We booked a King suite for 2 adults and 1 child and were put in the “Tower” area Rm#391 of the Hotel. The parking lot for this area sits behind a vacant commercial building that has some sketchy looking people hanging around, Drugs? ************? Homeless? were our first thoughts, the chain link fence that divides the properties is leaning over in spots giving the appearance that it has been climbed over several times and there appeared to be several vagrants in the area on the streets. We booked here for the use of the hottub which was not working and was told that the jets quit working the night before, which I have my doubts as this property is in desperate need of attention from the maintenance department. The outdoor lock of the tower building that you need your key card to enter is damaged and loosly hanging on the wall and the key card would not open it. Upon not being able to enter and reporting to the front desk they were already aware and said that it can be very temperamental. So we had to enter through the lobby and walk through “the maze” to get to our room. The walls throughout the property have several areas that need attention to cover the damaged paint that lend to the appearance of an old, tired, run down hotel. The sheets on the bed appeared clean. But the room itself needs attention. The bathroom ceiling was badly water damaged with pieces hanging down that was covered up with paint and deep scratches on the wall above the toilet. The corners of the floor in the bathroom need attention as they are collecting dirt and debris. The carpet in the bedroom is very old, loose and rippled creating a tripping hazard. The window sheers had two large vertical tears and several burn holes. The wall paper is separating in several areas and peeling away from the wall most notably in the upper corner of the bedroom. There were no visible outlets or charging stations near the bed. While searching for an outlet for my husband’s bi-pap machine we accidentally pulled the the very heavy oversized headboard off the wall thinking it would move with the bed. The headboard was only attached with two small screws that were easily pulled out of the wall. We immediately called the front desk to alert them of the accident. (Apparantly we’re not getting back the $100 deposit) The kitchenette area of the suite has very worn out cabinets, the vinyl flooring sounded and felt sticky when walking on it. There was a table in the suite but no chairs to sit at. There was no bedding or pillows in the closet for the sofa bed (we fell asleep and our 17yo daughter didn’t realize she could open the sofa bed even though she was told; but a pillow and bedding in the closet would have helped. Overall very dissapointed with the 1 night accomodations at the “Resort” rate of $463 +$100 deposit. This property appears to be an old Holiday Inn Suites that had some new paint slapped on it and they called it good. Would not recommend this property and will NEVER stay here a

Just got back from a trip to New Mexico that took us to Albuquerque for one night. So glad I booked this hotel and would highly recommend it! Traveling with my Dad, the suite at this hotel was a great (and more affordable) alternative to booking two rooms. There was a door between the main bedroom and a ”living” area with a pullout sofa, so we each had our own space with our own TVs and separate bathrooms. I took the bedroom which I found to be clean and comfortable. Interaction with the front desk staff was especially pleasant. They were genuinely friendly and helpful. Did not try the breakfast because one of my favorite breakfast restaurants, Village Inn, was right next door. Overall, a really enjoyable stay at an exceptional value!

My company hosted a four day event from Tuesday, September 20, 2022 to Friday, September 23, 2022. Erika in catering went above and beyond to make our event run as smoothly as possible, doing the job of multiple people. After the AC not working in one of the conference rooms for two days, Erika took the initative to switch our event to a different room with working AC. During the lunch rush in the hotel restaurant, Erika was taking orders, serving drinks, bringing out orders, and busing tables for 30 to 40 people, at times by herself, with no complaints, only apologies for being understaffed. Erika is truly an asset to this hotel, a joy to work with, and always has a smile on her face. On another note, the hotel is shabby. AC didn't work in the Lounge on the club level and at times in my room.

The parking lot is large, open-air and free. The room is large, but the decoration is rather old. The overall service is good. It is located on the outskirts of the city. There are many restaurants nearby and it is safe.

This hotel is a living museum, with all the modern day comforts. Everything was exceptional in this hotel, from the staff, to the restaurants, to the fitness room and the pool. Bed linens and pillows were very comfortable, and bathroom was well appointed. This by far is the best place to stay if you are in Albuquerque.

