Comfort Hotel Osaka Shinsaibashi Reviews

A typical small room for Japan. The bed was a bit compact, but the two of us fit just fine. The bathroom was very small, and it felt quite cramped. Breakfast was repetitive, but overall there was a decent selection — sausages, rice with vegetables, omelet, and some pastries. One of the best things about the hotel is its great location — just a 5–10 minute walk from Dotonbori Street. For the price, it was okay.

I recently stayed at Comfort Hotel Osaka during my trip to Japan. The location is excellent—just a few minutes’ walk from the nearest subway station, making it easy to access major areas like Namba, Shinsaibashi, and Umeda. The room was compact but well-designed, clean, and functional. The bed was comfortable and provided a good night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. The bathroom was spotless, with stable hot water and good water pressure. Basic amenities were provided and well-stocked.

Osaka was our first destination in Japan , and we’re glad that we chose Comfort Hotel Shinsaibashi. The hotel located is in the heart of the city and it’s quite in the close proximity to the major sights. We also enjoyed our breakfasts , thx!

Second stay at this hotel, the first being more than 6 years ago. Rooms are really dated by now but reasonably spacious for 2 mid-sized luggages except the tiny bathroom, which has a fair drop or step-up the room floor (seniors and children should exercise care). Despite this, we chose to return for its good value for money: great room cleanliness maintained, a perfect location within Shinsaibashi, 30 min 1-transfer subway ride to Osaka Expo, 10-mins walk from Nankai Namba Airport line or a 10-min subway ride on Midosuji line from Shin-Osaka Station, and most of all, a deliciously filling breakfast that varies throughout our 4-night stay. Also brownie points for staff who fulfilled our room request. Nice to have the night view out our window.

I stayed at Comfort Hotel each time when I came to Osaka; but I've found this time facilities are getting old, and cleanliness of room not up to previous standard. It is very sad to me as a frequent visitor.

Love the hotel! Is very clean, place is very convenient. 5 min from main shopping district and metro with lift is easy to find.

Compact room, the size is ok compare to the hotel in japan. Clean room everyday. I love the light breakfast in the morning.. not so variety but enough for start the day. The staff was friendly. Fast check in and out.

Daily breakfast is a plus. Location is great as it as very close to dotonbori.

Nice place for travelling. Book for five days four night. Hotel near the food street and have free breakfast. Breakfast are nice. Every day have clean new towels without cleaning the whole room. With laundry services which is very easy for traveller who had long staying there.

One of the best hotel in Osaka!! Easy to check in, staffs are all so kind and ready to greet you, their breakfast are also superb, plus everyday they clean the room and replace amenities, will definitely come back here again

Staff were very helpful. I liked that there was a secure locker where I left my back pack containing my family's laptops and gadgets in the reception area since we arrived few hours before check-in time. We also enjoyed the healthy breakfast served daily, they refill the food quickly when it gets near-empty. Location is also very good, there was Lawson beside it, several restaurants around it is near train stations. While the room design is not as modern as I hoped it would be, they are functioning very well. We also found the bed comfortable.
