Best Hotels in Osaka
Explore Osaka from hotels near iconic landmarks, popular shopping streets, and top dining spots.
Sotetsu Grand Fresa Osaka-Namba ★★★★
"The hotel is quite close to the subway exit, and check-in is self-service. There's a convenience store right next to the hotel downstairs, and a 24-hour duty-free shop across the street. Shinsaibashi is just a 10-minute walk away, so you can easily restock in the middle of the night. Like most budget hotels in Japanese city centers, the room is quite small, but you can slide your luggage under the bed. On the first floor, you can pick up complimentary toiletries, including lotions, emulsions, and facial cleansers. If you're just looking for a place to sleep and plan to be out exploring all day, this hotel offers great value for money. Highly recommended!"
Shinsaibashi Grand Hotel Osaka ★★★
"The hotel's main strength is its excellent location; Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi are both just a stone's throw away. Unfortunately, the rooms were quite small and a bit basic. The older gentleman at the front desk was a bit stiff and inflexible, but I became more understanding when I thought about how tough it must be to stand at reception at his age. Fortunately, I later met a young lady who spoke Chinese, and her attitude was much more pleasant. The hotel breakfast, however, was quite good."
karaksa hotel grande Shin-Osaka Tower ★★★★
"The room size was just right, the bedding was comfortable, and the facilities were complete. It's conveniently located with many great food options nearby, and there's a high-speed bus from Shin-Osaka Station. It's also easy to get to Arima Onsen in Kobe. "
Chisun Standard Osaka Shin-Imamiya ★★★
"Perfect location - Very close to Shin Imamiya Station for the JR and Nankai lines. They also let you leave your luggage on checkout day. And the breakfast buffet is good. I do not worry about the smell on my clothes when I go out because they provide fabric freshener spray. I availed of the 2-day Nankai pass to cover Kansai Airport, Namba and Koyasan because of this hotel. Will stay again next time I am in Osaka."
Smile Hotel Premium Osaka Higashishinsaibashi ★★★★
"I booked a triple bed room but one of the beds is a cot which is very disappointing. Breakfast is cheap and it makes sense. Worst thing is the service. Receptionists don't help guests make a short phone call for a reservation. On a check-out day, make sure you should bring your baggages except for one per person. THE WORST hotel ever I stayed in my whole life."
The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Osaka Midosuji ★★★★★
Enjoy an intimate escape where stylish rooms and cosy ambience set the perfect scene for couples.
The OneFive Osaka Namba Kuromon ★★★★
"Conveniently located within walking distance to main Namba station via underground walkway from Nippombash station only 100m from hotel. Amenities available for self collection near reception but no coffee or tea provided which is unusual. Room bit squeezy although King bed spacious."
ANRAN HOTELS & RESORTS ★★★★
"The room was clean and tidy, and fully equipped. There was a complimentary coffee and beverage buffet in the lobby, and it was very convenient for getting around. I'm very picky about mattresses because of my back problems, and I slept very comfortably in this one. Highly recommended!"
Osaka Ebisu Hotel ★★★
"🚎 Commute: Just a 1-minute walk from Ebisucho Station Exit 3 to the hotel! Super convenient! Dotonbori is only two subway stops away, or about a 25-minute walk. Hygiene: I was personally very satisfied, although the air conditioning had a strange smell for the last two days, not sure why. Housekeeping: They bring fresh towels and bottled water every day! Thumbs up! Honestly, I don't use that many towels, haha. They also clean the room and make the bed on the second day of your stay. Bathroom: It's quite compact, but the shower pressure is excellent, making for a refreshing wash. Taller or larger guests might find it a bit inconvenient. 🤓 In summary: The best choice for solo travelers! If I come to Osaka again, I'd recommend staying at this hotel. It's also very quiet at night; I was worried it might be noisy, but it wasn't at all. The guests in the neighboring rooms were all very considerate. 😇 🥹🥹 A wonderful trip to Osaka!"

Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka
"The room was a bit dated, but the location was super convenient. There's an airport bus stop and a subway station right downstairs. Plus, it's connected to a shopping mall, which made buying souvenirs really easy. The breakfast was typical Japanese fare. However, during my stay, there was a large American senior tour group, and the restaurant was incredibly noisy and chaotic."

APA Hotel and Resort Osaka Namba Ekimae Tower

Their hotel has a sky view at level 40, so make time have sky view of partial Osaka city."

Super Hotel Osaka Natural Hot Springs
"Facilities: The room, though small, was well-equipped with everything we needed. Plus, there's a public hot spring bath available. Free daily drinking water and complimentary drinks during happy hour in the evenings were a great bonus. Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean. Service: The service was also excellent."
Natural hot spring Asagiri no Yu Dormy Inn PREMIUM Namba ANNEX
"Japanese hotel rooms are generally on the smaller side, but always clean and tidy. I always choose Dormy Inn when I visit Japan because of their hot springs and the delicious ramen served as a late-night snack – it's the perfect way to recover from a day of shopping. This particular hotel is incredibly convenient, about a 10-minute walk from Shinsaibashi. The front desk even has staff who speak Chinese. Aside from not having daily room cleaning, the overall experience was truly excellent."
Spa World Hotel&Resort
"Right next to the busiest tourist area in Osaka and with access to large number of facilities., Spaworld is surely a top choice to stay. But actually, the day ticket only costs 1500 yen and overnight staying fee is 1300 yen, which means you don't really need to stay in the hotel to use everything and stay for a night, kind of like a SPA net cafe. The plus for using the hotel is that you allow yourself to enter anytime you want."
Hotel Forza Osaka Kitahama
"What I loved most was having a Starbucks and Krato bakery downstairs. Every morning, I'd go buy a bunch of pastries – I really enjoyed that. However, getting to Umeda by subway wasn't very convenient. It was quite easy to get to the Osaka Kids Plaza, though. Staying in Kitahama in Osaka definitely proved to be the right choice. There are many coffee shops along the river. Service: Self-service required. Environment: On a street corner. Facilities: There's a massager, which is actually quite small."

"hotel is very near metro station but not a lot of restaurants nearby. staffs are friendly and there’s welcome drinks at lvl 1 and amenities that are free to take. overall a very comfortable stay!"
