Secret Cliff Resort & Restaurant Reviews

I added Phuket to my Thailand trip as I wanted to enjoy the beach and sun. This hotel is quite nice, it’s located in the hills and has a nice pool. The only thing is that it’s about an hour from the airport and 20-30 minutes from the beach. They do offer free shuttle to the beach. I didn’t try any of the amenities. Also note that if you’re checking out at ridiculous time (like me at 4am) the front desk person is in the back and you might have to make a lot of noise to get someone to come out. I would book here if you have your own vehicle to take you places or if you’re looking for a little relaxing break. I’d probably actually visit again it’s really nice - one of the nicer hotels I’ve been too. Actually it was about 40-50 baht (one way) to get to local beach and town and around 200 baht to visit old Phuket town

Loved the resort , we were a bit skeptical at first when we saw the reviews but it’s located in a very good location, but the only thing issue is that to go across you need to wait for a golf cart

The hotel was clean and spacious, and the variety of breakfast options was good! However, it would be better if they provided slippers. The bathroom amenities were quite limited; you need to bring your own toothpaste, brush, and handwash. While I was fine since I had my own amenities, having slippers would have been nice. Overall, I loved the hotel—it feels like you have your own villa! ❤️❤️ I would definitely recommend it if you're planning to stay near Kata Beach or Karon Beach, as the location is very convenient.

The location is bad - you should go to any beach (Karon or Patong) by taxi. The prices for tuktuk and taxi are very high. They have free shuttle to the beaches in the morning, but you need to return somehow. The breakfast is very good, variety of thai and vestern dishes, some good desserts they always have. The restorant is good, prices are high enough. The stuff is really nice and friendly. The swimming pool is very small. The room are good, but they don't care about cleaning floor and bathroom. Everything is dirty. All furniture is scruffy. I think the hotel needs to be totally repaired, it is extremely tired)

I booked the room called Deluxe but it’s too far from that . The door , toilet seat, shower, bed close were broken and a lot of ants in the room . We asked to fix at least toilet seat but nobody did anything. Location is 2 km from Karon and Patong but it’s not easy to take a taxi in the evening . The restaurant across the street and the road super dangerous but you can ask reception to take you there . Just restaurant view I like and stuff there was so helpful . Don’t recommend !

The location was so good as it’s right in between Patong and Karon beaches. Only 6mins by taxi each ways. Breakfast was okay the view from the restaurant is phenomenal. Not many shops near so you have to go to one of the beaches to get to nearest seven11. Public pool was great with nice view and happy hour drinks. Restaurant food was good. There were so many ants inside the hotel room and some fruits falling on top of the roof made it a little bit hard to sleep. Some were making pretty huge almost like explosion sounds.

Very bad  accommodation. Mess in the area. Non-functioning sockets in the room. Bad location of the accommodation, you can't get anywhere without a scooter. Definitely not recommended. We would never return.

一间极其不友好的酒店，别住。That's a terrible hotel. 1.The location is not as the app shown, the app location shown is the previous hotel, maybe the boss sold the hotel and now the hotel located there is ANONA, the Secret Cliff Resort is opposite the ANONA. 2.All thing in the hotel room is klunky，the phone，the AC, ect. The toilet shares the room with the shower place and no exhaust fan (no ventilation). The bedsheet is dirty,The toilet bowl is blocked, the bedside socket had no power, the technicians could not fix it even working for long time, nearly 1 hour. 3. The front desk duty manager (lady,on duty on 19th,Dec 2024 afternoon) is arrogant，she told us the hotel doesn't offer disposable toothbrush and slippers because the hotel price is low(we booked it 439hkd，more than 2000฿), if we want to have toothbrush and slippers, we need to pay or we need to go to another more expensive hotel. And she refused to show us her name tag. She refused our refund request(based on the poor facilities and poor service) even our agent send refund request.

The view and pool were amazing. The breakfast… I made it work. Was it close to things… by taxi. Make sure you stock up in 7/11 stuff before. But I opened my fridge and a pool of water came out. My room smelled unless I had the air con in and the patio door open. My room was unfortunate. I think others are better . I had no view. There are renovations happening . BUT… I really enjoyed the pool and view. I’m easy. But can see why ppl have it bad reviews. The bed was amazing for me. There was no shower only a tub. But I also don’t mind that. I stayed two nights and that was enough…also chose it because of the gym and… the weight selection is good but too many broken cardio machines in the way… and the room was like a green house and unusable… so I just drank by the pool…. When I could find someone… also I ordered a burger and fries and I could have made the frozen Pattie better… the Thai food was much better. Don’t plan to work out or eat western food or be near things and you’ll be ok for two nights

I booked a room, but when I arrived at the hotel, I was told that there was no room. It took me two days to check in. I was speechless. If you don't have a room, please close the online ordering link immediately and don't deceive tourists. There are lizards in the room. If you afraid , you take the attention of animals. The hotel is still under renovation. There is noise.

Not same picture and location fake pictures all is fake

You all already saw good and very bad review right? about this hotel. I think its all about luck😂. Because i got a good one. But the SEA VIEW actually a shared a roof, a tree and a sea view. Not clearly see the sea view. But for the price i think its okay. I ask for iron and iron board. But it only available from 8am. If you come here by Car. Maybe a little bit difficult to parking by. Maybe have to park across the road. Then walk to the lobby that is very steep. I came here by motorcyle. So dont have any problem. Location a bit far from Patong if u want a night life. I rate 4/5

I rarely leave negative reviews, but the receptionist at this hotel left a lasting impression—and not in a good way. From the moment we arrived, their attitude was cold, unwelcoming, and borderline rude. Simple questions were met with eye rolls or dismissive responses, and there was no effort to make us feel comfortable or valued as guests.
