I stayed at this hotel for 11 nights. On the 5th day, the air conditioner in my room broke. I was offered to spend the night in another room until the air conditioner was fixed. I found this strange and we agreed that I would make do with a fan for now. Two days later, they finally told me that I was being moved to a different room on a higher level. Why didn't they move me right away? One day, I returned to my room and realized that I couldn't open the door with my card. It simply didn't respond to the card. I had to go to the reception four times and they told me that the card was demagnetized. But it turned out that the door lock was discharged. Then, two days before departure, I went to the reception and asked for a late check-out. I agreed to the offer and paid 950 baht. But on the day of check-out, the manager simply couldn't find my payment. And until I started making a fuss and telling her to call another manager who accepted the payment, she said, "Sorry, ma'am." In short, everything about this hotel seems broken; half the staff don't know their jobs. The hotel is nice, the cleaning is good, the grounds are green, but the service issues ruin it all. And this is the first hotel I've ever stayed at where they won't let you leave until they check if you broke anything in the room. Overall, for me, the negatives outweighed the positives.

The hotel is clean, room smelled well. Reception is friendly. I would stay in the hotel one more time when revisit Phuket. The minus is a location on the hill, luggage becomes a small inconvenience.

Great Hotel resort for easy access to town and local amenities. Being offset from ground level by a natural hill it feels almost tucked away - a mini escape from the busy streets below. The Double room we stayed in was spotless, with daily room cleaning, large and modern shower/bathroom and 2 bottles of water provided daily. The pool is surprisingly large with a waterfall type feature - plenty of sun loungers and the bar / restaurant is directly next to the pool.
Big pro: Free access to the gym which is part of a building next door, not actually part of the Hotel. It is Fully equipped for any workout.
Cons: being a Spa resort, we at least expected free use of the sauna and Jaczzi facilities, however these are extra charge.
Overall, great value money - would stay again :)

Got this room at a bargain price so rated accordingly (ended up listing 50% more expensive near travel date). I opted for a city view over pool view and glad I did as it was cheaper and did not look much different as the pool is half way down the slope anyway. I had a ground floor room which I preferred, like a ground villa, I think room 208, very easy access to the lifts and basically no steps. Other rooms are upstairs and just balconies. The rooms are old fashioned, which I like but the younger traveller could find the room dated. Pool area ok (deep in parts). Didn’t try the restaurant, but there is one. Entry a pain as there are a few steps to lift but I’m sure the lobby can collect luggage. Motorcycle shop across the road had good prices and easy to deal with. There is as a 7-11 and pool table bar also, not much else. There is an excellent food market towards the beach and further along (300m) a set of bars (if that’s your thing). Some massage shops around but very busy at peak times. Reasonably handy location but a taxi ride to the centre of town.
