Highly recommend this place. No children and very quiet. The host will share good tea and chat with you all day if you like. Of course you will also get to see the famous cat, who is very chill. Clouds are always moving around and touching the mountain tops. Very pleasant views. ***Make sure to try the fish dish at the “small” restaurant upstairs from the hotel-the one with the red lanterns. Food is excellent. *** 15-20 minute walk to Chanjiapu and half hour to Xikeng.

Service: The lady boss is very enthusiastic and the auntie is very simple. When the business is not run for the sole purpose of making money, everything seems better. Environment: The whole village is very comfortable. The B&B is located upstream. There are 1990s tapes playing in the lobby, which makes you feel like you have returned to 30 years ago. There is also a tea table on the second floor, which is very comfortable to sit on on a sunny day. Hygiene: Clean and tidy, it is one of the best in B&Bs. Facilities: There are only two small regrets. One is that the catering industry in the village is a little depressed. The farmhouse at the door is a real farmhouse. The village grandmother made a plate of pig's trotters by herself, which was a little hard to bite. Second, there is a lack of a charging station, so I have to go to the county town to charge. I hope the boss can install a paid charging station at the door. In fact, the cost is not high.

This was by far the most delightful stay of our trip. Staying in an old house within an ancient village offered a truly unique experience. The old house was incredibly well-preserved, and every decorative detail showcased the owner's thoughtful touches. The room itself was thoughtfully modernized to suit contemporary guests, and yes, it really, really, really had a smart toilet! 🚽 We had dinner at the guesthouse both nights, ordering from the owner. While the prices were a little higher than outside, the ingredients were exquisite, the preparation was refined, and the dining atmosphere was wonderfully atmospheric. The food itself was very satisfying. (I absolutely loved the tofu, which is apparently a local specialty). Also, when you're exploring the village, don't forget to say hello to the local dogs! 🐶 They're all very friendly, and we became good pals with them over our two-day stay.

The B&B is located at the highest point of the mountain. It happened to rain during the two days of the trip. I thought I would be able to see the sea of ​​clouds the next day, but it turned out to be foggy when I woke up early. But I was not disappointed. Chenjiapu has a unique flavor when it rains, and the view from the room is great. It's the best. It's a refreshing day hiding in the mountains away from the city's atmosphere. If you like a different Chenjiapu, don’t complain about the bad weather, enjoy the moment, wear a jacket and get wet in the rain, at that moment freedom reaches its peak. Another thing to mention is that the boss was so nice. He introduced us to the village when he arrived late that day, called us in advance to ask what time we would arrive, and even helped us carry our luggage. Although it was only a day trip, it gave me the best feeling! I think I will definitely come back next time, and I must come to catch the sea of ​​clouds!

All rooms face a busy intersection with traffic and commerce noise starting early in the morning until 10pm. Windows will block part of noise but not all. However, if you are not a smoker, I don't recommend staying here, nor in any other Ji hotel. I travel extensively and tried Ji hotels in several Chinese cities from North to South. They are consistent with service, cleanliness and bed comfort, but all of them have a major issue of not enforcing the non smoking rule, and besides that, their air conditioner system brings smokey air from different rooms directly into yours. It is a pity. Unfortunately, beautiful China is full of selfish smokers. We need better enforcement and at least air purifiers in each room.

The hotel is amazing, beautifully decorated, very well situated right next the cableway entrance, situated in a very lovely village, the view from our room was lovely and peaceful. The hotel is super confortable and very clean. But above all, what made our stay unforgettable was the very warm welcoming of the owners that made us feel like home. They were taking care of us like parents would do, helping us with many things, they were absolutely lovely. Will never forget our stay there, thanks to them for making our stay there unforgettable.

We loved our weekend stay here as a quiet and green nature getaway from Shanghai (3hr train ride). We arrived late in the evening, but the provided taxi service from Qingtian was great (40mins, 80rmb). Our host Nancy was so sweet, spoke great English, made us wonderful coffees and even took us on a little tour of the village and vegetable gardens. The accomodation is in a small village with 500yo houses, where mostly elderly people still live. We went on two nice 2-3hrs hikes, to the waterfalls and temple and towards another village. Food was great too: lovely rice flake porridge and many other things for breakfast, free tea and snacks, and in the evening we got a lovely noodle soup. Our lastminute vegetarian request was easily accomodated. Bed and shower were lovely and a good heater was provided to warm the room. Would definitely recommend, we hope to come back in spring to see the flower fields!

What a surprise! It exceeded my expectations. It felt like visiting a history museum; it was my first time staying in such a century-old house. Highly recommended. The housekeeper mentioned that the second-floor suite in the innermost building was originally built for a sanatorium for ** (a person's name, likely a typo, should be 60 years old). The scenery and atmosphere are fantastic, and the octagonal pavilion is over a hundred years old. This was an ancient post station; choosing to stay here in Longquan is definitely worthwhile.
