Xige1993Extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel's location is super convenient, and the room was spacious, bright, and very clean. The bedding was so soft and comfortable, I slept like a baby all night. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to help with anything I needed. Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. The facilities are excellent, offering great value for money, and I truly felt at home. I'll definitely choose this place again next time and highly recommend it!

A fantastic Japanese-style guesthouse. The neighborhood is very quiet, and it's less than a 10-minute walk from the subway station. The room was impeccably clean, and with only one unit per floor accessed directly by elevator, it offered excellent privacy. The facilities were well-equipped, making it a perfect spot to experience Japanese culture. The host was wonderfully warm and attentive, and all the visual and written instructions provided were incredibly comprehensive. Highly recommended!

The location is extremely convenient. If you're looking for an old-school hotel vibe, you might find it here, but the facilities are really outdated – I couldn't stand them. The showerhead was in the bathtub and there was no separate shower, which was a real deal-breaker for me. I'll definitely stick to newer hotels from now on. The Japanese restaurant on the fifth floor was pretty good; I had sushi for a reasonable price, with 16k and 26k options available.

Guest UserThis was the most disappointing hotel of our trip… My friend and I had stayed here before, so I booked it again to save time, but the experience was terrible. The only good thing about it was the washing machine.
It's quite far from the station, about a kilometer's walk, which is very inconvenient. Plus, there's no elevator, only stairs.
The hotel's cleanliness also wasn't great. We were given a room on the lowest floor, the third floor, and the curtains were pull-down blinds that barely blocked any light. It started getting very bright around 5 or 6 in the morning.

Anonymous UserStayed for 3 nights, booked 2 nights and decided to extend. Location was prime, no complaints, with donki, takashimaya within a stone throw. Burger kind and lawson at the exit of the building. Glico man poster at the next street. We arrived early from Nara at about 11am and had to store our luggage at the self service room. That was swift. Returned at about 2:30pm and was informed that checkin is at only 3pm and the rooms are not available. If we want an early 30min check-in, we have to join their hotel membership.
That is something that took me by surprise. 3 rooms booking but only needed 2 member signup? If the room are not avail, does signing up matter? If the rooms are available, why made us sign up?
Nevertheless, i was promised a king size bed by Juliet (from desk) but presented with Queen Bed room - which was exactly what i booked. So why mentioned king bed? Confusing again.

ericachan888The location is quiet and close to two train stations, making it convenient for getting around. The staff are very responsible and respond quickly, even late at night. When we had a problem with the water heater in the early morning, they sent someone to fix it the next morning. The staff member in charge even spoke Chinese, which was very thoughtful and dedicated. There's a small balcony, which is great for drying clothes. If you like trains, you can also watch them pass by at the nearby station from the balcony.
Downsides: The location is a bit too secluded. In winter, it gets dark very early, and there are very few dim streetlights in the residential area. There are almost no pedestrians, so as a solo female traveler, I felt a bit scared and had to return to the guesthouse early. There are no restaurants downstairs; you have to walk to find them. The water heater was troublesome; it's a storage type, so you constantly have to check if the water level is low and manually boil water, otherwise, you won't have hot water for a shower (I discovered this when the temperature was around 1-2 degrees Celsius, but once the temperature rose, the water heater didn't take as long to heat up).

I had a very nice stay during my solo trip. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There are various of subway line nearby but need to walk like 10mins to reach. Room is nice, but need to be more careful about the cleaning.By the way,I still like the place and love to comeback to stay. It is worth the money.

Hannah R CHotel were offering late checkouts to guests who left 5* reviews, so I feel that the reviews have been artificially inflated by people rating 5* so that they can get late checkout.
Location was quite far from the JR Namba station and even further from the metro Namba station.
The bed was really hard and uncomfortable.
Bathroom was tiny, kitchenette had a raised lip which was easy to trip over or stub your toes on. However, the size of the room was good, there was a good amount of space.
It would be ok to spend a night or two here but I think we were there 5 nights which wasn’t great with the uncomfortable bed.
When we checked in we were told a room number of an uncleaned room and had to ring out of hours to swap rooms, but that was all resolved quickly by the hotel.
Also to note, the keyboxes didn’t feel very safe/ secure because the codes followed a pattern (so if you knew one you’d know the other rooms), but we didn’t use the lockbox except for when we checked in so it didn’t affect us, but just something to consider.
Overall it was ok for a budget hotel but I think the reviews make it seem too good to be true!

There was no TV, but it was great to have a projector.
When filling the bathtub, it was the type where you have to turn a faucet and adjust the balance of hot and cold water. I felt the water was cooler than the set temperature, so I ended up taking a lukewarm bath. I think this would be a bit tough on a cold day.
The reviews mentioned there were no pajamas, so I brought my own. It would have been even better if it said 'no loungewear' in the amenities section.

XxyyfFourth time staying here, and this time I came during cherry blossom season. The price was great, and the hospitality was as warm as ever. I pretty much stay here every time I'm in Osaka. The only thing is there aren't many single rooms available, but the soundproofing is decent.
