The whole village of Songzhuang Village is not as big as Yangjiatang, and it is far away from the county seat, so there are fewer tourists. Relatively speaking, the visiting experience is very good. There is an ancient arch bridge in the village that was rated as a secret place in the south of the Yangtze River by National Geographic Magazine. It is covered with greenery. The moss is very beautiful from a distance and up close, and there are a lot of people taking pictures! We took a group photo with Xin and Lixia’s dog mother 123 on the bridge. The hotel is amazing, beautifully decorated, very well situated right next the cableway entrance, situated in a very lovely village, the view from our room was lovely and peaceful. The hotel is super confortable and very clean. But above all, what made our stay unforgettable was the very warm welcoming of the owners that made us feel like home. The hotel is in central location, walking distance to the old part of town and surrounded by food options. All rooms face a busy intersection with traffic and commerce noise starting early in the morning until 10pm. Windows will block part of noise but not all. Gym is just a pair of treadmills, don't expect a workout space. Staff is very attentive and willing to help. Beds, pillows and sheets are comfortable and the shower is good. However, if you are not a smoker, I don't recommend staying here, nor in any other Ji hotel. I travel extensively and tried Ji hotels in several Chinese cities from North to South. They are consistent with service, cleanliness and bed comfort, but all of them have a major issue of not enforcing the non smoking rule, and besides that, their air conditioner system brings smokey air from different rooms directly into yours. It is a pity. Unfortunately, beautiful China is full of selfish smokers. We need better enforcement and at least air purifiers in each room.

The boss is very friendly and the place where you stay is very close to the entrance of the scenic spot. There are also many restaurants around. If you drive by yourself, you need to inform the license plate number one day in advance, and the boss will reserve a parking space for you, which is very convenient. If it is your first time to visit, the boss's wife will tell you the guide. In short, this experience is very good, the accommodation is good, and the scenery is good.

This village is still in the early stages of development, and its simplicity is its biggest feature. When we arrived at the place, the door of the cultural relic-level old house was closed, and the villagers who led the way pushed it open and called out the owner loudly to let us visit and introduce it to us. The B&B we stayed in was the first B&B in the village. It was built entirely out of logs and was designed and constructed by the host himself. When we walked around the village, we found other B&Bs under construction. It turned out that the host was helping to build houses for others. . The proprietress' cooking skills are very good, hotel-level. Our two families, four adults and two children, went out to play together. When the boss saw it, he took the initiative to upgrade us to a large suite, two independent suites plus a living room in the middle, and a small yard in front of the door. On August 15th of this year, I spent admiring the moon, drinking, drinking, and singing in this small courtyard. I will never forget it! Good accommodation doubles the travel experience! When I left, I said I wanted to write a long review for my boss, but after I came back, an elder in my family passed away, so I didn’t write until now. My boss, forgive me! The room decor is warm and lovely, but the stuffed animals, throw pillows, and backpacks in the family room are not single-use or brand new. For example, the cartoon slippers had dirty soles. Upon inquiry, we were told these children's items are reused. The hairdryer in the hotel wasn't powerful enough, and there was no coffee machine, only instant coffee. To get to the swimming pool, you have to go down to the 5th-floor lobby, then go to the other side of the world to take another elevator. The pool hygiene wasn't great; there was trash in the lounge area, a lot of standing water on the floor, and a strange smell in the changing room. We stayed on a weekday, and the breakfast wasn't very rich. Local specialties like Jinyun flatbreads were not available; instead, Wenzhou's glutinous rice and fish balls were offered daily, which we found hard to understand.
