I arrived at the hotel before check-in time, but the front desk was very accommodating and let me leave my luggage in the room. This made it so much easier to get around from early afternoon onwards, which was a huge help. Also, it is very close to Pamukkale. The staff were also very kind. When I asked for advice on my plans for the next day, they suggested sightseeing spots and even arranged a taxi for me, allowing me to spend a truly satisfying day. Thank you very much.

The hotel's location is good, not far from the main attraction, but I still had to search for it. It's good that it's off the main street, so it's quiet. The hotel is quite 'tired'. I had a room with a wonderful view, but the room's contents: the linen, especially the towels, were washed out to a grey color. The shower (see photo) only had one showerhead, and the 'rainforest' one was just a head without a connection. The bedspread had a hole, the laminate flooring had cracks, not all the wardrobe handles were there, and the TV didn't turn on... If none of this bothers you, then for a 1-2 night stay, considering the price, it's tolerable.

The room was spacious and clean, with powerful air conditioning and a rich breakfast. The owner was friendly. Although the hotel isn't large, the facilities are quite complete, with a clean swimming pool and a comfortable courtyard. Among the many cats at the hotel, there's a particularly cute tabby who is far more sociable than us humans. It plays with everyone tirelessly, charming all the guests.

It's hard to find this quality at this price point. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff greeted us kindly. The breakfast was also good for the price. The best part was that the hotel helped us book a hot air balloon ride at a reasonable price. Thank you, Melrose Hotel, for making my trip to Turkey so memorable.

The hotel seems new or at least recently renovated. My room was really lovely and very clean. The 24/7 pool is, in my opinion, a remarkable amenity. The location is truly perfect for exploring the Pamukkale site (just a few minutes' walk). Breakfast is served at the table and is plentiful and varied (the photo I'm adding below is missing the eggs, the Turkish flatbread with spinach and cheese and all drinks, especially hot çay). But the real highlight of the hotel is the staff—everyone was truly kind. In particular, Büsra, the girl at reception, answered all my questions impeccably the morning before my visit to the site, and in the afternoon she let me recharge my phone and enjoy the pool a bit longer even though my stay at the hotel had already ended. I also recommend it to families with children because, as in addition to the pool, they can pet the kittens roaming around it (during this period, there was even a little kitten) P.S. During my stay, there was just a small issue with the Wi-Fi in the room. I notified the owners, and they said they would try to fix it soon

The hotel is well-located, with views of the travertines from the window. It's a quiet place. The pool is clean, and the hotel smells fresh inside. The building and furniture are not new, but everything is clean. The staff is very good and always ready to help. There's no elevator, but if you need help with luggage, the hotel staff will assist. When we were checking out, the lady at the reception asked us to wait and called her brother to help. Breakfast is Turkish – omelets and various appetizers. Coffee is from a drip coffee maker. Parking is convenient. There are many dining options within a 5-10 minute walk. Don't stop at the first couple of places for lunch; you'll find more variety and cheaper options further down.

