"The location is excellent, with two train stations nearby and about a 10-minute walk to Tennoji Zoo. However, we were a little disappointed that the shower was not working initially. That said, the administrator responded quickly and changed our room immediately, even late at night, which we really appreciated. We hope the administrator can check the facilities more carefully before future stays. Overall, we still recommend this place."

FFrancesca CindyHad a wonderful stay, room is spacious, link to a mall sheltered. A junction away from Yodobashi Mall and Umeda Train station. The rooms are reasonably big. Love the bathroom. Separate beds are slightly bigger than single beds. Linens are luxurious high thread count. Room Flooring is semi wood and carpeted. Coffee and Tea are complimentary, comes with full set of in room requirements, ironing set, luxurious bathrobe, bar fridge, comfy bedroom slippers, safe, V Sassoon hair dryer, full bathing and vanity kit, toilet cubicle is separate by a door, bath tub is of good size, separate shower water pressure is fantastic. Motorised linen blinds, daily bottles of water Here’s my favourite: Facilities include 24hrs of fully equipped gym all machines including leg machines, bar and free weights, gym balls, foam rollers, treadmill, elliptical, bicycle etc. Use of Bathhouse and indoor swimming pool included as part of the booking. Spa facial and massage avail at a fee. Lounge area is great with nice matcha latte. Had buffet breakfast in the morning, sufficient variety. Lotsa fruits choices. Building is exclusive luxury. Initial check-in process can be better and less rigid. Pre-paid room type if unavailable, guests should be informed ahead prior to arrival. Somewhere between Trip.com and the hotel miscommunication should not affect the hotel guests traveling 12 hours to reach there. Director of rooms Mr Liam Wynn Williams saved the day. Thank you very much for your kind hospitality to resolve the issue.

XXLbaoWe stayed at The Singulari Hotel & Skyspa at Universal Studios Japan during our 4th trip to Japan and our first traveling with our auADHD toddler. This was our second hotel in Osaka, and we arrived by taxi directly from our previous hotel. Taxi tip: make sure you show the taxi driver the hotel name and address in Japanese. Our driver initially dropped us at Universal Studios Japan instead of the hotel entrance and that cost us when it showed him the Google maps address. The hotel staff themselves were excellent. They deal with international guest on the daily and some speak English. Our forwarded luggage was received without issue and delivered directly to our room, which made arrival seamless. They have forms for luggage transport themselves that I used for our KIX airport hotel. Service throughout our stay was efficient and professional, and the staff clearly explained all hotel procedures. The biggest advantage of this property is its location. It is about a 10-minute walk to the entrance of Universal Studios Japan, which gives you a real edge if you plan to rope drop. The subway station is directly outside the hotel entrance, making transportation extremely convenient. Universal Citywalk is steps away, with Starbucks, Lawson, Bikkuri Donki (Great for familes by the way), shopping, and countless restaurants all within immediate reach. If you’re visiting USJ, I strongly recommend arriving at the park entrance by 7:30 a.m. We arrived around 8:30 a.m., and it made the first ride strategy noticeably more challenging. Luckily disability service helped a little as it was similar to Disney when you have to go to the Fast Pass staff to get a return time but USJ uses pen and paper. The earlier you position yourself for rope drop, the smoother your morning will be. Lines were extremely long and we were only able to see half the park. Unless you have 2 days at USJ, I recommend buying the Express pass packages as early as possible as they were all sold out the day of. Definitely a big regret as we only had 1 day there. The onsen sauna was of an average size. After long park days, it was incredibly relaxing. The baths are separated by gender, and there are no private rentable family spaces, so that’s something to keep in mind if traveling to onsen if you are not comfortable going commando with others. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom felt slightly dated but it was clean and fully functional. One thing I missed was having a small kitchenette and in-room washer/dryer. Laundry is available on the spa floor via coin machines, but in-room units would have been more better. On our second day, we made a day trip to Ghibli Park in Aichi, which took about 2.5 hours each way via Shinkansen and local transit. It’s doable but long. If your primary focus is Universal Studios Japan, this hotel is an excellent strategic base. If you plan multiple long day trips outside Osaka, you may want something more centrally located. I should have planned a day to stay at Nagoya for my Ghibli Park day. Overall, The Singulari is ideal for travelers prioritizing proximity to Universal Studios Japan, easy transit access (but not centrally located), and post-park relaxation in a quality onsen setting.

GGuest UserThis hotel is quite new with excellent facilities. The location is a bit hard to judge because I took a wrong turn coming from the airport. It's about a 10-minute walk from the hotel to Shinsaibashi for shopping. The positive review is for the male staff member who spoke Chinese. The female staff member who checked me in was very unfriendly and the process was complicated. The male staff member resolved the issue later, and his attitude was exceptionally good. Although I still don't understand what was wrong with the previous room, he eventually moved me to a family room, and I was able to check in smoothly. Some luggage can be left at the front desk, while others are required to be stored on the first floor in self-locking lockers. I'm not quite sure why there's a difference. The room facilities are excellent and very new. The breakfast is delicious, just like at other Tokyu Stay hotels. You pick up your toiletries yourself, and there's complimentary coffee.

GGuest UserTraveling in Japan with kids, I was originally looking for a hotel with convenient transportation. While this one is close to a subway exit, it takes a good 10-15 minute walk underground to actually reach the station platform. The hotel entrance is tucked away in a small alley, easy to miss if you're not paying attention – you have to walk down the small lane right under the big Ryukakusan sign. On the upside, the surrounding area is packed with amazing food, all sorts of delicious options, and there's a huge supermarket under the five major department stores. The 'late-night diner' noodle shop across the street opens at 10 PM, which is great for those returning late. As expected, the room wasn't very big; the triple room seemed to be a standard twin room with an extra bed squeezed in, making it quite cramped. We could barely open one suitcase. A unique feature of the hotel is the hot spring on the 3rd floor. Lots of people were going up and down to use it every day, but since we were out early and back late, we didn't get to experience it.

Eericachan888The location is quiet and close to two train stations, making it convenient for getting around. The staff are very responsible and respond quickly, even late at night. When we had a problem with the water heater in the early morning, they sent someone to fix it the next morning. The staff member in charge even spoke Chinese, which was very thoughtful and dedicated. There's a small balcony, which is great for drying clothes. If you like trains, you can also watch them pass by at the nearby station from the balcony. Downsides: The location is a bit too secluded. In winter, it gets dark very early, and there are very few dim streetlights in the residential area. There are almost no pedestrians, so as a solo female traveler, I felt a bit scared and had to return to the guesthouse early. There are no restaurants downstairs; you have to walk to find them. The water heater was troublesome; it's a storage type, so you constantly have to check if the water level is low and manually boil water, otherwise, you won't have hot water for a shower (I discovered this when the temperature was around 1-2 degrees Celsius, but once the temperature rose, the water heater didn't take as long to heat up).

GGuest UserIt's a good location for travellers looking to explore Osaka. It's close to Osaka Castle and the local underground lines while remaining within a reasonable distance of the city's main downtown district. It has all the needed amenities, fully furnished kitchen equipped with a stove, microwave, and all necessary cutlery, and coin operated laundry. While the dormitories are simple and functional rather than luxurious, they are consistently clean and well-maintained. The sleeping areas are sectioned off to feel private and quiet.

XXxyyfFourth time staying here, and this time I came during cherry blossom season. The price was great, and the hospitality was as warm as ever. I pretty much stay here every time I'm in Osaka. The only thing is there aren't many single rooms available, but the soundproofing is decent.
