Golden Topaz Phu Quoc Resort Reviews

The room is clean and tidy. Although it is not very new, it is acceptable. The only facility is the swimming pool. The location is relatively remote. The biggest dissatisfaction was that there was no hot water in the shower. Although we repeatedly told the front desk to wait for 30 minutes, there was no hot water for the last two nights, so we had to wash our feet.

Didn't like the breakfasts. You order in advance from the menu. It turns out not enough, I didn’t have enough. I didn't like the location either. The street where the hotel is located is quite quiet and dark. The feeling that you are somewhere on an eerie outskirts. The fact that you have to go to the sea is not so bad. Then you also have to walk along the shore, since the sea in that place is not swimmable. But the hotel itself is gorgeous! Very cozy and beautiful. Small - the entire area is a swimming pool and bungalows and 2-story buildings located around it. Literally surrounded by greenery! You can swim in the pool until late! At the reception there is a refrigerator with drinks at reasonable prices for the hotel.

In general, the hotel is not bad, quite clean, everything is green, a nice and warm swimming pool, the rooms are large, the TV shows YouTube in Russian. They only serve breakfast and it is monotonous, but tasty. The beach is clean, the water is clear, but the walk to the beach is 250 meters. We were completely satisfied with the price and quality.

The hotel is great! In greenery and silence. The rooms and beds are huge. The pool is big. Cleanliness is monitored everywhere. The only problem is with hot water, it takes a long time to wait, and sometimes not at all. Breakfast is the same every day and must be ordered in the evening.

This is a lovely resort, it's small and has a beautiful pool and grounds and it's very relaxing The bed rooms are good, comfortable.. Fairly basic.. Very roomy.. Nice balcony Any small issues are resolved quickly by the staff The breakfasts are a bit inflexible as have to order the night before and not many European options..

We stayed for 5 nights, and loved it! The location was also very good - a 5 minute walk to the beach. Which was a clean and not to crowded.

This was one of my most unusual stays at a resort as we came during low season and we were the only ones there for the week. The owners live on site and they were great at accommodating whatever we needed, which wasn’t much. But check in was simple, they brought our bags up to our room and the room was clean and cool. They provide small toiletries if you need. My only complaint was the hot water is so finicky that you sometimes are cold or burning hot and you’ll never know what’s coming out. They let us rent a moped for $120,000 a day which is super cheap. And we had to stay an extra day at the same rate due to flight cancellation. You can pre order breakfast to make life simple and it is very affordable. The site itself is well maintained and lush with foliage and a beautiful warm pool. We enjoyed it very much and it was a fantastic deal.

We stayed, 2 families, 8 people and had interconnecting rooms. Communication before and during our trip was great. They organised our transfer and were very helpful when we arrived with washing and advising things to do and eat around the area. It is a quiet little resort, walking distance from the beach and to eateries around the area. There was a great little restaurant across the road which we frequented. All the staff were lovely and at times it felt like you were the only the people in the resort. The rooms are very big and huge bathrooms. They were cleaned daily and the gardens and area were very well maintained. I would stay again, there are other bigger fancier places but Golden Topaz felt that bit secluded and great value for money

Nice clean property and lovely staff. Good location to beach and surrounding restaurants. A great little place across the road open from breakfast to dinner with good food and cocktails. Huge rooms, bed and bathroom. They use solar so didnt always have hot water but not a big problem as they turned on the hot water service when it was required. Nice pool, with hardly any residence using it. Would definetly stay there again.

Tom was absolutely amazing. He could not do enough for us. His English is fantastic and he is full of energy and so very happy and helpful. The rooms are beautiful, clean, great air con. The pool is super as was the breakfast. Exceptional service and wonderful hotel. Tom thank you so much for making our stay so special.

A magnificent haven of peace. Very clean with a nice swimming pool. Efficient and good advice staff. I was worried about the noise after reading about the presence of cats and dogs. He has absolutely nothing to do with it. We barely see them and, above all, we don't hear them. Without hesitation the best place to sleep on the island. Good bedding and beautiful bedrooms and bathroom.
