Guest UserWaldorf set the tone for the entire luxury hotel in Osaka, it deserves the highest praise. From the moment you step out of the car upon entering the hotel, the emotional experience is flawless. Upon reaching the reception area, the hot towels and tea are a first thing you'll find that sets it apart from other luxury hotels. This attention to detail is so thoughtful; it shows how much they understand that after transportation, travelers can perform a handwashing ritual, representing not only physical cleanliness but also a reminder of mental well-being. It's fantastic. The only suggestion I could make is that having someone sit down during check-in would be better than standing at the reception desk. Other staff members who left a deep impression included Yui and another girl who showed us to our room (I don't remember her name, but I do remember she taught me that Yui's name is Y and I; she was all smiles, in high spirits, and explained the hotel facilities very well, greatly reducing any sense of unfamiliarity as a new guest). Since we returned to the hotel quite late that night, we mainly went to the bar near the back entrance for drinks. The bartenders were very attentive, and the welcome drink was delicious. When leaving the hotel, the staff throughout the journey were attentive. Because our next destination was relatively close to the hotel, the staff at the entrance (I forgot his name, but I remember he was short and had braces; his performance that day was perfect) arranged for a hotel car to escort us there. The driver was Italian, very professional, and had an excellent attitude. Words of gratitude are insufficient to praise this outstanding driver. If a hotel's maximum score is 5, I would give it a 6. It truly embodies the image of a luxury hotel and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I will definitely return on my next trip. I am grateful for everyone's efforts throughout the journey.

Francesca CindyHad a wonderful stay, room is spacious, link to a mall sheltered. A junction away from Yodobashi Mall and Umeda Train station.
The rooms are reasonably big. Love the bathroom. Separate beds are slightly bigger than single beds. Linens are luxurious high thread count. Room Flooring is semi wood and carpeted. Coffee and Tea are complimentary, comes with full set of in room requirements, ironing set, luxurious bathrobe, bar fridge, comfy bedroom slippers, safe, V Sassoon hair dryer, full bathing and vanity kit, toilet cubicle is separate by a door, bath tub is of good size, separate shower water pressure is fantastic. Motorised linen blinds, daily bottles of water
Here’s my favourite: Facilities include 24hrs of fully equipped gym all machines including leg machines, bar and free weights, gym balls, foam rollers, treadmill, elliptical, bicycle etc.
Use of Bathhouse and indoor swimming pool included as part of the booking. Spa facial and massage avail at a fee.
Lounge area is great with nice matcha latte. Had buffet breakfast in the morning, sufficient variety. Lotsa fruits choices.
Building is exclusive luxury. Initial check-in process can be better and less rigid. Pre-paid room type if unavailable, guests should be informed ahead prior to arrival. Somewhere between Trip.com and the hotel miscommunication should not affect the hotel guests traveling 12 hours to reach there.
Director of rooms Mr Liam Wynn Williams saved the day. Thank you very much for your kind hospitality to resolve the issue.

Guest UserThe hotel is located between Shichome and Morinomiya, about a 10-minute walk to both subway stations. You can take a bus to Umeda, and it's very close to Osaka Castle.
Dining options nearby are limited, with a few cafes and sushi restaurants that all close after 10 PM. There are no convenience stores in the immediate vicinity; the closest ones are near the subway stations. However, there are plenty of vending machines in Japan, so getting water is easy.
There's no airport shuttle service, and I didn't encounter any staff who spoke Chinese. Nevertheless, the check-in process was very smooth.
The breakfast was quite extensive, primarily Western-style with some Chinese dim sum. It's semi-buffet; drinks and some dishes need to be ordered using the QR code on the table, which brings up a Chinese menu. The restaurant environment is very pleasant. There seemed to be a teppanyaki section, but I didn't try it.

sam733This was my second stay, and I really love the hotel's style. The ambiance is elegant, and the surrounding scenery is beautiful; you can take a walk along the river. There's a coffee shop on the ground floor of the plaza, and breakfast is also good. There's a shuttle bus to Osaka Station every 20 minutes, making shopping super convenient. The service is five-star standard, as expected from a long-standing local hotel. Don't miss the hotel bakery on the ground floor. If you check the map, there's also a century-old unagi restaurant nearby, though it's a bit far. The subway station isn't too far either. Overall, a great stay!
Facilities: The hotel is older but very well-maintained!
Hygiene: Good, though they forgot to provide pajamas on the last day!

