This hotel is fantastic! I like the outdoor shower & indoor bathtub. Very comfortable! The location is Perfect, with restaurant & massage salon within a minutes walk. Beach is just opposite the road. I was pleased with my choice of this hotel and will definitely come back to stay here again! 👍

Very nice place, close to everything. We walked to the beach several times and enjoyed the pool.

The service was good 👍🏻 clean and nice room with our own bathtub and jacuzzi. Near by you can find everything what you need, 2 min walk to the beach, 7/11, massage and many shops right next to the hotel. The hotel is quite nice and big. There was so quiet which is good and relaxing. Breakfasts are ok as well. Stuff pretty friendly

The location is very good with just a few minutes to the beach and a lot of restaurants outside the hotel. The gym room was quite good. The room had a lot of place to put the luggage. Nice view from balcony. Breakfast was ok.

The hotel is ok for its price. Service isn’t the most welcoming (not smiling people in Thailand are rather exceptional. In this hotel most of the staff doesn’t smile to you).

The Old Phuket is a 4-star hotel due to its facilities. Usually 4-star also coincides with a high quality of customer service. Unfortunately not in this hotel. At check-in I was discriminated against as a solo white male traveller. I was made to sign a waiver stating that I would pay THB1,400 if a woman accompanied me to my room. I noted couples did not have to sign forms (I guess 3somes are not popular in Karon). I’m unsure if this action is also racist as I was unable to observe single guys of other nationalities checking in. On the first night, walking barefoot in my room, I accumulated black hairs on the soles of my feet. As a balding blonde European - you can imagine how off putting this experience was for me. I had a further issue with Housekeeping when my room was unmade by 5pm on the 3rd day. I phoned Reception who explained that 56 guests were due to check in today. Hmmm…. Finally, I requested a 2nd key for my room. There are a limited number of electrical sockets and it requires a key card in a slot to recharge devices. Two Receptionists refused my request. I asked to speak with a Supervisor who agreed but made me sign a waiver that if I didn’t return 2 keys, I would be charged THB100. So there we have it - 4-star Old Phuket service! On a positive note, the hotel is well located and the rooms are lovely (but dirty). Shout out for the Security guards who were always cheerful and helpful.

It is close to lots of restaurants and the beach.

Excellent hotel. We took the pool access and had no regrets. Staff were excellent. Only the wifi was not v food. Many mosquitoes. We ask the staff to spray while cleaning our room. Breakfast was good.take the shuttle bus to puket Town from outside. Cheaper. The beach n sunset excellent. Will definitely return back for the serene n quietness of the hotel. Just felt like in heaven. Hotel provide balls and floaters in the pool. It made it more fun.

Needs a bit of loving to the buildings and pool area. Room sizes great... we had drop in pool access... brilliant. No air con in breakfast area... wide selection of international food but we had stayed in top quality in BKK and KL... fans for cooling but in the open air.... hot in May Great 500thb late check out option till 3pm. Awesome when having a late flight. Staff friendly and amenable. Some great food and massage near by. Accommodation very well priced with pool access. See you again

Hotel is worth for the price. Spacious room, comfortable bed, beach is just across the road, good variety in the breakfast. I suggest this hotel for those who are looking for a quite zone buy not too far from bars and restaurants. Just beside the hotel is a place You can have street food (very delicious) and walking You'll see many restaurants, ATMs，pharmacies, shops, etc. The only negative point I have to mentioned is Their transfer service to the airport. The hotel sent us a driver that didn't even know the way to the airport. After 40 minutes driving He realized that was lost and decided to use the GPS. I journey that was supposed to takes 1 hour took us 1 hour and 30 minutes, because of that We almost lost our flight 😫

Once we arrived at the hotel, we got the wrong room assigned. We booked the Sino Wing jacuzzi room for 5 nights and we were told it wasn’t available anymore. We contacted the Trip customer service and the last person that helped us got told our Sino Wing room was under maintenance. The next day we went to the frontdesk and the receptionist also stated the room was under maintenance. We stood our ground and then the manager showed up, willing to show us the Sino Wing room so we could choose if we wanted to move or stay in our ‘upgrade’ (a family room with pool view isn’t an upgrade in our opinion since we’re a couple looking for a relaxed holiday). We chose the room we booked and we were able to move to our room after 2 nights in the Serene Wing. Staff was nice, room was cleaned daily, but those are the only plusses we can give this hotel. Not even worthy 4 stars. Linen was stained, wifi was very poor, breakfast wasn’t worth it. Make sure to bring your keycard when going outside of the resort, because the security guy will definitely scream at you when you can’t proof you’re a hotel guest. Because we had to sleep 2 nights in the wrong room we received coupons for 2 free dinners at restaurant Chili. We could only choose from set menu’s and had to pay for our drinks. We never had such a bad restaurant experience. Drinks weren’t served at the same time (cocktail was served first and we had to ask for the ordered water after 15 mins of waiting). We were the only guests, so it wasn’t like they had a lot to do. All courses except the dessert were served at the same time. So imagine having a table filled with soups, appetizers and mains but no rice or anything. That needed to be ordered separately. We left before we got our dessert and we never went back to redeem the other coupons. If you like spending your holiday amongst thousands of tourists, Karon is the place to go. If you prefer a quiet holiday, go to Rawai.

My girlfriend and I arrived late and we were both very tired. Most hotels provide tea or a drink to guests on arrival. This one does not. We were checked in and put in the wrong room. The room we were put in had stains on the sheets and the mattress and pillows were rock hard. Neither of us slept very well that first night. The next morning I complained and had my room changed to the one that I had paid for, which was much better, however it was not the 4 star experience I had hoped for. The shower was outside and this took the girlfriend some getting used to. There were a ton of mosquitos and there were no screens on the windows and no screen doors to keep the mosquitos out. The AC was very loud. When we checked out they tried to accuse me of losing or stealing an umbrella despite the fact that both I and my GF did a final sweep of the room and counted two umbrellas. The staff seemed generally confused when I asked for things and I suspect their English was not so good. The hotel advertises a fitness center but they only have one treadmill. The pool was nice (there were two pools) but the bar-tender took far too long to serve the drinks we ordered. The hotel advertises private beach access but it has nothing of the sort.

This was one of the most horrible experience at the beginning , we arrived late at night they gave us a room for special needs people we don't know why they had other rooms available but still gave is that room for no reason at all we never asked for it , also it was incredibly noisy the AC and the fans are just too old we couldn't sleep , the staff showed us few other rooms to chose from but all the rooms were noisy.

Room big , clean and well decorated . The hotel has access to the beach . Next door hotel is in construction , you can hear it depend on which side is your room . Overall it was a pleasant stay
