I had just driven 2 hours and walked into check in. There was an altercation between the front desk staff and a customer. I felt very unsafe and uncomfortable. I walked back out to my car because I didn’t feel safe, the police came. I left to find a different hotel. I didn’t end up staying there. When I called to get a refund, the woman at Marriott wanted me to go back in to the hotel to cancel. I told her I felt to unsafe to go in, she told me she couldn’t give me a refund then. I hung up, very dissatisfied.
