Huidong Hotels with Parking

We stayed here as a family during our trip through Guangdong. The hotel has some strengths, but I wouldn’t consider it a high-end resort. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff were always friendly, attentive, and quick to help with any questions. Service was definitely one of the best parts of our stay. However, the hotel itself didn’t meet our expectations. It is not located directly on the beach, and the beach area was not very clean during our visit. The swimming pool is relatively small and mainly designed for children, so it isn’t ideal if you’re looking for a relaxing resort atmosphere. The hotel was also very crowded with families, making breakfast and public areas quite noisy. Breakfast offered a good variety of food, but it felt more like a busy cafeteria than a four-star resort restaurant. The seafood buffet dinner was disappointing. The seafood quality was average, and some dishes, including the fish, were served in very limited portions. The location is another drawback. It takes a long time to reach the hotel from either Shenzhen or Guangzhou airports. Personally, I think there are better beach destinations around Shenzhen where you can enjoy a similar vacation without spending hours traveling. Around the area, taxi prices for tourists also seemed inconsistent, so I recommend booking activities through the hotel whenever possible. Overall, I think the hotel offers fair value for the price, but I would rate it as a good standard family hotel rather than a luxury beach resort. It is probably a better choice for Chinese families traveling with children than for international travelers looking for a quiet seaside holiday. I would rate my overall experience 3 out of 5.

Our stay at the Seaworld Seaview Room in Xunliao Bay was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless and well-equipped. It's just a few minutes' walk down to the beach, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The value for money was incredible, and the service was warm and attentive. We'll definitely choose this place again on our next visit.

The entire property is styled in an Italian fashion, predominantly white. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Right downstairs, you'll find the Lover's Promenade and a long stretch of beach, making it one of the best spots to enjoy the sunset. The owner provides incredibly thoughtful and attentive service. As a special touch, they even offer a sweet dessert soup in the evening before bedtime.

Taking advantage of the holiday, my friend and I chose Huizhou for a relaxing getaway. We picked a hotel with sea views, and our stay was fantastic! The room was spacious, and the facilities were complete. The balcony offered a wide, comfortable view. We added the hotel's concierge, Steward Xingxing, and she was incredibly prompt in resolving any issues, even proactively asking if we needed assistance. The service was truly attentive 👍. Also, we didn't get a chance to try the complimentary spring water experience this time due to timing, but the Yidishui Library was really beautiful. All in all, highly recommended!

The ocean views were incredible! The room was clean and spacious, and watching the sea from the balcony was absolutely fantastic. The price was very reasonable, and the service was excellent. We had a really comfortable stay. The beach is right downstairs, making it super convenient for any seaside activities. We'll definitely choose this hotel again for our next stay.

The hotel is very close to the beach. Except for the inconvenient water heater for bathing, the rest is pretty good. There is a convenience store and food stalls downstairs, which is very convenient for dining. The beaches in Huizhou are so beautiful. I want to stay a few more days next time.

For the room size and the location right by the sea, it was genuinely a great deal. You can really see the potential here – but like many other reviews mention, the property is clearly aging. Where it falls short is the service, which feels lacking. The breakfast, in particular, was expensive for what was offered, especially for foreign travellers. The selection was limited, and the only thing we truly enjoyed were the noodles. The beach itself could be beautiful, but it desperately needs cleaning. It’s also heartbreaking to see so many surrounding businesses shut down – the area felt desolate and sad. On a positive note, Lima House on the ground floor was absolutely amazing. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, and cozy, with very new and well-equipped facilities. The only minor issue is that it gets quite busy on weekends, especially the elevators and restaurants.
