San Carlos Hotel New York Reviews

I recently stayed at the San Carlos for the third time in just over a year. I recommend it highly!

Very convenience , friendly staff and clean.

Location is good. Servies is the best thing I got when t came here

We had not been to New York before this trip but we chose wisely with the San Carlos. The location looked good on the map and that is how it turned out. It was close to the places that we wanted to visit, was handy for the subway, and had close proximity to the facilities that we wanted. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the room that we had was everything that had been outlined in the brochure. The hotel was very neat and impeccably clean. We did not eat at the hotel but the immediate hinterland was well provided with eating places. We would have no hesitation in recommending the San Carlos to anyone visiting New York.

Stayed six nights September 2024. Hotel is ideally located. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was large with two double beds. The beds were very comfortable. The decor was perhaps a little outdated but very clean with all the facilities you might need. We did not eat at the property. We had a most enjoyable stay and very good value considering the location.

The location is fantastic. Many tourist attractions like Times Square, Central Park, and Rockefeller Center are within walking distance. There's a casual restaurant open at 7am just a minute or two's walk away where you can easily have breakfast alone, and plenty of dinner options within a five-minute walk. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. If I had to find a downside, it would be the weak shower pressure, but it was still perfectly adequate for washing. While Manhattan is expensive, I would recommend this hotel.

The facilities are exceptionally well-maintained, and the rooms are clean, spacious, and larger than many New York hotels. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location, less than 500 meters from Saks Fifth Avenue. Excellent in every way, highly recommended.

The room was spacious, the service was excellent, and the soundproofing was good.

The room is considered big in downtown New York, but the room I was given faces the backstreet and the fire escape across the street, so there is no view at all. The bathroom facilities are old-fashioned but clean. The sofa and bed are very comfortable. Two bottles of water were given on the first day of stay, and you can take the water cup to the gym downstairs to get water. There is a steak house opposite the hotel, and the steaks are good. The front desk can store luggage for free. Turn right and cross the road after leaving the hotel to get a bus to the vicinity of Central Park, but you must have a bus and subway card, and cash is not accepted

I guess I had too high of expectations It's not as clean as the pictures or reviews say There are bugs ㅜ It's old And the description says it can be an extra bed for a child But it doesn't actually work Please edit the description

The room is very comfortable, the bed is really big, it only takes about ten minutes to walk from the hotel to Times Square, there are many places to visit around, the location is great
