Pangkor Laut Resort - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

Food taste average but pricey. Restaurant staffs over welcoming till we feel very uncomfortable. We are looking for a quiet place and good atmosphere to enjoy our dinner but on and off the staffs come to distrub 😔. We stay at hill resort and at night, rat 🐀 is visiting us. Except the above, the surrounding environment is peaceful and quiet, suitable for short staycation to relax.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pankor Laut Resort, and it has quickly become one of my favorite destinations. The island itself is stunningly beautiful and a relaxing atmosphere that is hard to beat. One of the highlights my stay was the incredible selection of restaurants available on-site. Each dining experience was a delight, with food that deserves a solid 5-star rating. The variety of choices ensured that there was something for everyone, and I enjoyed every meal! The hotel management deserves special recognition for their dedication to providing outstanding service. They truly go above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcome and taken care of. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Our room was immaculate and incredibly comfortable. The cleanliness was impressive, and the bedding was top-notch, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring. Having stayed in many hotels before, I can confidently say that Pankor Laut Resort ranks number one on my list. They excel in every aspect of hospitality—friendliness, cleanliness, breathtaking scenery, and fantastic food. Thank you for providing a 10 out of 10 stay! I look forward to returning soon 😊.

The overall experience was great! Staffs were all very welcoming, polite and helpful. If you are looking for a chill, quiet and relaxing trip, this is it! The environment is pretty secluded and not overcrowded, all you can hear would be the wave and birds’ chirping. Breathtaking views with adequate facilities and excellent services! Even though the room was not ready at 3pm, the staff offered us drinks and snacks at the bar while waiting and keep us updated on the progress. The lounge at the jetty and luggage service were perfect too saved us so much hassle! The only thing to pick on I would say is the car park at the marina jetty. I understand PLR has no private parking for customers. Nevertheless, just to feedback that I think 46rm for 24 hrs is overly pricey for a parking lot without shelter and only manual paying machine is available.

Love the view especially the beach and friendly staff. For family with small kids especially using stroller not recommended to booked Hill Villa because quite far plus need to use a lot of stairs. The furniture quite old, no bidet in the room, bathtub outsode in the room cannot use and the food quite pricy.

Pangkor Laut Island is like stepping into a dream. The scenery is stunning, and the resort itself is top-notch. The food is out of this world, and the staff make you feel like royalty. Sure, the rooms have a bit of an old-school vibe, but honestly, it adds to the charm. Plus, they're spotless. And let's talk about the Sea Villa – staying in a room perched over the ocean is just unreal. If you want a getaway that feels like paradise, this is it.

It would be helpful to include some tips for visitors on your official website, such as how easy it is to catch a taxi from the city to the port, and that spa appointments should be booked in advance to avoid unavailability on the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great welcome reception by friendly stuff. Breakfast was good with good spread. The island free guided walk was fun and informative!
