Amazing stay. This felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Exceptionally modern and absolutely spotless throughout. The pods were so big you could keep all of your belongings with you and still have space. The toilets and showers were super clean with all the amenities you could need. The staff were really lovely, attentive and very helpful. The location was amazing - walking distance to some of the main spots to visit in Osaka. Social space and cafe on the ground floor, with free tea and coffee and public baths on the top floor which was a lovely touch. They’ve thought of everything. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. The only thing to be aware of is how hot it is in the pods - I had to buy a little plug-in fan as I was struggling to sleep due to the heat. I spoke to reception and a gentlemen was very helpful and turned the heating down for me, however it made very little difference - however this is the only thing to be wary of. Everything else was perfect.

IAN OBOLENSKIII really liked the ventilation in the capsule. It was cold in the hallway where the capsules are at night because the air conditioning was on. There were no odors, so the capsule itself felt fresh too. I'm not sure how the ventilation is set up, but I was pleased with it. The common area on, I think, the 10th floor was usually empty, so I could sit and eat alone, which I also liked.
After this, I stayed at a couple more capsule hostels in Japan, and this one was the best in terms of the capsule design and living area.
My only complaints were with the kitchen and cooking facilities. But for sleeping, it's an excellent option. The showers and toilets were great too.

Guest Userthe room is ok, the location is reallly great as its directly connected to modosuji namba station, and so so close to dotonburi area!
The public bath and spa is also great, it opens till 3am so can use right after your walk!
Though it cant be locked, and only can close it with somwthing like 'magnet curtain', i tend to put my luggage at front counter before i went out.
The rules are strict as there is literal no noise cancellation, eg, no phone call, no alarm in room.
Yet there are tons of free amennities like earplug, razor, combs, even nosestrips for sleeping, which is really great!
Overall great experience if you trust the safetiness and prefer quiet nights.

DarinDarwishThis was not my first hostel experience, and I have to say, I was a bit disappointed.
Let’s start with the positive aspects first:
The location was absolutely perfect — I don’t think you could find a better place to stay in Namba. Everything was close by, and getting around was very easy.
Also, the staff were extremely, extremely friendly, and we received fresh towels every day, which I really appreciated.
Now, onto the things that bothered me:
First, the cleanliness: It wasn’t really clean. In the showers, there was always a lot of hair and dirt in the gaps where you enter and exit, which was quite unpleasant.
During my stay, someone vomited in the public sink area, and it was not cleaned up overnight — it was still there even at 10 a.m. the next morning. Because of that, the house smelled strongly of vomit for a while.
That night, and in general, there was often an unpleasant smell in the kitchen area as well.
Without wanting to discriminate, I noticed that many older people were staying at the hostel (since apparently there was no age restriction). Some of them would loudly clear their throats and spit phlegm into the sinks, even early in the morning, which was quite disturbing and unhygienic.
Another issue was the temperature: The room was extremely hot at night, and since so many people were sleeping in one room, the air became very stuffy. Even inside your capsule, it was uncomfortably warm.
One last point: On the day of arrival, the address on Trip.com was wrong, which made it very hard to find the hostel. It took me almost an hour and a half to find it, especially because it was very hidden with no clear signage outside.
I really hope that in the future, there will also be an age limit for guests.

Guest UserThe bathhouse and sauna were excellent! After a day of exploring, a good soak and steam were exactly what I needed. The water temperature was a bit on the hot side, so it took some getting used to. However, the shower faucet was a bit inconvenient as you had to continuously hold it down. The facilities were generally well-equipped, but disposable slippers had to be purchased separately, so I'd recommend bringing your own. The luggage storage area was quite small, and if you arrived late, there was often no space in the room, meaning you had to leave your luggage in the stairwell.

Andrei SmirnovEverything is fine exept the thinnest and hardest pillow I've ever seen in my life. A bit old amenities add a touch of true charm to here. They speak a bit English.
The only unpleasant point was my communcation about the locker key I couldn't find in the morning. They immediately asked me to pay 7.000 yen as for lost item, not even suggesting to wait for it to be found by staff or guests, as I hadn't left the premises. Of course, the key was found by someone very soon.

This hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations; it's almost on par with a five-star hotel. I've stayed in many capsule hotels, and this one is the best. The large public bath has everything you could possibly need, they even provide swim trunks! Razors, toothbrushes, hand towels, bath towels, pumice stones, exfoliating mitts, and multiple types of facial cleansers – they have it all. Can you believe there's even an open-air bath? They also offer massages, but those are extra. And seriously, they even have a blood pressure monitor! After showering, you can grab a drink and some noodles, which can be charged directly to your room. The luggage area has a huge packing table, with space underneath for oversized luggage (I didn't use it so I don't know if there's a charge). The lounge area has sofas for watching TV, and even a smoking section – it's incredibly convenient! Right outside the hotel is Umeda Higashidori Street, where bunny girls invite you to all-you-can-drink deals, and there are all sorts of food options around. The capsule itself is quite spacious, and the bedding is incredibly clean – I mean five-star hotel quality clean. I don't understand why the rating is low; for me, the only 'downside' is that there are too many amenities and services to explore before I had to check out. For a capsule hotel, the service is almost too much! One final friendly tip: you'll still need to buy your own toothpaste...

The room was spacious and the neighborhood was quiet, yet not too far from the subway station. Wandering through the small streets felt very much like being in Japan. The front desk staff was incredibly patient and communicated with me using a translator. The bathroom and shower were very clean. However, it's worth noting that this room only has a private shower, not a private toilet.

Kya014riI stayed here for work at the Osaka Expo.
It's only two stops from Yumeshima Station, and it's about a 5-minute walk from the station, so the location is great.
It's also a great place for people going to the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan.
There are convenience stores around the station, and many restaurants, although they aren't open late.
However, the check-in process was a pain.
I checked in using a tablet, and I thought, ”Is this really what I get for the price?”
The walls are also thin.
The bathroom door shakes when you close it.
There is also no ventilation fan, so when I opened the bathroom door after a bath, the room was fogged up.
My room was by the window, so I could hear all the voices from outside.
There was no TV in the room.
There was individual Wi-Fi in the room.

The location is very convenient, right in front of Zoo-mae Station and within walking distance to Tennoji. The room was very simple, just a tatami mat. My room had ventilation, but the heater wasn't working, so the room was quite cold. The restroom was shared by both genders, and there was only one... The shower situation was the most inconvenient. Women could only use the bathroom for one hour, from 9-10 PM. Because there are more male guests, men had a longer shower time (5-9 PM).
