My English isn't very strong, so checking in was a bit difficult. Thankfully, we met a kind young woman living nearby who helped us out by communicating with the host over the phone, and we managed to get checked in smoothly. The beds were adequate, though the room felt a bit cramped. Of course, we only chose this place for the free parking. For first-time visitors to the UK, I really wouldn't recommend driving. It's such a hassle, parking is incredibly difficult to find everywhere, and your hotel choices become very limited if you need parking.

The location is within walking distance of many places if you enjoy walking. Even though I walked around 20,000 steps during the day, I didn't hesitate to walk back. If walking is too tiring, there's a bus stop right in front of the place, as it's on the main street. I stayed alone in a double room with a private bathroom. If you're traveling with a partner, the room itself will seem small, but the bathroom was clean and functional. The only issue was that when you set the showerhead to cold, almost no water flows. When you set it to hot, the water flows with pressure, but you could make tea with the hot water. For me, someone who prefers showering with cold water, it was quite a pain. If you turn it a quarter centimeter towards hot to make it flow a little more, the water gets quite hot, but I still can't say it flows fast enough. The room and bathroom were clean, and I didn't see any dirty areas in the guesthouse. Overall, my experience was good.