This hotel in the hot air balloon town is super convenient. The front desk helped us book a car to Salda Lake, airport shuttle, and hot air balloon rides – all without prior reservations, which was amazing! Their breakfast is delicious, with rose jam and flatbread. I even made my own 'hand-grabbed' pancake, totally satisfying my Chinese palate. I also made milk tea with milk and Turkish black tea, adding a bit of honey, and it tasted exactly like Hong Kong milk tea – I'm quite the foodie! The only issue is that the facilities are a bit old, but not dirty. Honestly, most other guesthouses and hotels in this town are pretty average anyway, so this one stands out as the best of a bad bunch and is definitely worth considering. The restaurants in this town are all terrible and surprisingly more expensive than in the capital. The same menu items are miles apart from what you'd find in Istanbul. Except for one Chinese restaurant owned by a Shanghainese boss, located between the town entrance and a bunch of A*** hotels. We ate there twice in 3 days and were so satisfied – the Sichuan cuisine was incredibly authentic! A special warning about the Pamukkale thermal spring entrance tickets: there's a scam! The ticket office at the park entrance brazenly scams people. It's supposed to be 30 euros per ticket, but they try to trick you by saying they don't accept euros, only Turkish Lira – this was the first time we encountered not being able to pay in euros in Turkey. My husband suggested paying by card. After swiping, the staff member said he'd give us two headphones for an audio guide inside the park. I suddenly remembered seeing this scam mentioned in a Xiaohongshu guide. The headphone cost is actually built into the card payment! I quickly calculated how much we'd just been charged. It turned out they charged us 75 euros for two tickets, which is 15 euros more than the original 60 euros. Was I crazy to pay 15 euros for two crappy headphones? I immediately demanded a refund, firmly telling him I didn't want the headphones. After receiving the refund, we paid again for 60 euros. I'm writing this in my review hoping other visitors don't get scammed! Throughout Turkey, including Istanbul airport's metro card booths and the Grand Bazaar, scams are prevalent. Always be wary of strangers striking up conversations and ignore them! Absolutely do not let locals help you operate the card machines! They will secretly buy an extra card for themselves because metro cards can also be used at convenience stores! Prices in the Grand Bazaar are 10 times higher than in regular supermarkets! Do not go in there! It's Turkey's version of a 'cutting cake' scam. Before picking items, we'd ask for the price, and they'd just say it's by weight, without telling us the price per box. After they packed and weighed it, they demanded 800,000 Korean won, which is equivalent to three nights' accommodation in a Spanish hotel! They then tried to guilt-trip us, saying that since it was already packed, we couldn't refuse to pay or put it back. I told them to call the police because it was a scam and I wouldn't pay a single cent! We stood there for half an hour. They were big and tall, clearly trying to bully Asians. But seeing how resolute I was, they eventually let me go. These scams are mostly in tourist areas; we didn't encounter them in regular residential areas, where there are generally more good people. But definitely be on guard in tourist spots!

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Hierapolis. You can see Pamukkale from the room. The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak and the showerhead was a bit old, but it wasn't a major inconvenience. Breakfast wasn't a buffet, but a plentiful Turkish home-style meal.

Seriously, Chinese people don't lie to Chinese people. I got bitten all over my back by bed bugs – first time ever in my life! As soon as I got to Kas, the next city, I immediately bought medicine and high-temperature disinfected all my clothes, and sprayed all my luggage with alcohol. The rest of my trip was filled with anxiety, constantly worried I'd carried the bugs with me. I even sent a private message to the hotel afterward; I don't know if they saw it. Their service attitude was very good, and I know they tried their best, but for me, this experience was truly terrible. I was driving on a road trip, and my back was constantly itching, then it became red, swollen, and inflamed. It's been almost a month since I returned home, and the dark marks on my back still haven't disappeared. I really couldn't hold it in anymore; I had to leave this review. If the hotel doesn't handle this properly, more people will get bitten. All the clothes in my suitcase that weren't isolated were thrown away, not to mention the discomfort throughout the journey. This was truly the worst experience of my Turkey trip. The picture shows my back on the first day I was bitten, before it became red, swollen, and inflamed. In the following days, it swelled up, and even I was disgusted looking at it. What makes me sad is that the hotel staff were genuinely good people, and I know they didn't want this to happen, but it did. I'm writing this review now because I just couldn't keep quiet. Please, hotel, do a thorough disinfestation.

Everything was simply superb. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, about a 10-minute walk to the travertines. They helped us call a taxi to enter from the northern entrance (they said it would be better than walking from the very bottom, and that was definitely the right advice!) The rooms are clean and cozy. From the windows, you could see both the travertines and the hot air balloons taking off in the morning. Very beautiful! They were very polite and accommodating to us. Definitely recommended!

The hotel is cheap and spacey, it looks cute in general. The bed and pillows were ok :) the room is generally clean and also I feel safe. I think people wake up early like 5-6 to go to the airport. There is decent pool. There are walking distance for everything , cafes , shops, restaurants. (I recommend Indian restaurant called 7 spice nearby, it s so so so good )
