This is the last hotel we stayed in Paris. It has a big bed and is very quiet. There is a Turkish restaurant and a Korean restaurant nearby. We like this hotel better than the last one. There is a book bar on the first floor. It is very quiet.

The hotel is in a very good location, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station. The area is very safe, and it is no problem to go back around 10 pm. The bakery opposite is cheap and good, and there is a queue on weekday mornings. Except that the overall hotel facilities are relatively old and the rooms are relatively small. There is nothing else to complain about. In general, this price is still very cost-effective in Paris.

The room is old and lacks facilities. The key is that the sound insulation is so bad that I can't sleep at all. The walls are like paper

This is a 200 year old hotel with all the bells, buzzers and whistles. Wonderful European breakfast. Sweet wait and front desk staffs. My wife and I were treated like family. We stayed a week and touched most bases while there. Only negative was that there were no English speaking channels and changing the language was not possible so it became quite frustrating.

We really liked the location. Easy walk to restaurants and boulangeries. We didn’t add on breakfast for $20 which was a good idea because of the bakeries and cappuccinos close by. We traveled with friends and both asked for street side rooms. They got street and we got garden side. Their room was spacious and ours was teeny. Had to move furniture to get to the refrigerator. They had a shower and ours was handheld. It would spin while you were trying to hose off. When I asked about the fact that we made the same reservation I was told you get what you get and they were the same price. People have mentioned the AC. It worked the first day and that was it. It was in the 80’s while we were there. The good thing about opening to the garden was we could have the window open. Our friends had to deal with traffic noise. The hot water was out for about 10 hours. Looked like they kind of had a bar so we asked for a glass of wine. They only sell bottles and didn’t have much on the list. Bought a half bottle for 20 euros. The staff was very nice but with things breaking down I’m sure it is tough. Apparently it is very popular with tour groups. Maybe they get the nice rooms. Not sure if I would stay again.

Nice helpful staff. Hotel is quite typical of most Parisian hotels I’ve stayed in in that there are plumbing issues and tight spaces associated with older properties. Whilst a little frayed around the edges the hotel has a lot of character and is close to the metro and is even walking distance to several sights. Breakfast was simple but sufficient, again comparing somewhat more favourably with the many other hotels I’ve stayed in in Paris over the years.

False advertising- NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! This is the most miserable I have ever been. It is a sauna, 90 degree in my room. Do not stay here, there are hundreds of other places to stay. Just awful. Of course no refund or discount. Worst is I asked for another fan and was told there was only one per room. Just ridiculous.

Great, quiet hotel. Not sure if it’s 4 stars. More like 3 to me but overall nice experience.

The hotel was clean and very charming, an older building in a great location; lots of families. Very close to Villiers Metro station, so easy to get anywhere in Paris. Very friendly staff; good breakfast.

This charming little hotel on a quiet side street near Parc Monceau was unexpectedly lovely. Newly renovated rooms and common areas are very nicely done. They are fresh and clean but retain an old-world feel. The staff was unfailingly friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet in the morning was very nice. My room was spotless and the bed was so comfy. Right across the street is a wonderful boulangerie as well as a wonderful traditional bistrot, Le Coin. Closer to Parc Monceau is an upscale restaurant Magnum 150 cl I'd also recommend. Wonderful!

Good location and nice staff (mostly). Breakfast was fine, nothing to remember but it was something to eat. No interest in finding food for people with allergies. Rooms are very poor. The rooms have no soundproofing whatsoever, everything is dirty, broken, and extremely old. No care goes into maintaining this property. Bugs and moths in the 150 year old cupboard. Sorry, this is absolutely not anything near a 4 star hotel but they charged us 250 Euro a night for the experience anyway. We had meetings nearby so put up with it all but honestly, the room was appalling.
Response from Property: Madam, I a really surprised by your comment : I personally went to buy gluten free bread and almond milk for you at the Front Desk request on the day of your arrival. We have offered them to you the following morning : you refused the almond milk and barely ate the gluten free bread. Moreover, when seeing the number of plates on your table but also on your chairs during the breakfast service, it clearly did not demonstrate that you did not like it ! So, we honestly thought, that you enjoyed breakfast as well as our other customers. Finally, you just forgot to mention the fact that the price you paid was for 4 persons, not 1 or 2. We talked several time together at the Front Desk, in particular regarding your booking at the Arc de Triomphe. When I asked if you were enjoying your stay, you told me you did. It is really unfortunate to express your discontent after your stay than during it. We could have proposed you a Superior family room for instance, and find a solution together at that moment. Regards,
