From the moment I stepped through the hotel entrance, I felt right at home! Every single staff member treated guests with genuine care and attentiveness. The room size was also the biggest I've ever had in all my trips to Japan! The pajamas provided by the turndown service were incredibly comfortable too! The hotel's night view is also one of the best around. Highly, highly recommend!

Francesca CindyHad a wonderful stay, room is spacious, link to a mall sheltered. A junction away from Yodobashi Mall and Umeda Train station.
The rooms are reasonably big. Love the bathroom. Separate beds are slightly bigger than single beds. Linens are luxurious high thread count. Room Flooring is semi wood and carpeted. Coffee and Tea are complimentary, comes with full set of in room requirements, ironing set, luxurious bathrobe, bar fridge, comfy bedroom slippers, safe, V Sassoon hair dryer, full bathing and vanity kit, toilet cubicle is separate by a door, bath tub is of good size, separate shower water pressure is fantastic. Motorised linen blinds, daily bottles of water
Here’s my favourite: Facilities include 24hrs of fully equipped gym all machines including leg machines, bar and free weights, gym balls, foam rollers, treadmill, elliptical, bicycle etc.
Use of Bathhouse and indoor swimming pool included as part of the booking. Spa facial and massage avail at a fee.
Lounge area is great with nice matcha latte. Had buffet breakfast in the morning, sufficient variety. Lotsa fruits choices.
Building is exclusive luxury. Initial check-in process can be better and less rigid. Pre-paid room type if unavailable, guests should be informed ahead prior to arrival. Somewhere between Trip.com and the hotel miscommunication should not affect the hotel guests traveling 12 hours to reach there.
Director of rooms Mr Liam Wynn Williams saved the day. Thank you very much for your kind hospitality to resolve the issue.

Travel is fun 2026This hotel is wonderful. The location is excellent and easy to access to JR line, metro or even bus at the JR Osaka station.
The shopping ball next to the hotel is a gem. I almost have my dinner at Kitte Osaka every night and you could find pizza, sushi, ramen, grilled
chicken skewers, steak, hot pot, sweets and even decent Japanese kaiseki at this place.
The hotel staff is attentive and helpful. When I ask for a paper box, they provide thick tape and assistance to me when going down to the Post Office which is right next to the hotel.
The minor thing about this hotel is the water pressure of the shower head. The top rain shower head is powerful but somehow the hand shower head power is marginal and not acceptable for such 5 star hotel.

Anonymous UserRWe chose this hotel specifically to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We requested a higher-floor room in advance, but unfortunately it wasn’t provided. There was also no special setup or decoration in the room, and the front desk never mentioned anything about it.
The room view was average, and the hotel is a bit of a walk from Shinsaibashi Station. The elevator had a noticeable unpleasant odour when going from the ground floor to the 3rd floor. Overall, the experience was just average.
For comparison, we stayed two nights at another hotel during the same trip that was slightly cheaper, but the overall feeling and quality were noticeably better than at this W hotel.

Anonymous UserThis hotel is super convenient with two subway lines nearby, one of which is literally a one-minute walk from the exit. Getting to Shinsaibashi, Umeda, or Namba is a breeze. There's also a convenience store just a two-minute walk downstairs. They provide bathrobes and even have a large public bath for soaking. The only minor downside is that they don't provide small samples of makeup remover or skincare products, so you'll need to bring your own. Overall, I'm very satisfied!

This hotel, once a magnificent building, perfectly embodies the concept of 'chrysanthemum and sword' from Ruth Benedict's book, blending English elegance (chrysanthemum) with Japanese precision (sword). Its story and impact far exceed that of an ordinary hotel, reflecting the twilight glow of a bygone empire.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is a bit off the beaten path, but transportation is still convenient. It's a 10-minute walk to Tenmabashi. The complimentary cookies at check-in were delicious! The room layout is well-designed; we could fit a stroller and open two large suitcases comfortably. Plus, the baby cot was free, though it needed to be reserved in advance.

Zacku24For the price point per night per pax, you would expect the onsen to be included in the amenities, but it is actually chargeable. Pretty absurb in my opinion. The hotel has a pretty space, but is just too far off from the main area in Osaka. Pretty nearby to the Tennoji Zoo and Shinseikai area. Being a 5 star hotel, you would expect the staff to at least have alil english language proficiency, but that is not the case.

SRjuneI arrived at 10:30. It was sunny so everything looked really nice! The staff is so kind and gave me the room right away so was even more impressed. The hallway is lined with carpet, but doesn’t smell stuffy. The room is spacious and well design. I love that they have a little lounge area by the bed. The room doesn’t have a bathtub, but I find it really nice because lately I have been very skeptical and a little bit scared to use Hotel’s bathtub so I think taking it out is good. The room even have steam iron. The glass that is provided in the room is good quality very thin. They have an espresso machine in the room as well, which is a nice touch. The location is a little bit off, but not that bad.

Facilities: The lobby is very stylish, though the room is a bit small, especially the bathroom where there's hardly space to turn around. However, the bed is huge, made of two single beds pushed together, and it was the most comfortable sleep I had on this trip.
Cleanliness: It's very clean.
Ambiance: It's considered one of the more upscale hotels in the area, with many foreign guests staying here.
Service: Overall, the service was very satisfying.
Location: The location is also very convenient; Hankyu + Lucua are all you need for shopping.
