Why don’t have toothpaste and toothbrush? It’s five stars hotel ? It’s very strange and don’t comfortable. You need add this items . Thanks for possibly to use cash deposit. It’s real thanks a lot .

Staff was very unfriendly, the rooms were unimpressive, and there was no city view despite being promised one. We paid over $1,000 per night. Not going back there AGAIN!

Very bad front desk service and very bad room. See the picture, this was their King bed room.lt was really single room, very hard to have two people in bed. On the other hand, very noisy in room at night.

The Hilton Midtown Hotel is generally a good and affordable hotel. The biggest bonus is the location. The service is rather ordinary and partially some staff is grumpy. The rooms are older and there are not many amenities (no coffee, tea or anything else on the room). Overall a good experience.

Superb location and the room was worth the price. Had no issues. WiFi was a bit on the slow side and the gym equipment wasn't quite complete. Otherwise, the AC was sufficient and the room was clean

Great service . Only hotel is old and surprisingly there was no central lighting system in room . Toilets are small and tight squeeze  Software is good but unfortunately the hardware is outdated

Check in line was too long and then they gave me a wrong room. Changed my room immediately and found the lock was broken then I was too tried to go complain again.

The person who checked us in with a name of Alex (i think Alexandra was the full name) was so cold towards us. She, during the whole check in process never smiled. We requested for a room close to lift, since we had 2 toddlers, for which she agreed, but actually gave a room right at the end of the corridor. the rooms were terrible, dirty, fridge had items, which were left behind by the previous guest. We had booked for 4 night in this hotel, but checked out right next day. The windows were terribly insulated, leaving load noise all through the night in the room. The location is the only positive for this hotel and bellboy team, who were cordial and atleast had a smile on their face.

Excellent location, convenient to walk to Central Park, MoMA, the Met, and 5th Av. I stayed in the same room for about one week, the room is clean, laundry service is efficient (return on the same day if they collect before 10am). The hotel does have cafe and restaurant, breakfast serves with buffet, normally need to wait 15-20mins to get the seat.

I can’t believe a five star hotel look like a motel environment, one of the most worst hotel I have never ever seen , you cannot call it five stars,,,,,, this is only one star hotel even more worst then that , no bottle water , no sleeper , very dirty environment, like 100 years not clean it !

The location is nice, close to Times Square. The hotel is clean, as other Hilton hotels. Breakfasts are good too, with very pleasant service. But there are some things that left that bitter feeling after my stay that I would like to share. 1. Destination charge. This is the second Hilton hotel in New York I have stayed at, and both charged additional USD35 for so-called destination fee per night. As the receptionist said, it’s MANDATORY. This 35 dollars are charged per day and the guest must use it the same day, they don’t even accumulate. How do you spend it? In the hotel restaurant or bar. What can you buy with it? Three bottles of drinking water, or two cans of beer…. Why am I forced to spend my money on the things that I don’t need and that are so overpriced? You already charged me for the room, and I happily paid for it. 2. The hotel page here shows a picture of “swimming”. It’s a rooftop swimming pool. I was excited to have a chance to spend some time in the pool. The reception said there was none. Please remove the picture from the page, as it is misleading. 3. There is no tea or coffee in the room. That’s the amenity available in every hotel, even the cheap ones. But when we called the service, they said: no, we don’t offer coffee or tea. But they did bring us a kettle:) I can see that it’s not listed in the available amenities here, but I didn’t even expect that. It’s such a little thing that makes your guest’s stay more comfortable. Anyways, it was quite a pleasant stay despite these unpleasant details. Thank you.
