Hotels in Yehliu Geopark, New Taipei City

It was our first visit and we were traveling with children. We stayed in a family sea view room. The overall experience was very good. The room was very spacious and had an unparalleled sea view. There were two queen beds and two single beds in the room, and there was a 6-person bed in the middle. The table can be used to store food, etc., which is very convenient! The room has good sound insulation and is hygienic and clean. Although the equipment is relatively old, it does not affect its use. We went to use the female hot spring bath, which was pretty good! The children's play space is in the same building as the counter. The space is huge and the children have a lot of fun. The breakfast is quite delicious. We went to eat it for the second time. My favorite is the porridge and side dishes🤣!

In addition to the towels, bath towels, toothbrushes, razors, and hairdryers that are usually provided in the room, a flat comb is provided, and cotton swabs are also provided (not every hotel has them). Unfortunately, there is no flush toilet. The restaurant is not big, and you need to book the buffet dinner in advance. I saw others thinking that the queue was already full. The breakfast has enough protein, including smooth eggs, tea eggs, and poached eggs, but no omelet eggs. The other ones are basic porridge, cereals, braised pork rice, Bread and basic side dishes, the special thing is that there is a whole pot of hot soy milk (it feels like it is freshly cooked and not soaked). The hotel is divided into old and new buildings. There is no chance to go to the gym. The parent-child pavilion can let adults and children spend the whole day. There is also a switch that can be rented. There are also a reading area, a badminton area, a sandbag area, and an archery area. The only drawback is that there are a lot of gashapon. The kid on the machine will be clamoring to turn.

First of all, I must praise the service staff for their really good attitude and they are all very friendly. This is the most commendable thing. Then there is the issue of facilities. I know this is an old hotel, but during the three days I stayed, there was no room cleaning at all on one day. I don’t know why, but because it was too late to return to the hotel, I just No more trouble for the hotel staff. Then there is the hot spring house that is available for an additional fee. Not only does the water come out slowly, but there are also leaf debris in the hot spring. Although the amount is not large, it can affect the mood. In an hour of use, less than half of the water was left for half an hour. The whole thing was very rushed and the user experience was very poor.

A supposedly 4 star hotel that delivers the bare minimum. Nothing to shout about, had an unobjectionable stay here in January this year and was happy with the location and relatively clean room so decided to book again for 5 nights for my recent trip. Regretted my decision as I felt that the service was lackluster. Upon entering the room we saw that the double bed was made up by 2 twin beds unlike our initial experience so we approached the front desk to enquire if a change was possible as we do not like the feel of the gap between the beds and the light switches were behind our pillows making the lights on/off if we were to even lightly lean on the headboard. The answer we got was that we should have indicated that request upon check in and it is a common process for hotels to join 2 twin beds and sell them as a double room. The front desk manager also said the check in rate was 98% that night. We then asked if we could have a change the next day and the reply was to come down and check again tmr. No effort to assist and instead all we felt was him trying the shift the blame to us when all we requested was a double bed when it is available. That left an extremely sour taste in our mouth. The next morning, I woke up with red bites on my arms, legs and torso, however my partner didn't had any so I did not relate it to the cleanliness of the room. The next 2 morning remained to be the same and we requested a change of room which we were given. The itchiness subsided after the change. The staff also passed a cream for itchness to me. But she mentioned it may be mosquito bites which I can tell it isn't as they are in clusters. Location was convenient for us as it is near the banqiao transfer station and there are food choices around the hotel as well as a few family marts.

The gym was well-equipped with modern machines, clean, and spacious enough for a comfortable workout. The staff was also attentive and ensured everything was in top condition. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!”

The location was very convenient for my business meetings. The big mall closeby had many good restaurants. However, there was some insect in my room, and the A/C in the bar and in the breakfast area was extremely cold, so I was afraid I would get a cold. Service was very good however, we got help in arranging a car and the information about the insect issue was followed up on.

Nice hotel, great location, plenty of food choices nearby and close to the MRT/train/High speed rail station. The room is clean, might not be very spacious for 2 persons but more than enough for a solo traveller. I love some design details such as mirrors are perpendicular to the bed and bathtub, smart toilet and how they put the amenities. Overall a great stay for short periods.

Temporary looking for a hotel to stay, the price is not bad, the service is very good The environment is very clean and parking is convenient. It is super convenient from the city. Next time. I will choose this room for my stay. Awesome.

1. The counter response training was insufficient. Due to his own negligence, he was unable to find the passenger's booking information (all available information was provided to the counter). When he finally found it, he kept explaining that it was because the passenger's information was provided incorrectly, which is extremely ridiculous; 2. The room facilities are old and the bed is hard; 3. There are some hairs on the bed and bathroom and the TV remote control feels like it has not been wiped for a long time; 4. The location is very good. It is only a 5-minute walk from Banqiao Station and there is a bus stop downstairs. It is very convenient to go anywhere.

The room is a bit old, the shower water flow is very weak, the air conditioner will get cold if it is turned on for a long time, the sound insulation is also poor, and the bed is very hard. Fortunately, the staff is very polite, and the price would be better if it were cheaper.
