"This Orange Crystal hotel, newly opened in 2025, definitely has top-notch decor and facilities. However, it seems to be an old building that's been renovated, so it doesn't hold up to close scrutiny.
The reason for not giving a full 5 stars is the hygiene; I simply can't give it a perfect score. As soon as you get upstairs, there's a strange smell in the hallway. The cleanliness in the room could be improved, and the same goes for the restaurantโฆ you could clearly see water stains, oil stains, and wipe marks on the placemats and tabletops.
Let's talk about the 15% discount on tickets. It's a pretty good promotion, but only adult tickets were eligible for the discount, with no children's tickets available for purchase. If you wanted the 15% off, you had to buy adult tickets for everyone. Later, I realized that a 1-adult-1-child annual pass was the most cost-effective option, so people can choose based on their own situation. After comparing prices across various platforms, we found a coupon on Trip.com and ended up buying a package deal there.
The bar area in the room deserves a special mention! You can enjoy making your own pour-over coffee, and the tea set also adds a nice touch. The amenities in a new hotel are indeed quite good.
Suggestion: The air conditioning in the elevator and the hallway leading to the restaurant could be turned up; it felt a bit stuffy."
"the room is spacious and super cozy. very clean, no malfunction. it feels homey. there's also a little snacks provided in the room! the location is also super convenient, just right across the Qing Ming Shang He Tu. you can even see it from your window room. the inn also has a hanfu rent. the host is very responsive, and the whole check in and check out is very smooth. I stayed in the 2nd floor, the stairs is a little bit narrow so it may be a little bit inconvenient if you bring a heavy lugagge, but that's not a problem. the host helped me to bring my luggage up. I recommend it to anyone who visit hengdian!!๐๐"
"Traveling with family, the hotel upgraded our room, which was great! The facilities are all new, and it's quiet, so we pretty much slept through the night and then hurried to breakfast. We stayed three nights, and it was super convenient for sightseeing; most attractions were just a 10-minute drive away, and food delivery was easy too. There was a minor incident, but the hotel handled it very warmly. When you're traveling, understanding and empathy are key. Long live understanding!"
Fairfield by Marriott Hengdian upholds the brand's core philosophy of "simple sophistication," artfully blending classic European aesthetics with modern travel needs to create a comfortable European-inspired haven for both business elites and leisure travelers. Our energized staff embodies the warm hospitality heritage passed down from Marriott family farms, ensuring every guest feels relaxed and completely at home.
"We chose the Fairfield by Marriott for our trip to Hengdian, and our stay far exceeded our expectations! The hotel has a European town theme, which is great for photos. The room was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. What I want to praise most is the staff; their service isn't just polite and perfunctory, but genuinely problem-solving. When it started raining while we were out, a staff member thoughtfully noticed our window was open and closed it for us. When we checked in, we asked about how to explore the various attractions in Hengdian. The front desk lady patiently explained taxi routes, where to find affordable food, and even offered some helpful tips for our visit, saving us a lot of time planning."
"After comparing several hotels for my trip to Hengdian, I finally settled on Dream Inn Select, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations โ it definitely deserves a full five-star rating!
The location is superb, right in the heart of Actor's Village. It's very close to Qin Palace, Dream Valley, and Dream Bund, making it convenient whether you're taking a taxi or public transport. Plus, it has a large, free parking lot, so driving yourself is a breeze.
The rooms are generally simple and clean, with a wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The bedding is soft and odor-free, and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring an undisturbed rest. I must particularly praise the service; the staff were incredibly warm and helpful. After checking in, they even guided me to my room. Another reason I chose this hotel is because my child wanted to see some celebrities, and it was indeed very convenient. It's right inside the park, just a few steps downstairs, and my child actually met some! They were so happy when we left.
The hotel amenities are comprehensive; there's a convenience store, a tea restaurant, and a bubble tea shop within the park. Overall, it offers great value for money. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hengdian for sightseeing or celebrity-spotting!"
"Facilities: newly renovated
Hygiene: good health ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
Environment: The subway station is not far from walking for a few minutes
Service: The reception service attitude at the front desk is very good and the explanation is very detailed ๐"
"Regarding the 15% discount on tickets: I booked this hotel because I saw this offer. However, when I asked the front desk, they said the hotel doesn't sell tickets for Hengdian World Studios and there are no discounts, advising me to buy them directly on platforms like Trip.com ๐. Just a heads-up for anyone considering this hotel for the same reason!
The hotel's overall environment is quite new, and the facilities are good, especially the hairdryer which works great. However, it's not very close to Hengdian's scenic spots, nor is it close to the lively Hengdian Wansheng Street area. It's too far to walk anywhere. Although there's a bus stop outside, buses are infrequent. You'll rely entirely on taxis to get around, which is very convenient and relatively cheap in Hengdian, usually under 10 yuan per ride, and drivers respond quickly.
There are a few scattered shops downstairs, enough to meet basic needs like milk tea, coffee, convenience stores, and dining. Ordering takeout is also very convenient.
It's very close to Yingdu Hotel, just a 3-minute walk. If you're staying here to see film crews coming and going for makeup, it will be very convenient."
"At the entrance of Guangzhou Hong Kong Street, next to the Ming and Qing Dynasties Palace, I went to visit the Ming and Qing Dynasties Palace in the morning. I can go back to the room to rest at noon. I drove to the Qin Palace and Qingming Shanghetu in the afternoon. I returned to Guangzhou Hong Kong Street in the evening to watch the performance and walked two steps and came back. The room is clean, spacious and bright, no smell, WiFi speed is very fast, the TV can be directly cast screen, the equipment and facilities are all new and easy to use, the corridor and the sweeping robot keep cleaning, in short, it is comfortable to live. Of course, it is not to say that there are no shortcomings, but this price, this condition, this atmosphere, I can say that it is really fragrant! Originally, I had to pack my things and leave. I remembered to take pictures. I put the quilt up and turned on the lights and took a few pictures. I looked at it and wanted to lie down for a while. The front desk of Tips may be the ownerโs family to help see the store. The elderly may not know much about the things on the platform. If you have any questions about check-in, you can contact the owner directly. The person is very nice and caring. He said that he is still working hard to improve in many places. Come on!"
"The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding was soft, the service was intimate, the location was convenient, the living was very relaxing, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the quality of sleep was very good. The front desk service was thoughtful and welcoming, and the check-in was fast. The bathroom is clean and odorless, the hot water is stable, and the facilities are complete. Hotel location is convenient, it is very convenient to travel around to eat, come back next time ๏ฝ"
