving, I quickly searched for this hotel. Seeing it was newly renovated and reasonably priced, it seemed like a good fit. I booked and arrived at the hotel. Check-in was quick, the service was friendly and attentive, the room was clean, and nearby restaurants were convenient! It's a great place to stay for business trips, and the hotel room manager is incredibly helpful! I've recommended it to friends, and the value for money is excellent. I'll definitely stay here again on my next business trip.
