Great
MMonica WoongThe location is okay, about a 15-minute walk from Heidelberg Central Station.
The room was very spacious. I really liked the pantry area – it had everything we needed: a small fridge, dishwasher, induction cooker, coffee maker, and full kitchenware. Very convenient.
The bathroom was also large and suitable for elderly people or anyone needing extra care. It had heated floors, good hot water, and strong water pressure. The only downside was no toiletries like toothbrush or comb, but they do provide basic items like tissues and toilet paper.
The bed, pillows, and blanket were comfortable. The room light was a bit dim when the curtains were closed. It would be nice if slippers were provided. The air conditioning and heating worked very well.
The price was fair for Germany. Breakfast costs £17 if you book in advance, or £19 if you walk in. The breakfast had a wide variety of standard European options.
DDatoumeimeiFirst time in Heidelberg, I wanted somewhere with good transport links, so I booked this hotel right next to the train station. As other reviews mentioned, the front desk staff weren't very enthusiastic. They initially gave us a room on the first floor with a broken window. After discussing it, they moved us to a higher floor, which was much better. It's a hotel apartment, so being able to cook for ourselves was a nice bonus!
ZZhangxiaowang1988Whether it is a short-term travel or a long-term stay, this hotel can take into account work efficiency and comfort. It has joined my list of preferred business trips and is recommended to business partners who also pursue efficient experiences!
GGuest UserI booked a hotel a month ago, and I didn't choose to cancel at any time because I had to go out. But on the day of booking, my friend asked me to stay at her house, and when I asked, the hotel said I couldn't cancel. I told them that it was my birthday and I wanted to change my plans at midnight, but they wouldn't let me cancel. I feel like Ctrip members are useless in Europe. The hotel didn't let me cancel according to the policy, and I have no problem with that, but I will never choose Leonard next time. This was my first and last visit. It looks very close to the old town on the map, but it's not. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the train station, and the old town is about the same. I personally think the location is not good either. There is only one Aldi supermarket nearby, and Kaufland is about one stop away.
GGuest UserHeidelberg is worth visiting, it is a very comfortable city. First of all, the hotel is very close to the highway exit. Although it is on the side, it is very convenient to go to the central square. Parking on the roadside is free. The front desk guy is very humorous and street free. Of course, if you want to be safe, you can also park in the parking lot next to it for 10 euros. Secondly, although the room is small, it has everything. The bathroom is still OK and not crowded. The family room for three people is enough and feels quite warm. Finally, Heidelberg is beautiful in the morning. Walking on the Philosopher's Trail and overlooking the entire old town of Heidelberg is still very impressive. In addition, Heidelberg Castle is also worth going up. Looking at the old town from here, you can take pictures of the red bricks and white walls on the postcard.
CcclantianHotel front desk service is very good. It is a very old hotel, the key we used feels like the 18th century. Most rooms have terraces. It feels like a typical German country-style hotel with a good view around. It is about 10 minutes drive from the King Lake boat ride and about 30-40 minutes walk.
The bed is soft and the bathroom is small.
GGuest UserThe location is central on Hauptstraße which meant we could walk the old town and shop/eat/site see including the Old Bridge.
The reception was helpful and responsive, and the accommodation was quiet
GGuest UserBasic hotel, well located in the city. walking distance from the train station and from the old city/down town. Only draw back is that room had a very week mobile phone signal.
韦韦Maintenance is underway near the railway station. In the past, the hotel had to cross a small bridge;
The room is more spacious. Compared with the hotels in Frankfurt, the heating in the room is sufficient. The front desk of the hotel has bread and coffee every day, which can be taken for free. The croissants are delicious;
The hotel breakfast is 10EUR/person, which is not suitable for the Chinese stomach and the variety is barren; there is a dining cart on the road in front of the hotel, and the roasted chicken legs are not bad, 2 euros apiece.
Overall recommendation.
GGuest UserThe location of this hotel is great, and the front desk people were nice too. But the facility was way below either the industry standard or our expectation - the knob of the shower was falling down, the curtain was also falling down and could not close; the reading light switch had no handle; and the shower drainage was blocked (see the photos) ---- shockingly this is in Germany!! Very, Very disappointed.
