It's a terrible hotel. I booked it after seeing good reviews online. When I checked in, I saw bird droppings on the sheets and the room was very hot. We asked to change rooms and stayed in a room on the third floor which was also hot and very unclean. Won't stay here again

-Good hospitality -Clean room and bathroom -Did not expect breakfast to be offered. It was good! Overall, im a satisfied customer. If you're a future customer, make sure to go to the rooftop as well to get a wider view of the paddy field. Another tips, watch the view earlier in the morning as the crowd can be packed after 10am especially during school holiday.

We had a family with 2 bunk bed. Room is clean and spacious but the bed frame is very noisy when any movement is made.

Had a great stay here! Quite surprised to find an automated check in/check out machine in this hotel in this little town of Sekinchan. The rooms are very spacious, clean and have great view of padi fields. And their roof top is open 24/7, great place to chill out. My only pet peeve is the gravel road leading to the hotel, those cars that are too low will not like this gravel road.

The hotel is in an excellent location. The nearby Chinese fishing village has delicious food, great value for money, and delicious fresh coconut water! The windows of the hotel's high-rise rooms offer panoramic views. The room is fully equipped and very comfortable.

Location is good. Parking at premises is available. Self check in. There’s complimentary breakfast too. There is no mosquito. The surrounding paddy field view is spectacular. But the room is not soundproof. You can hear the toilet door slammed and also the running water pipe sound. There is tv, fan and aircond in the room. Spacious bathroom. Towels, toiletries and hair dryer is provided. Do not be tricked by the comments that all room have big windows with awesome paddy field view. Mine is at first floor, the big window is facing the road separating the paddy fields and the eye level view is disappointingly overlooking the road and pole wire. Do request for higher floor facing the paddy field instead of the road. Besides that you can also rent tripod from the Homestay. Power plug is sufficient. Water dispenser is provided at each floor.

They call this a “homestay,” which almost deterred me from staying here. It’s actually a pleasant hotel that just lacks a 24 hour front desk — I think it’s staffed during daylight hours — and relies on an electronic kiosk for check in and check out. There’s no cafe or restaurant, but there are food vending machines in the lobby and restaurants nearby. You’ll want to come with your own transportation. That said, we had a very pleasant stay there, and if you don’t require hotel services, you will too. The hotel is located in one of the many concrete, box-like structures that you’ll see in the padi fields around Sekinchan. These used to be commercial nesting houses for the swiftlets whose saliva nests are used to make birds’ nest soup. Normally the swiftlets nest in caves in remote areas, which makes harvesting the nests difficult. But if you have plenty of swiftlets and no caves, as in Sekinchan, you can build an artificial cave and have a business. I guess that business didn’t thrive, and many of these bird nest houses have been repurposed into alternative uses like this one. The hotel is constructed entirely of concrete (floors, walls, ceilings). The rooms are adequate in size with a huge window providing an excellent view over the rice fields. The rooms are immaculate; air conditioning is good; and a station providing filtered drinking water is available next to the elevator on each floor to refill your water bottles. The kiosk-based check in and check out works well, but is inflexible. If you want to extend your stay you still have to use the kiosk to check out on your original date of departure and check in again. Even though you’re paying for the next day, the kiosk still will charge you a significant penalty if you don’t complete the check out by 12 o’clock check out time. This is weird and inconvenient (and the front desk staff don’t tell you these details), but if you know the rule you can easily manage it. The limited front desk staff speak only Chinese, with the exception of one older lady who frequently isn’t there but is reachable by phone. The hotel has a few set ups in the back (swing, heart-shaped seat and staircase to nowhere) to help you get Instagram-worthy photos on the spot. These seemed to be very popular with young couples staying there. There are several casual restaurants nearby, including a good Vietnamese restaurant just a couple of blocks away, plus lots of Chinese restaurants. (The population of Sekinchan is 80% Chinese.) I came here to photograph the abundant kingfishers that nest in the banks of the irrigation canals running through the rice fields. Padi Sentral was perfect for my needs — comfortable room, perfect location, inexpensive).

The good: Everything about this hotel is better than expected, comfortable bed , cool aircond despite the hot weather, great water pressure with hot and cold water, water dispenser is conveniently allocated to every floor, checking in and out process is efficient with deposit of only RM50, each room has a perfect view of the paddy fields, Wi-Fi is good enough The bad: Missed the road to the hotel as it has a separate parallel road to reach the hotel, the road leading to hotel is not tarred, cups, a jug, and 2-in-1 shampoo is provided, nothing more.. so bring your own dental kits and own tea or coffee, however there is a vending machine at the ground floor Room and toilet is big and roomy, great place to relax away from the city. There’s a rooftop on the 4th floor for bbq and catching the sunset. Also, there are nice props around the hotel to take insta worthy photos. I think it is a 4.5 out of 5 for me. I rarely do say this but would definitely return to this hotel.
