cherylzcWhat a pleasant surprise, definitely five stars! Firstly, the facilities are excellent, probably because it was newly renovated last year. I really like the German-style decor! Secondly, the service is superb. They pay special attention to guests with children and ask for minor's information just in case, which is highly commendable. The staff are also very polite and make you feel welcome. The breakfast is great; the mackerel dumplings are delicious, and the fruit is very fresh. I particularly love their coffee; it's very aromatic, and there's also a coffee machine in the lobby, which is very convenient. If any friends come to Weihai, I highly recommend this hotel!

Anonymous UserThe hotel is located in the downtown area, with convenient transportation and parking. The only drawback is that there is no charging station. The room is comfortable and suitable for a family of three. There is a refrigerator and a mobile clothes drying rack. The house has plenty of light, no odor, and is very quiet at night. There are two large windows on the east and south sides, and you can see the sea. Free cucumbers 🥒, tomatoes 🍅 and other fruits are delivered every day. There is also yogurt. Good value for money. Worth recommending!

Guest UserThe room was spotless, and even the water glasses had paper covers. The bathroom exceeded my expectations, with a wet and dry separation, a heated towel rack, and a smart toilet seat. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and proactively offered recommendations for local restaurants when asked. Oh, and I think the housekeeping staff's service level surpasses that of five-star hotels. They left handwritten notes to communicate when guests were out and even provided local fig tea for us to sample. The breakfast selection was also very rich. This Baile Hotel seems to be a chain in Shandong; I've seen it all the way from Dongying, Penglai, and Yantai to Weihai. The only minor drawback is that the self-service laundry's dryer could be replaced with a more efficient model (like LG, Hilton Garden Inn's dryers are quite efficient). The hotel's location is also excellent; Huancui Pavilion is just about 1 km behind it, and from the higher floors, you can even see Liugong Island.

JennyJennyJennyyyyyySuper Convenient Location!
This place is in a prime spot! It’s incredibly close to both the bus station (coming from Yantai) and the high-speed railway station (coming from Qingdao). You can easily walk there in less than 10 minutes, which made traveling so hassle-free.
Smooth Check-In & Lovely Room
The property is inside a condo-style building that hosts multiple hotels. For this one, just head up to the 12th floor to check in. I arrived early around 11:00 AM, and they kindly let me check in right away! The room itself was very spacious, clean, and fully equipped with amenities. It has a nice window, and you can adjust the AC yourself, which was great.
Great Amenities & Helpful Staff
The staff were wonderful and super helpful via WeChat, making communication so easy. The location is also fantastic—it’s right near the Hanlefang Pedestrian Street. There are about 3 convenience stores right underneath the building and 3–4 restaurants nearby, so finding food or snacks is never an issue. Plus, getting to other tourist attractions by taxi from here is super convenient!
Summary: Perfect location, great facilities, and wonderful service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Weihai! 💖

It was great to stay in this hotel in Weihai for three nights. The location is very good, just opposite the Weihai Campus of Shandong University. You can reach the No. 1 Beach and Torch 8th Street by crossing the campus. The most satisfying thing is the food and beverage in this hotel. The breakfast is super rich and delicious. By the way, the hotel also offers a set meal of sea intestines and rice. The price is acceptable and it is also very delicious. If I have the chance to go to Weihai, I will stay in this hotel again. When I left the hotel, I was given a gift bag of snacks that my children love to eat. It was full of sincerity.

A 20-25min walk from Weihai Railway station, this 26 storey apartment has 4 fast lifts and located in vicinity of Korean Town. Plenty of Korean food and stuff around. Checked in to the reception on 21st Floor, but stayed on 20th floor with a good view of the Korean night market. The room was big, tastefully furnished with all usual amenities, king size bed, clean linens, disposable bath and face towels, disposable room slippers, non slip bathroom slippers, bottled water and even had a bar fridge and small washing machine. Plenty of sockets and USB ports, shelves, clothes hangers, table and chair, 2 bedside tables. Room is new, bright, clean and airy, with big windows. Best of all, the price was super cheap, the cheapest we got during our recent trip around Shandong province. Nearby, we found a Deep 5 cafe that sells cheap, good bread and pastries. The shower only has a shower curtain separating the toilet. Lack of hooks in toilet/bathroom for hanging clothes/towels.

Anonymous UserThe views of Yuan Lake are fantastic, and you can even spot the high-speed train. My partner and I were very impressed with the Chinese restaurant's dishes. The 'Old Chef Cabbage' brought back childhood memories of home-cooked meals, and the 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork) was quite authentic, though the batter was a bit thick. The sour radish and tripe dish was a great appetizer.
The only minor drawback was that during the May Day holiday, there were a lot of families with children. The hotel's soundproofing isn't great, and the kids upstairs were running and jumping until past 10 PM. Plus, there was a persistent metallic noise coming from the ceiling.

Posted on Jan 28, 2026|180° Sea-View Twin Bed Room
KittenMacMuffinThis stay was amazing. The room was very spacious and extremely clean, with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The shower was large with strong water pressure, and the beds were very comfortable. The room was also nicely warm, which was especially important for us as we stayed during winter.
The absolute highlight was the huge panoramic window with a stunning view of the wrecked ship. The hotel is located right on the beach, making it easy to be among the first to take photos of the ship in the morning. Having a bathtub placed in front of the panoramic window created a truly unique and atmospheric experience.
The hotel also has a lovely café in the lobby with delicious food and drinks. While the breakfast was a bit simpler than a typical European buffet and required some waiting, it was still a nice addition to the stay.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Overall, this hotel offers fantastic views, comfort, and a memorable atmosphere—I would definitely recommend it.

Guest UserThe hotel is quite remote. We were planning to go to a few less crowded beaches, but since the hotel has its own, we were tired so we didn't go out and just played here. There is an outdoor infinity pool with seawater, which is a bit dirty. Since we came from Xianghai, the beach here is not clean enough, but it is still OK to swim. The facilities in the hotel rooms are relatively old, but the sea view room is in a good location with a small balcony, which is very comfortable. Two tickets for the bathing at Yingzhiyu were given, mainly because the children wanted to go to the swimming pool, and the children had to pay extra, half-price tickets. The breakfast was very simple, with few varieties and average taste. We rested and played for a night, and the full moon was resurrected, and the children were also very happy. In addition, the service here is also average. The car will help take down the luggage when it arrives, but it is still up to you to do it yourself, including when you leave the hotel. If there is a problem in the middle, you will have to wait a long time before the things are brought over. Maybe there are too many guests and too few service staff, not timely enough, and you need to wait. It is not the most satisfactory, but it is much better than the Xianghai Howard Johnson where I stayed the day before. Xianghai Howard Johnson is garbage. This one is really good and can't be better in comparison, and the price is about the same.

This hotel was recommended to my friend and booked. I only want to talk about one question this time: my friend is visiting the beach and wants to have lunch nearby before returning to the hotel to check out. After consultation with our hotel, we want to extend the stay for 2 hours (for free), even 1 hour is fine, because the friend returns to the hotel after dinner Checking out is convenient and saves time. The hotel declined (late check-out) and said it was not allowed according to hotel regulations. Normally, check-out is at 12 o'clock. My friend had to rush back and check out first, and then rush to the beach (to have dinner). If you can't even meet the basic requirements of guests (many hotels in the industry have delayed check-out until 2 pm or even 3 pm), why should you open a hotel? At the same time, after several days of observation, the hotel occupancy rate is not too high. These are not issues of the quality of front desk staff, but management issues that should be reflected on. (no pictures)
