Fantastic setting, the beautiful town of Polinago is like a fairly tale. Full of character, surrounded by forests and lovely vistas. A truly relaxing experience. David and Winn were very welcoming and generous with their time, and their catering was fantastic - if you want the real-deal Italian experience, this is it!

Thanks Winnifred and David for a wonderful stay at Cherry House BnB. You are great hosts and know exactly how to look after your guests. Our room was spacious and cosy with ensuite bathroom, an excellent nights sleep. The view to Monte Cimone was outstanding. Home made meals and breakfast topped off the stay. We'll see you again for sure.

David and Winifred are great hosts, being warm, friendly and super helpful with making restaurant reservations in Italian and advice on what to do and see in the beautiful area around Polinago. It is so valuable to a non Italian speaking traveller when your hosts speak perfect English and Italian. Our room was quiet and very comfortable, and the quality and range of breakfasts was amazing. We are looking forward to our next visit to Cherry House and Polinago.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Winnifred and David at Cherry House in Polinago. Cherry House is situated in an authentic Italian town. This is what I enjoyed because I was able to experience the real Italian way of life. I recommend this for travellers wanting a rest from the big cities. The hostel is very pleasant in decor and furnishings are perfectly put together. The standard of cleanliness is excellent. My room had a wonderful view of Mount Cimone. There is history to become acquainted with in this part of Italy. This was a very interesting aspect of my stay.

What an amazing stay with Win & David! I don’t usually write reviews but this experience was worth writing about. Cherry House is the perfect location in the Apennines to discover the Emilia-Romagna region with easy day trips to either Modena or Sestola. The house is at the end of a quiet street with modern facilities, comfortable beds & great views as per the photo. Win & David are more than helpful with what to see & do & can even provide delicious meals to sample the flavours of the region. Do yourself a favour & book more than 1 night to relax & enjoy the tranquility of the region.

My partner and I spent three nights at the B&B and were greeted with prefessionality but also with a lot of warmth. The two owners are a lovely couple who have travelled the world and came to Polinago by choice. Their approach is therefore that of someone who wants to feel good and make others feel good. Following this motto, they run a house with all the necessary comforts for a stay in the Modenese Apennines. The village doesn't offer much but the surroundings are pleasant and suitable for those who love walking. We recommend it to those who are not in a hurry and want to discover a corner of Italy with a touch of internationality.

Ottima struttura, semplice con camere ben curate, bagni puliti, sala da pranzo ben fornita di bevande. Colazione abbondante con varietà di specialità dolci e salate. Possibilità di pranzare come a casa propria. I titolari Winnie e David sono adorabili e sempre disponibili a fornire consigli e a fare due chiacchiere. Assolutamente da riprovare!!!!

Posto accogliente, curato e pulito. Winnie e David ti fanno sentire a casa e coccolato. La nostra colazione in giardino è stata piena di cibo buono preparato da loro e noi camminatori abbiamo apprezzato molto, una carica energetica per la giornata. Consiglio assolutamente di andarci. Il territorio è ricco di verde e pace.

à la saison du Châtaignier, on a passé 4 jours chez Winnifred . quel bonheur et joyeux moments avec Winnifred et David. Winnifred, sa gentillesse, son énergie, sa dynamique m'apprécie beaucoup. Super propos maison, très bon petits déjeuners et les dîners. forte conseillé pour Cherry House
