Hotels Near Southeast University Bridge Engineering Department in Nanjing

1. The room number is on the room card of this hotel. This is the first time I have seen this in a hotel where I have stayed for decades. If the card is picked up by a passerby, come and take away everything in the room. What safety is there? 2. There are a lot of mosquitoes, and a mosquito-repellent coil heater will not work at all. After being bitten by mosquitoes and waking up in the middle of the night, I asked the front desk if they could get an extra heater. The answer was that it would not work. I was bitten again and woke up at 2:30 in the morning. I had to ask them for 2 more mosquito coils. Fortunately, Ctrip came forward to negotiate the next day, and the hotel agreed to provide another heater. 3. In ordinary hotels, if you lose your room card or lock it in the room, they will make another one for you. In this hotel, they will not give you a new one. Instead, after you tell the front desk, the front desk will coordinate with a security guard. Help you clean the elevator and wait there when you get to your floor. They will send another attendant to open the door for you. If you are unlucky and happen to meet them taking over, just wait for a while. 4. One thing I like is that they provide plastic slippers in the room. This is very convenient. Finally, let me tell you my opinion. The waiters are enthusiastic, but the key is that there is a problem with the hotel management. This results in a poor guest experience.

The location was excellent, and the open facilities were very good. I understand it's a ”China thing” that prevents outdoor swimming pools from being open to the public other than July - August - but it's ridiculous and one that a 5-star hotel should change. You advertise having an indoor and outdoor pool; however, 85% of the entire year, it is closed.... so how can you say you have an outdoor pool? It's false advertising. It was 32 degrees this weekend and perfect weather for the outdoor pool, but you didn't have it open - thus, I took away two stars on facilities. The service in the restaurant was EXCELLENT on the 45th floor, extremely good and well worth the 5stars; the front desk people also on the 1st floor incredible; however, the service in the (the indoor!!!) swimming pool was extremely average - feeling like being served from student intern vs. any 5star customer service at all. The service in the bar on the 78th floor was highly average. also, for 5star, with us having to ask for drinks and not a single smile when serving the drinks, while the 78th-floor views are breathtaking, the service was let down. Last but not least, our parents-in-law traveled with us and rang the front desk for help with the TV. They rang twice, and they were waiting for someone to help them. I have stayed at Intercontinental Hotels in other locations, and the service is always very good. While some departments at this location were good, they needed to be more balanced by the inconsistency of the other departments.

The hotel's a bit old. We need to extend our stay, and the price is more expensive than on Trip.

This hotel’s location is really good. It is located right next to a major shopping mall with lots of good restaurants and stores. It’s located within walking distance from Xuanwu Gate 玄武门 and Xuanwu Lake 玄武湖. It’s right next to a subway that provides easy access to other parts of Nanjing like the Nanjing Museum 南京博物院 or the Confucian Temple area 夫子庙. The rooms were clean and everything in it felt high quality. The view of Nanjing from my room was beautiful. Although the hotel staff are very friendly, I marked the service and amenities as 4/5 for a few reasons. First, laundry is relatively expensive whereas at Atour 亚朵 it’s free. If i remember correctly, they wanted me to pay 35 or so rmb per article of clothing. Secondly, the hotel allows delivery of takeout but they do not send it to your room like they do at Atour 亚朵. You have to go to the lobby and pick it up yourself. These are the only two things that stop me from giving all 5/5s. Other than that, I loved this hotel especially for its location and comfortable rooms. If you dont care about doing laundry or having takeout ordered directly to your room, then those two criticisms are relatively minor things. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel regardless.

Hotel location was excellent. Service was superb Gym is very good as well as the pool I would like in particular to thank the lifeguard Mr. Paul Lv and the gym staff Mrs Jennie Chen

I loved my stay at this hostel🙌🏾 First time to stay in a hostel and was pretty anxious about it all. But when I got there, all of it went away. The staff helped me carry my luggage, they were are friendly, no check-in trouble just perfect. The place is so tidy and clean hence well managed. Cleaning staff is always active. The hostels are very clean too and comfortable, you will sleep well there. The environment is so vibrant and very good for being socializing others. The big thing I loved about here is the friendliness of everyone there, you socialize with new people everyday, play games like pingpong, billiards, card games and more. There are music instruments like a grand piano, guitar, small African drum and mics too to showcase your talents at the Karaoke Stage. There are cozy areas where you can chill too if you want some privacy. A bar is also located inside as well. Honestly I didn’t want to leave, I kept on extending my days there🤦🏾♂️😂😂😂 Just 2 downsides, it’s just a little difficult to locate since you expect to see Douyuan Youth Hostel but it’s themed Moreland Youth Hostel. Then it’s on the 3rd floor but the elevator doesn’t work. Hope these get fixed soon…

The hotel is close to Xuanwu Lake, and the MRT is close by. But other than that, the surrounding area seems rather quiet in terms of shopping and eateries. The hotel does have a well known chinese restaurant on the ground floor and you won't be disappointed with the fine offering there. Although the hotel is rather dated, it is well maintained and everything works well. Cleanliness was good and the staff were helpful. Buffet breakfast spread was good, although certain food sections could be improved - like better fried eggs ( I have seen better fried eggs at other hotel buffets) and offering cook on demand omelette. I would stay here again as I believe it is good value for money

Hotel's location is perfect. You can go from hotel to Fuzimiao or turistic places by walk. Also hotel is clean and cheap. But there is one disadvantage. No window in the room

Awesome location and extraordinary services!! Especially when we need to change the room from our first booking to second booking (with different family members so we have 3 different bookings), REN JUN DANIEL provided extraordinary services!! This hotel is the first Hilton (changed to Grand Metro now) in Nanjing, 10 minute from Zhong Shan Landmarks, close to every where. Although not brand new, but the services and location make up every thing. Buffet breakfast has all kinds of different style gourmet, and changing every day. Beautiful view from the window!

The location is amazing! Close to the metro and to the most important spots. The hostel was clean and easy to find. The only thing is that if you get the lowest bed then it’s basically sleeping on the floor.