Guest UserThe hotel's location is superb. It's a convenient 3-5 minute walk to Osakajokoen JR Station, making it easy to get anywhere. There's an elevator inside the station that goes directly to the exit. After exiting, you walk about a hundred meters along a corridor to another elevator that takes you to ground level. Cross a small bridge and an intersection, and you're at the hotel. This is incredibly convenient if you have large luggage. The hotel is situated on the northeast side of Osaka Castle Park, by a small bridge, so you can easily stroll along the castle moat anytime. Shopping and dining are also very convenient. Cross the overpass from the park's south exit, and you'll find Q's Mall. There are also countless restaurants if you walk to Kyobashi Station (and along the way). For airport transfers, take the JR line to Tennoji, then transfer to the JR Loop Line (red), and it's just six stops to Osakajokoen Station.
The hotel's cleanliness and facilities are excellent, especially the soundproofing – it's very quiet. The mattress and pillows are just right, providing a great sleeping environment. The hotel service is highly professional, from the front desk and restaurant to the lobby and concierge. The breakfast is a rich blend of Western and Japanese styles (though the coffee was a bit weak). I stayed for seven nights in total and had a fantastic experience.

Anonymous UserRWe chose this hotel specifically to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We requested a higher-floor room in advance, but unfortunately it wasn’t provided. There was also no special setup or decoration in the room, and the front desk never mentioned anything about it.
The room view was average, and the hotel is a bit of a walk from Shinsaibashi Station. The elevator had a noticeable unpleasant odour when going from the ground floor to the 3rd floor. Overall, the experience was just average.
For comparison, we stayed two nights at another hotel during the same trip that was slightly cheaper, but the overall feeling and quality were noticeably better than at this W hotel.

The location is extremely convenient. If you're looking for an old-school hotel vibe, you might find it here, but the facilities are really outdated – I couldn't stand them. The showerhead was in the bathtub and there was no separate shower, which was a real deal-breaker for me. I'll definitely stick to newer hotels from now on. The Japanese restaurant on the fifth floor was pretty good; I had sushi for a reasonable price, with 16k and 26k options available.

himhim_The view outside the hotel is absolutely stunning, offering a 24-hour panoramic view of Osaka Castle. The room amenities are quite luxurious, and the breakfast is incredibly rich and varied. Ms. AKI, in particular, was so enthusiastic and lovely, really bringing energy and joy to the guests. The location is a bit far from the main shopping areas, but you can't have everything. My only suggestion would be to have more staff at the front desk for check-in during peak times when there are many guests.

cici0414The hotel was very clean, and the front desk staff were all incredibly nice and super patient! The location is really convenient – you just take the Karasuma Line to Shijo Station, and it's right outside exit 6. There's a Starbucks, a Torikizoku (yakitori restaurant), and a drug store right by the hotel entrance. Daimaru department store is only a few minutes' walk away, and if you keep going past Daimaru, you can reach Shinkyogoku and Takashimaya. I originally booked three nights but ended up staying a whole week! It's not noisy at night, except for the occasional motorcycle. Highly recommend! The first picture shows the hotel's location.

This hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations; it's almost on par with a five-star hotel. I've stayed in many capsule hotels, and this one is the best. The large public bath has everything you could possibly need, they even provide swim trunks! Razors, toothbrushes, hand towels, bath towels, pumice stones, exfoliating mitts, and multiple types of facial cleansers – they have it all. Can you believe there's even an open-air bath? They also offer massages, but those are extra. And seriously, they even have a blood pressure monitor! After showering, you can grab a drink and some noodles, which can be charged directly to your room. The luggage area has a huge packing table, with space underneath for oversized luggage (I didn't use it so I don't know if there's a charge). The lounge area has sofas for watching TV, and even a smoking section – it's incredibly convenient! Right outside the hotel is Umeda Higashidori Street, where bunny girls invite you to all-you-can-drink deals, and there are all sorts of food options around. The capsule itself is quite spacious, and the bedding is incredibly clean – I mean five-star hotel quality clean. I don't understand why the rating is low; for me, the only 'downside' is that there are too many amenities and services to explore before I had to check out. For a capsule hotel, the service is almost too much! One final friendly tip: you'll still need to buy your own toothpaste...