I really enjoyed my stay at this property, and was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable accommodations and amenities. It was convenient to check in via the Hilton Honors app and use the digital key system to access the hotel and room. The King suite was surprisingly spacious, with the bedroom separated from the living room/kitchenette. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The kitchenette was stocked with coffee maker, microwave, fridge/freezer, a few place settings, some utensils, and two cooking pots. The living room sofa was comfortable. Bed and pillows were also comfy. HVAC system worked well. There were enough outlets and some USB charging plugs. My only room complaint was low water pressure in the shower (possibly a water-saving feature). The hotel was fairly quiet. My room was on the side of the property facing Cutler Ave, and there was no traffic noise. Just occasional noise from other guests. The lobby and breakfast area were inviting. Coffee was always available in the lobby, which was a nice touch. The complimentary breakfast had a wide array of items, and even some local favorites like green chile stew and tamales. The hotel is in a fairly quiet area that felt safer than other parts of town. There were warnings about not leaving valuables in cars, but no overt problems. The hotel is conveniently located near a large shopping center and many restaurants. There is a Trader Joe’s within close walking distance. There is even a cat café close by. Most Albuquerque attractions and the airport were a 10-15 minute drive. Sandia Park is about 30 minutes.

Stayed here for the ABQ balloon festival. Walked to the festival to avoid traffic jams / rideshare surge pricing. After you carefully navigate the dirt path adjacent to the frontage road, the rest of the walk is about 30 minutes each way on sidewalks with crosswalks at intersections. Front desk staff gave me several valuable tips about attending the festival. They were very friendly and there was always someone at the desk or nearby. Facility is nice - lobby is open space adjacent to rooms and elevator. Coffee / hot water is available all day. Rooms have toiletries (shampoo / conditioner). Daily housekeeping was provided. It's accessible by public transportation, though it's a long 1-mile walk. There is multiple fast-food restaurants within a 15–20-minute walk if you use the gate in the fence at the rear of the parking lot. Also, nearby Tin Can Alley has a variety of local fast-food options and a brewpub. Tin Can Alley has bar area seating and a variety of indoor / outdoor seats on two levels. This hotel is a clean, comfortable, affordable basic accommodation base for ABQ-area sightseeing.
JJojo GillenThe door in the restroom fell out of its hinges from the bottom and fell on my babies as we were opening the door cuz it was stuck . It was an alright stay. I wouldn't say I wouldn't stay there again. As for trip.com u suck and didn't say what u said you would do so I had to pay for 2 days when u were supposed to get it refunded so we can go home I messaged someone the night I got there for a refund and the next day u went to leave and i had no choice but to stay because it was already 24hours. It was all so confusing!
While driving cross country, my husband and I stopped at this Motel 6. We booked the reservation via the Motel 6 app and paid a little extra for a mini-fridge in the room. Upon arrival we were told that the property had no mini-fridges but was not able to adjust the price since we booked through the app. Things went down hill from there. There was only one hand towel and washcloth for 2 people, there was a large cigarette hole in the sheet and no mattress pad. When I called the desk to ask for more towels etc. I was told that housekeeping keeps linens locked up and he did not have that key. The floor was so filthy that we had to wash our feet before bed and again before putting socks on in the morning. The grounds were filthy and in disrepair - and the bolt lock on our door did not work. We would have left to find a different motel but were exhausted from a full day of travel. At least there we no bedbugs. . . . .
SSeetheUSA22No bells or whistles here. The place is showing its age but the room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfy. The AC unit sounded like a semi running, thankfully I had earplugs. The parking lot was very well lit, I'm sure for security. The price was more than tripled because of the Balloon Fiesta. If I had to, I'd stay one night.
This is absolutely a roach hotel. Bathroom was full of bugs. I sprayed down with raid. Bathtub is filthiest I have ever seen. I actually liked Motel 6 hotels until this experience because of the pet policies. Front desk was never ther. They promised a call back which I never received. I wasn’t even able to tell them about the filth and bugs and dirt in the room because they put a not on the door it was full occupancy and they left for the night. I had to stay in this big infest rat hole of a motel. They never called me backpack. Still waiting for corporate to call me but says they only call back Monday thru Friday 8-5. The one bed was stained but not sure if it had been washed and didn’t use bleach or if they just put the dirty bed linen back on. The other bed looked ok so o slept on that one. They also swept the dirt into the corners of the room instead of sweeping it up. Behind the bathroom door was either spaghetti noodle or female feline string that was laying g on the floor. Never seen a shadower stall so dirty. I may contact the health department because this place is not livable. I am infuriated when the front desk said they would call me back and never did. They left a note on the door that they were full up and never answered the phones. I will never stay at a Motel 6 again because of my experience at this dump.
GGuest UserThe most frightening of all the hotels I stayed in was that there were a lot of hotel rooms, the room was open to the outdoors, there were homeless people outside, and there were two people upstairs staring at me when I checked in to get things. The bed is too soft and uncomfortable.
