Very lovely place with friendly host

10/10. An utterly charming rural countrystay. Everything was excellent, down to the breakfast in the morning. Best of all, however, was the graciousness and generosity of the host. Thank you for helping me with transport and suggestions, I had the best time in Pai.

Lovely place about 4 km from town. It's a short ride and a beautiful place with clean, well equipped cottages and a lovely green area. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful, and there's a great viewing point up a hill nearby. If we come back to Pai we'll try to stay there again.

This resort is perfectly located a few short miles from the busy activity of Pai town and major tourist attractions. The bungalows are spread across the landscaped terraces, separated by flowering trees and fish ponds. The resort sits among the rice fields of the Pai River valley, with views of mountain ranges on two sides. The setting is peaceful -- with the sounds of tree frogs, wild birds, geckos and the occasional farm animal providing a natural orchestra. The new owner, Vanda, is a fantastic hostess and goes out of her way to make sure your stay is comfortable and you have the information you need to make the most out of Pai's many attractions. In Jan 2023 the resort installed new, spring mattresses and upgraded internet service and wifi technology to the best available in Thailand. The free, high-speed wifi service is available resort-wide, making the Pond Terrace a perfect shared workspace for digital nomads and those traveling for work. The breakfast options (included in the price) included Muesli with yogurt or honey, French Toast, or full American Breakfast. Fresh tropical fruit from local farms is included with each. Finally, the coffee options included American coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte made from freshly ground coffee beans from northern Thailand. We have lived and travelled in Thailand for 8 years. This resort ticks all the boxes! We will return--often!

The location is a bit far from the center, not within walking distance. However, many foreigners will walk to the central business district. There is a Thai restaurant around, about two kilometers away, but we didn't have enough time to go there. The female boss is very friendly and will give you a vague map to introduce the surrounding attractions and specific locations. (If you contact in advance, there should be airport pick-up service, you need to contact the hotel yourself) Note that you must plan your travel time well, and the hotel will not refund or change. The hotel also has a motorcycle rental service, about 40 to 50 RMB a day. Pay attention to the quality of the car when renting a car. It costs about 20-30 RMB to refuel once. We rented for two days and refueled once. Inside the room, there are no toothbrushes or other toothbrushes, but there is a kettle. If you go, you need to bring your own mosquito repellent

A wonderful resort in the Chiang Rai area. Spacious and clean rooms, bath and shower with hot water and good pressure, wide bed. Responsive administrators.

It is a small oasis, but it is only 10 minutes away from the city by scooter. The host Vanda is very friendly and gives great tips for the trip.

When we arrived, the hostess inquired about our itinerary in PAI at the beginning of check-in, and took the initiative to provide us with a hand-drawn map of PAI to help us arrange our itinerary. When she learned that we already had our original itinerary, she was very upset that she could not do more for us. Even after learning that we planned to go to BanJaBo the next morning and were unable to enjoy breakfast, A breakfast was packed directly in the evening for us to enjoy when we set off! The hotel service is good and it is a small hotel with few rooms. The garden is beautiful and the breakfast is good! It is far away from the town center and is suitable for self-driving tourists. It was very quiet at night, and the map of surrounding attractions provided by the hotel during check-in was very detailed.

Suitable for self-driving and beautiful environment. There are some parts of the trip where you can’t get a taxi and it’s a relatively remote road.
